Welcome

For Christian American readers of this blog:

I wish to incite all Christians to rise up and take back the United States of America with all of God's manifold blessings. We want the free allowance of the Bible and prayers allowed again in schools, halls of justice, and all governing bodies. We don't seek a theocracy until Jesus returns to earth because all men are weak and power corrupts the very best of them.
We want to be a kinder and gentler people without slavery or condescension to any.

The world seems to be in a time of discontent among the populace. Christians should not fear. God is Love, shown best through Jesus Christ. God is still in control. All Glory to our Creator and to our God!

A favorite quote from my good friend, Jack Plymale, which I appreciate:

"Wars are planned by old men,in council rooms apart. They plan for greater armament, they map the battle chart, but: where sightless eyes stare out, beyond life's vanished joys, I've noticed, somehow, all the dead and mamed are hardly more than boys(Grantland Rice per our mutual friend, Sarah Rapp)."

Thanks Jack!

I must admit that I do not check authenticity of my posts. If anyone can tell me of a non-biased arbitrator, I will attempt to do so more regularly. I know of no such arbitrator for the internet.

Things are looking good for next year. I have high hopes with Coach Cal at the helm and the new class of players that we will do at least as well as we did last year and maybe even better.

I just heard on the sports news on Channel 57 in Hazard which is a subsidiary of WKYT Channel 27 in Lexington that Terrence Jones has changed his mind about going to Washington and has decided on becoming a Kentucky Wildcat after all. How about that?

I think I just heard the Capt. stoke up the Big Blue Bandwagon.

Well when players like Jones decide they want to be a Wildcat then I think it is time to say to our recruits "Welcome to the Big Blue Bandwagon."

Lets make this clear. I think when this whole Terrence Jones situation was going on, we were all getting discouraged. Finally we have a reason to be happy! I mean we were gonna be good, but Jones makes us great. So this is just a happy moment.... yea.... I'M HAPPY!

We are gonna be EXTREMELY TOUGH next year.

I know people may think I'm crazy for saying it but this team could potentially be as good or better next year. This team is constructed much better for the DDMO than last year's team was. We had 2 unbelievable talents that kept last year's team dominant. This year we have balance, depth, and SHOOTING. You can never underestimate the importance of shooting. If we have the number of pure shooters from the outside and from the FREE THROW LINE last year that we will have this year we win the Title IMO.

Our free throw shooting will be drastically improved,

Our 3-point shooting will be much more reliable and consistent,

We have great athleticism, passing, size, skill,

We have 1 dominant big man (instead of 3 clogging the lane) which is essential to make the DDMO work,

We have quick, athletic, extremely talented, and experienced wing players,

We have 2 great guards who can create their own shot

The only thing we don't have a lot of is experience, once again, but our more consistent shooting from the free throw line and three point line may help us survive this time around...

If this team grows as a team and matures with chemistry it is just as/or possibly more dangerous than last years team, no doubt in my mind.

Not to be Debbie Downed (bc I don't think its a bad thing just some on this forum do), but this team now has 3 potential one-and-doners. Just saying, heard a lot of griping bc if UK having four freshmen leave off last year's team. Seemed they loved the 35 wins but wanted to still have something to complain about

I, too, am pumped! Good thread True'N'Blue! I had to go to KSR to affirm that Terrence Jones decided to become a UK Wildcat. Great news! I liked the lineup before and the comments to this thread.

Coach Cal works magic and I believe it will be an interesting thing to watch him form these young men into a great team.
