Welcome

Welcome to my blog http://www.skegley.blogspot.com/ . CAVEAT LECTOR- Let the reader beware. This is a Christian Conservative blog. It is not meant to offend anyone. Please feel free to ignore this blog, but also feel free to browse and comment on my posts! You may also scroll down to respond to any post.

For Christian American readers of this blog:

I wish to incite all Christians to rise up and take back the United States of America with all of God's manifold blessings. We want the free allowance of the Bible and prayers allowed again in schools, halls of justice, and all governing bodies. We don't seek a theocracy until Jesus returns to earth because all men are weak and power corrupts the very best of them.
We want to be a kinder and gentler people without slavery or condescension to any.

The world seems to be in a time of discontent among the populace. Christians should not fear. God is Love, shown best through Jesus Christ. God is still in control. All Glory to our Creator and to our God!

A favorite quote from my good friend, Jack Plymale, which I appreciate:

"Wars are planned by old men,in council rooms apart. They plan for greater armament, they map the battle chart, but: where sightless eyes stare out, beyond life's vanished joys, I've noticed,somehow, all the dead and mamed are hardly more than boys(Grantland Rice per our mutual friend, Sarah Rapp)."

Thanks Jack!

I must admit that I do not check authenticity of my posts. If anyone can tell me of a non-biased arbitrator, I will attempt to do so more regularly. I know of no such arbitrator for the internet.

The plan for September 11th observance

We have less than two weeks to get the word out all across this great

land and into every community in the United States of America .

If you forward this email to at least 11 people and each of those

people do the same ... you get the idea.

THE PROGRAM:

On Sunday September 11th, 2011, everyone needs to display the flag of

these United States of America!!!

On Sunday, September 11th, 2011, an American flag should be displayed

outside every home, apartment, office, and store in the United States

. Every individual should make it their duty to display an American

flag on this tenth anniversary of one of our country's worst

tragedies. We do this to honor those who lost their lives on 9/11,

their families, friends and loved ones who continue to endure the

pain, and those who today are fighting at home and abroad to preserve

our cherished freedoms.

In the days, weeks and months following 9/11, our country was bathed

in American flags as citizens mourned the incredible losses and stood

shoulder-to-shoulder against terrorism. Sadly, those flags have all

but disappeared. Our patriotism pulled us through some tough times and

it shouldn't take another attack to galvanize us in solidarity. Our

American flag is the fabric of our country and together we can prevail

over terrorism of all kinds.

Action Plan:

So, here's what we need you to do.

(1) Forward this email to everyone you know,

Please don't be the one to break this chain.

Take a moment to think back to how you felt on 9/11 and let those

sentiments guide you.

(2) Fly an American flag of any size on 9/11

Thank you for your participation... God Bless You and God Bless America !

Women ... Thanks to a good anonymous friend!

Women : Just read the first half!

A Woman was out golfing one day when she hit the ball into the woods. She went into the woods to look for it and found a frog in a trap. The frog said to her, "If you release me from this trap, I will grant you three wishes." The woman freed the frog, and the frog said, Thank you, but I failed to mention that there was a condition to your wishes.

Whatever you wish for, your husband will get times ten!" The woman said, "That's okay." For her first wish, she wanted to be the most beautiful woman in the world. The frog warned her, "You do realize that this wish will also make your husband the most handsome man in the world, an Adonis whom women will flock to". The woman replied, "That's okay, because I will be the most beautiful Woman and he will have eyes only for me." So, KAZAM-she's the most beautiful Woman in the world! For her second wish, she wanted to be the richest woman in the world. The frog said, "That will make your husband the richest man in the world. And he will be ten times richer than you. " The woman said, "That's okay, because what's mine is his and what's his is mine." So, KAZAM-she's the richest woman in the world! The frog then inquired about her third wish, and she answered, "I'd like a mild heart attack."

Moral of the story: Women are clever. Don't mess with them.

Attention female readers: This is the end of the joke for you. Stop here and continue feeling good.

Male readers: Please scroll down.

The man had a heart attack ten times milder than his wife!!!

Moral of the story: Women are really dumb but think they're really smart. Let them continue to think that way and just enjoy the show.

