Welcome

Welcome to my blog http://www.skegley.blogspot.com/ . CAVEAT LECTOR- Let the reader beware. This is a Christian Conservative blog. It is not meant to offend anyone. Please feel free to ignore this blog, but also feel free to browse and comment on my posts! You may also scroll down to respond to any post.

For Christian American readers of this blog:

I wish to incite all Christians to rise up and take back the United States of America with all of God's manifold blessings. We want the free allowance of the Bible and prayers allowed again in schools, halls of justice, and all governing bodies. We don't seek a theocracy until Jesus returns to earth because all men are weak and power corrupts the very best of them.
We want to be a kinder and gentler people without slavery or condescension to any.

The world seems to be in a time of discontent among the populace. Christians should not fear. God is Love, shown best through Jesus Christ. God is still in control. All Glory to our Creator and to our God!

A favorite quote from my good friend, Jack Plymale, which I appreciate:

"Wars are planned by old men,in council rooms apart. They plan for greater armament, they map the battle chart, but: where sightless eyes stare out, beyond life's vanished joys, I've noticed, somehow, all the dead and mamed are hardly more than boys(Grantland Rice per our mutual friend, Sarah Rapp)."

Thanks Jack!

I must admit that I do not check authenticity of my posts. If anyone can tell me of a non-biased arbitrator, I will attempt to do so more regularly. I know of no such arbitrator for the internet.

Thanks Dave Kaelin! - Prince Obama

Prince Obama

Dawood Khan
June 1, 2010 at 5:42 am

This quote was translated into English of an article appearing in the Czech Republic as published in the Prager Zeitung of 28 April 2010 .

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama Presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their President." "The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. " The Republic can survive a Barack Obama who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their President.”

I know not if this was actually extracted from a Czech newspaper. I do know that whoever wrote it has my complete agreement. The more of the ilk of Obama and his crowd of Liberals that we, citizens of America, vote into office, the dimmer the future of our Great Nation.

II am an American (Liberal worst nightmare) Pretty good!

I'd shake this man's hand any day of the week...!!

I Am the Democratic Liberal-Progressive's Worst Nightmare.

I am an White, Conservative, Tax-Paying, American Veteran, Gun Owning Biker.

I am a Master leatherworker. I work hard and long hours with my hands to earn a living.

I believe in God and the freedom of religion, but I don't push it on others.

I ride Harley Davidson Motorcycles, and drive American-made cars, and I believe in American products and buy them whenever I can.

I believe the money I make belongs to me and not some liberal governmental functionary, Democratic or Republican, that wants to share it with others who don't work!

I'm in touch with my feelings and I like it that way!

I think owning a gun doesn't make you a killer; it makes you a smart American.

I think being a minority does not make you noble or victimized, and does not entitle you to anything. Get over it!

I believe that if you are selling me a Big Mac or any other item, you should do it in English. I believe there should be no other language option.

I believe everyone has a right to pray to his or her God when and where they want to.

My heroes are Malcolm Forbes, Bill Gates, John Wayne, Babe Ruth, Roy Rogers, and Willie G. Davidson, who makes the awesome Harley Davidson Motorcycles.

I don't hate the rich. I don't pity the poor.

I know wrestling is fake and I don't waste my time watching or arguing about it.

I've never owned a slave, nor was a slave. I haven't burned any witches or been persecuted by the Turks, and neither have you!

I believe if you don't like the way things are here, go back to where you came from and change your own country!

This is AMERICA ...We like it the way it is and more so the way it was ...so stop trying to change it to look like Russia or China, or other socialist country!

If you were born here and don't like it you are free to move to any Socialist country that will have you. (And take Barack Hussein Obama and his group with you.) Massachusetts started the ball rolling. Keep it going.

I believe it is time to really clean house, starting with the White House, the seat of our biggest problems.

I want to know which church is it, exactly, where the Reverend Jesse Jackson preaches, where he gets his money, and why he is always part of the problem and not the solution.

Can I get an AMEN on that one?

I also think the cops have the right to pull you over if you're breaking the law, regardless of what color you are, but not just because you happen to ride a bike.

And, no, I don't mind having my face shown on my driver's license.

I think it's good.... And I'm proud that 'God' is written on my money..

I think if you are too stupid to know how a ballot works, I don't want you deciding who should be running the most powerful nation in the world for the next four years.

I dislike those people standing in the intersections trying to sell me stuff or trying to guilt me into making 'donations' to their cause.... Get a job and do your part to support yourself and your family!

I believe that it doesn't take a village to raise a child, it takes two parents....

I believe 'illegal' is illegal no matter what the lawyers think.

I believe the American flag should be the only one allowed in AMERICA !

If this makes me a BAD American, then yes, I'm a BAD American.

If you are a BAD American too, please forward this to everyone you know....

We want our country back!

Major Roger Allan Quinn

Army of the United States

I would like to thank you for your service in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Your dedication is immensely important to the people of the United States. The fact that you gave your life in order for us to have a better life means a lot to me and the people that knew you. You are from Ohio, where I am also from. You then moved to Portsmouth where most of my family grew up, and have connections to your relatives and friends. The medals you earned represent what a great leader you were. None of us will forget your bravery, dedication, and what you sacrificed during the Vietnam War. May you rest in peace.

I wrote this for an assingment for language arts class. We were supposed to write a thank you letter to a soldier that served in the Vietnam War. To make it more personal, we were to ask family members if they knew anyone who served. I then asked you guys and you found information about Major Roger Allan Quinn. My whole grade wrote a letter, and when we visited the Vietnam War memorial, we placed the letters under the panel in which our solider was listed.

Thank you for all the information!

LEST WE FORGET

http://www.3-5cav-blackknights.org/casualties.htm

On this date, 38 years ago, Maj. Roger Allan Quinn died serving his country in Vietnam. Roger was a member of HHT Troop, 3rd Squadron, 5th Cavalry. The 3/5 Cav were known as the Black Knights. They were an armored cavalry unit, meaning they fought primarily from tanks and armored fighting vehicles. They are a proud unit with a proud history. RogerÆs tour of duty was about 9 months. Details of the 3/5 CavÆs movements and operations in Vietnam during RogerÆs tour of duty can be found in 2 books: 1) ôIf You AinÆt Cavàö by Dr. Lee March 2) ôRinged in Steelö by Michael Mahler, Executive Officer with the 3/5 Cav. For more info about the 3/5 Cav go to www.3-5cav-blackknights.org. My cousin, too, was a member of the 3/5 Cav. He was KIA New YearÆs Eve, December 31, 1967, about 3 months before Roger. He had only been in country 20 days. This info is provided FYI, for those who didn't know û LEST WE FORGET. It is also provided to keep RogerÆs memory alive for those who didn't know him LEST WE FORGET. Roger knew war, now may he know peace eternally. I am sincerely, forever grateful for his service.