PS: If you are a woman and are still reading this; it only goes to show that women never listen!!!

Forward this to all the guys for a good laugh, and to all the ladies who have a good sense of humour

Little Duncan A new favorite ... Thanks Pat whitehead!

My brother, Paul, and his wife, Mary (Deemer), are raising her "Little Ducnan", grandson, Ethan and he comes up with some "Duncans".

Little Duncan May Become My New Favorite!

A new teacher was trying to make use of her psychology courses. She started her class by saying, “Everyone who thinks they're stupid, stand up!”

After a few seconds, Little Duncan stood up. The teacher said, “Do you think you're stupid, Duncan?”

“No, ma'am, but I hate to see you standing there all by yourself!”

Duncan watched, fascinated, as his mother smoothed cold cream on her face.

“Why do you do that, mommy?” he asked. “To make myself beautiful,” said his mother, who then began removing the cream with a tissue.

“What's the matter”, asked Duncan “Giving up?”

The math teacher saw that Duncan wasn't paying attention in class.

She called on him and said, “Duncan! What are 2 and 4 and 28 and 44?”

Duncan quickly replied, “NBC, FOX, ESPN and the Cartoon Network!”

Duncan 's kindergarten class was on a field trip to their local police station where they saw pictures tacked to a bulletin board of the 10 most wanted criminals.

One of the youngsters pointed to a picture and asked if it really was the photo of a wanted person.

“Yes” said the policeman. “The detectives want very badly to capture him.”

Duncan asked, "Why didn't you keep him when you took his picture?”

Little Duncan attended a horse auction with his father. He watched as his father moved from horse to horse, running his hands up and down the horse's legs and rump, and chest.

After a few minutes, Duncan asked, “Dad, why are you doing that?”

His father replied, “Because when I'm buying horses, I have to make sure that they are healthy and in good shape before I buy.”

Duncan, looking worried, said, “Dad, I think the Milkman wants to buy Mom .......”

If this brightened your day, don't let it stop here

Keep spreading the cheer!

WHAT WE HAVE LEARNED IN 2,064 YEARS........................

"The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled,

public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be

tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should

be curtailed lest Rome becomes bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance."

Re- Seal Team 6 and treason ... Thanks Ron Walters!

Navy Seals

So,here is how I understand what happened in Afghanistan with the
slaughter of the guys from Seal Team Six.

On the night of the Osama Bin Laden raid, Secretary of Defense Gates
asked all the people in the situation room to abstain from revealing
that Seal Team Six was the military unit responsible. Everyone agreed,
understanding the danger of revenge seekers from the Taliban and Al Qaeda.

Then on Monday, Vice President Joe Biden, in an attempt to show how much
he was in the know, revealed that it was Seal Team Six. Of course the
media then ran with it. So the Pentagon has gone to great effort to
protect Seal Team Six and their families. As of last Thursday Gates, who
is no longer Defense Secretary, stated that they had implemented very
advanced security measures.

As to what happened in Afghanistan, apparently Al Qaeda fed false
information to the US that a high value target would be at a precise
location on Friday. So naturally, the military sent in Seal Team Six to
get them. It was all a set-up and heavily armed Al Qaeda and Taliban
were waiting for them and we know the results.

This is not the first time that a politician has caused the deaths of
American Servicemen, but it is one of the most egregious. I guess
Panetta, the current Secretary of Defense, and Gates are furious. I
think Biden should be tried for treason, but I doubt that will happen. I
just hope the American electorate will kick these amateurs out of office.

Incidentally, all of the above is public record. Gates has made many
speeches since he left office in which he discussed the extreme danger
Seal Team Six was under since their identity was revealed by Biden.

Dog's loyalty to his Seal master upon his death ... thanks Dr. Hovermale!

Hawkeye lays by the casket during the funeral of his owner, Navy SEAL Jon Tumilson, on August 19. By Scott Stump

Print Font: +-Navy SEAL Jon Tumilson lay in a coffin, draped in an American flag, in front of a tearful audience mourning his death in Afghanistan. Soon an old friend appeared, and like a fellow soldier on a battlefield, his loyal dog refused to leave him behind.

Tumilson’s Labrador retriever, Hawkeye, was photographed lying by Tumilson’s casket in a heart-wrenching image taken at the funeral service in Tumilson’s hometown of Rockford, Iowa, earlier this week. Hawkeye walked up to the casket at the beginning of the service and then dropped down with a heaving sigh as about 1,500 mourners witnessed a dog accompanying his master until the end, reported CBS.

Petty Officer 1st Class Jon T. Tumilson was killed along with other SEALs on Aug. 6 in Afghanistan. Story: Maltese dog missing for year after car crash is headed home

The photo was snapped by Tumilson’s cousin, Lisa Pembleton, and posted on her Facebook page in memory of the San Diego resident. Tumilson, 35, was one of 30 American troops, including 22 Navy SEALs, who were killed when a Taliban insurgent shot down a Chinook helicopter with a rocket-propelled grenade on Aug. 6.

“I felt compelled to take one photo to share with family members that couldn't make it or couldn't see what I could from the aisle,” Pembleton wrote on her Facebook page. “To say that he was an amazing man doesn't do him justice. The loss of Jon to his family, military family and friends is immeasurable.’’

Hawkeye was such a huge part of Tumilson’s life that Tumilson’s family followed the dog down the aisle as they entered the service in front of a capacity crowd in the gymnasium at the Rudd-Rockford-Marble Rock Community School. Hawkeye then followed Tumilson’s good friend, Scott Nichols, as Nichols approached the stage to give a speech. As Nichols prepared to memorialize his friend, Hawkeye dutifully laid down near the casket.

.The youngest of three children, Tumilson had wanted to be a Navy SEAL since he was a teenager. Friends and his two older sisters remembered a fearless soldier, and a Power Point presentation was shown that illustrated Tumilson’s active life outside of the military, which included scuba diving, martial arts, and triathlons.

"If J.T. had known he was going to be shot down when going to the aid of others, he would have went anyway," friend Boe Nankivel said at the service.

“Your dreams were big and seemed impossible to nearly everyone on the outside," his sister, Kristie Pohlman, said at the service. "I always knew you'd somehow do what you wanted."

As for Hawkeye, the loyal Labrador will now be owned by Nichols, Tumilson’s friend.

A prayer request ... Thanks Sarah Rapp!

From a friend:

I have a prayer request. There's a lady I've known forever. She's very
sick. On top of that, she's being abused by those to whom she has given
everything. Lies about her abound, and seem to come from all sides.
Just breaks my heart. Seems there's nothing I can do alone. But maybe,
if we join in and lift her up together we can heal her. She's well
over 200 years old, but way too young to die. Her name is America ...
and I love her.

Gray Brigade

They like to refer to us as senior citizens, old fogies, geezers, and in some cases dinosaurs. Some of us are "baby boomers" getting ready to retire. Others have been retired for some time.

We walk a little slower these days and our eyes and hearing are not what they once were.

We have worked hard, raised our children, worshiped our God and grown old together. Yes, we are the ones some refer to as being over the hill and that is probably true. But before writing us off completely, there are a few things that need to be taken into consideration. In school we studied English, history, math, and science which enabled us to lead America into the technological age.

Most of us remember what outhouses were, many of us with firsthand experience. We remember the days of telephone party lines, 25 cent gasoline, and milk and ice being delivered to our homes. For those of you who don't know what an icebox is, today they are electric and referred to as refrigerators. A few even remember when cars were started with a crank. Yes, we lived those days.We are probably considered old fashioned and out-dated by many.

But there are a few things you need to remember before completely writing us off. We won World War II and fought in Korea and Vietnam. We can quote the pledge of allegiance, and know where to place our hand while doing so. We wore the uniform of our country with pride and lost many friends on the battlefield. We didn't fight for the Socialist States of America , we fought for the "Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave." We wore different uniforms but carried the same flag. We know the words to the 'Star Spangled Banner', 'America' , and 'America the Beautiful' by heart, and you may even see some tears running down our cheeks as we sing.

We have lived what many of you have only read about in history books and we feel no obligation to apologize to anyone for America.

Yes, we are old and slow these days but rest assured, we have at least one good fight left in us. We have loved this country, fought for it, and died for it, and now we are going to save it. It is our country and nobody is going to take it away from us. We took oaths to defend America against all enemies, foreign and domestic, and that is an oath we plan to keep. There are those who want to destroy this land we love but, like our founders, there is no way we are going to remain silent.

It was the young people of this nation who elected Obama and the Democrat Congress. You fell for the "hope and change" which in reality was nothing but "hype and lies." You have tasted Socialism and seen evil face to face, and have found you don't like it after all.

You make a lot of noise but most are all too interested in their careers or "climbing the social ladder" to be involved in such mundane things as patriotism and voting.

Many of those who fell for the "great lie" in 2008 are now having buyer's remorse. With all the education we gave you, you didn't have sense enough to see through the lies and instead drank the kool-aid.

Now you're paying the price and complaining about it.

No jobs, lost mortgages, higher taxes, and less freedom. This is what you voted for and this is what you got. We entrusted you with the 'Torch of Liberty' and you traded it for a paycheck and a fancy house.

Well, don't worry youngsters, the Gray-Haired Brigade is here, and on ELECTION DAY we are going to take back our nation.

We may drive a little slower than you would like but we get where we're going, and in November we're going to the polls by the millions.

This land does not belong to the liar in the White House or to Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. It belongs to "We the People", and "We the People" plan to reclaim our land and our freedom. We hope this time you will do a better job of preserving it and passing it along to our grandchildren.

So the next time you have the chance to say the Pledge of Allegiance, stand up, put your hand over your heart, honor our

country, and thank God for the old geezers of the "Gray-Haired Brigade."

Darius Miller back from China Kentuckysportsradio.com

Many of my readers may not know Darius Miller.  But he is a valuable Kentucky basketball senior who played with an international USA team which toured China this summer.  Alan cutler had these statements from Darius:

[Comments (5)] [link] Darius Miller talks China

by Matthew Hays @ 9:30 pm. Filed under Blue Blooded Opinions

Darius Miller is back stateside and he took some time to answer some questions about his time in China. Alan Cutler took some time to talk to Darius and get his thoughts on the Middle Kingdom. Here are some of the highlights:

At first he didn’t want to talk about the food in China.

“I feel like we take a lot of things for granted here, honestly. We couldn’t even drink the water in our rooms. I feel like a lot of people in the United States take things for granted so it really opens your eyes to see how fortunate we are to live here.”

As far as being a tourist.

“It was a very nice place where we were. They said the city we were in had about 20 million people in it and that there are about three cities that have 20 million people. The overall experience was just crazy.”

" ... There's a mousetrap in the house ..." Thanks Marge!

Subj: A Journey Called Life..worth the read

A mouse looked through the crack in the wall

to see the farmer and his wife open a package.

"What food might this contain?", the mouse wondered.

He was devastated to discover it was a mousetrap.

Retreating to the farmyard,

the mouse proclaimed this warning :

"There is a mousetrap in the house!

There is a mousetrap in the house!"

The chicken clucked and scratched,

raised her head and said, "Mr. Mouse,

I can tell this is a grave concern to you,

but it is of no consequence to me.

I cannot be bothered by it."

The mouse turned to the pig and told him,

"There is a mousetrap in the house!

There is a mousetrap in the house!"

The pig sympathized, but said,

"I am so very sorry, Mr. Mouse,

but there is nothing I can do about it

but pray..

Be assured you are in my prayers."

The mouse turned to the cow and said,

"There is a mousetrap in the house!

There is a mousetrap in the house!"

The cow said, "Wow, Mr. Mouse. I'm sorry for you,

but it's no skin off my nose."

> So, the mouse returned to the house,

head down and dejected,

to face the farmer's mousetrap

. . . Alone.. .. .

That very night

a sound was heard throughout the house

-- the sound of a mousetrap catching its prey.

The farmer's wife rushed to see what was caught.

In the darkness, she did not see it.

It was a venomous snake

whose tail was caught in the trap.

The snake bit the farmer's wife.

The farmer rushed her to the hospital.

When she returned home she still had a fever.

Everyone knows you treat a fever

with fresh chicken soup.

So the farmer took his hatchet to the farmyard

for the soup's main ingredient:

But his wife's sickness continued.

Friends and neighbours came to sit with her

around the clock.

To feed them, the farmer butchered the pig.

But, alas, the farmer's wife did not get well...

She died.

So many people came for her funeral

that the farmer had the cow slaughtered

to provide enough meat for all of them

for the funeral luncheon.

And the mouse looked upon it all

from his crack in the wall

with great sadness.

So, the next time you hear

someone is facing a problem

and you think it doesn't concern you,

remember ---

When one of us is threatened, we are all at risk.

We are all involved in this journey called life.

We must keep an eye out for one another

and make an extra effort

to encourage one another.

YOU MAY WANT TO SEND THIS

TO EVERYONE WHO HAS EVER

HELPED YOU OUT...

AND LET THEM KNOW

HOW IMPORTANT THEY ARE.

- REMEMBER -

EACH OF US IS A VITAL THREAD

IN ANOTHER PERSON'S TAPESTRY.

OUR LIVES ARE WOVEN TOGETHER

FOR A REASON.

One of the best things to hold onto

In this world is a FRIEND.

This is a good message! Have a great day

Did you know that when you carry the Bible, Satan has a headache; when you open it, he collapses; when he sees you reading it, he loses his strength; AND when you stand on the Word of God, Satan can't hurt you!

And did you also know... when you are about to forward this email to others, the devil will discourage you,

but forward it anyway.

Please pass it along because this country needs for Satan to take up residence somewhere else!!

Driving inm the rain ... thanks Tom & Carolyn!

Subject: FW: Driving in the rain ( This isn't a joke but good information to foll...

GOOD VISION IN A DOWNPOUR

How to achieve good vision while driving during a heavy downpour.

We are not sure why it is so effective; just try this method when it rains heavily. This method was given me by a Police friend who had experienced and confirmed it. It is useful....even driving at night. One method used by Canadian Military Drivers for years.

Most of the motorists would turn on HIGH or FASTEST SPEED of the wipers during heavy downpour, yet the visibility in front of the windshield is still bad......

In the event you face such a situation, just try your SUN GLASSES (any model will do), and miracle! All of a sudden, your visibility in front of your windshield is perfectly clear, as if there is no rain.

Make sure you always have a pair of SUN GLASSES in your car, as you are not only helping yourself to drive safely with good vision, but also might save your friend's life by giving him this idea..

Try it yourself and share it with your friends! Amazing, you still see the drops on the windshield, but not the sheet of rain falling.

You can see where the rain bounces off the road. It works to eliminate the "blindness" from passing semi's spraying you too.

Or the "kickup" if you are following a semi or car in the rain. They ought to teach that little tip in driver's training. It really does work..

And for a similar reason, why "Fog" lights must make WHITE light, or else are useless in FOG

Those YELLOW "FOG"lights are great in those blinding night SNOWstorms, and those big snowflakes become virtually invisible.

But YELLOW is useless in RAIN, FOG.

This next warning is a another good one! I wonder how many people know about this:

A 36 year old female had an accident several weeks ago and totaled her car. A resident of Kinburn , Ontario was traveling between Kinburn & Ottawa. It was raining, though not excessively, when her car suddenly began to hydro-plane and literally flew through the air. She was not seriously injured but very stunned at the sudden occurrence!

When she explained to the OPP Officer what had happened he told her something that every driver should know - NEVER DRIVE IN THE RAIN WITH YOUR CRUISE CONTROL ON . She thought she was being cautious by setting the cruise control and maintaining a safe consistent speed in the rain. But the Officer told her that if the cruise control is on when your car begins to hydro-plane and your tires lose contact with the pavement, your car will accelerate to a higher rate of speed making you take off like an airplane. She told the OPP Officer that was exactly what had occurred.

The Officer said this warning should be listed, on the driver's seat

sun-visor - NEVER USETHE CRUISE CONTROL WHEN

THE PAVEMENT IS WET OR ICY, along with the airbag warning. We tell our teenagers to set the cruise control and drive a safe speed - but we don't tell them to use the cruise control only when the pavement is dry.

The only person the accident victim found, who knew this (besides the officer), was a man who had a similar accident, totaled his car and sustained severe injuries.

NOTE: Some vehicles (like the Toyota Sienna Limited XLE) will not allow you to set the cruise control when the windshield wipers are on. If you send this to 15 people and only one of them doesn't know about this, then it was all worth it.. You might have saved a life.

The Gingham Dress ... Thanks Sarah DuPuy Rapp!

THE GINGHAM DRESS

A lady in a faded gingham dress and her husband, dressed in a homespun threadbare suit, stepped off the train in Boston, and walked timidly without an appointment into the Harvard University President's outer office.

The secretary could tell in a moment that such backwoods, country hicks had no business at Harvard & probably didn't even deserve to be in Cambridge.

"We'd like to see the president," the man said softly.

"He'll be busy all day," the secretary snapped.

"We'll wait," the lady replied.

For hours the secretary ignored them, hoping that the couple would finally become discouraged and go away.

They didn't, and the secretary grew frustrated and finally decided to disturb the president, even though it was a chore she always regretted.

"Maybe if you see them for a few minutes, they'll leave," she said to him!

He sighed in exasperation and nodded. Someone of his importance obviously didn't have the time to spend with them, and he detested gingham dresses and homespun suits cluttering up his outer office.

The president, stern faced and with dignity, strutted toward the couple.

The lady told him, "We had a son who attended Harvard for one year. He loved Harvard. He was happy here. But about a year ago, he was accidentally killed. My husband and I would like to erect a memorial to him, somewhere on campus."

The president wasn't touched. He was shocked. "Madam," he said, gruffly, "we can't put up a statue for every person who attended Harvard and died. If we did, this place would look like a cemetery."

"Oh, no," the lady explained quickly. "We don't want to erect a statue. We thought we would like to give a building to Harvard."

The president rolled his eyes. He glanced at the gingham dress and homespun suit, then exclaimed, "A building! Do you have any earthly idea how much a building costs? We have over seven and a half million dollars in the physical buildings here at Harvard."

For a moment the lady was silent. The president was pleased. Maybe he could get rid of them now.

The lady turned to her husband and said quietly, "Is that all it cost to start a university? Why don't we just start our own? " Her husband nodded. The president's face wilted in confusion and bewilderment.

Mr. and Mrs. Leland Stanford got up and walked away, traveling to Palo Alto, California where they established the university that bears their name, Stanford University, a memorial to a son that Harvard no longer cared about.

You can easily judge the character of others by how they treat those who they think can do nothing for them.

I wanted to share these with you, for as odd as it may sound I learned a thing or two from these>>

Thought you would also enjoy.

The English language has some wonderfully anthropomorphic collective nouns for the various groups of animals.

We are all familiar with a Herd of cows, a Flock of chickens, a School of fish and a Gaggle of geese.

However, less widely known is a Pride of lions, a Murder of crows (as well as their cousins the rooks and ravens), an Exaltation of doves and, presumably because they look so wise, a Parliament of owls.

Now consider a group of Baboons. They are the loudest, most dangerous, most obnoxious, most viciously aggressive and least intelligent of all primates. And what is the proper collective noun for a group of baboons?

Believe it or not ....... a Congress!

I guess that pretty much explains the things that come out of Washington!

Returning home ... Thanks Tom & Carolybn Lynch!

MAY GOD BLESS THIS AIRLINE CAPTAIN:

He writes: My lead flight attendant came to me and said, "We have an H.R. on this flight." (H.R. stands for human remains) "Are they military?" I asked.

"Yes", she said.

"Is there an escort?" I asked.

"Yes, I already assigned him a seat."

"Would you please tell him to come to the flight deck? You can board him early," I said.

A short while later, a young army sergeant entered the flight deck. He was the image of the perfectly dressed soldier. He introduced himself and I asked him about his soldier. The escorts of these fallen soldiers talk about them as if they are still alive and still with us.

"My soldier is on his way back to Virginia ," he said. He proceeded to answer my questions, but offered no words.

I asked him if there was anything I could do for him and he said no. I told him that he had the toughest job in the military and that I appreciated the work that he does for the families of our fallen soldiers. The first officer and I got up out of our seats to shake his hand. He left the flight deck to find his seat.

We completed our preflight checks, pushed back and performed an uneventful departure. About 30 minutes into our flight I received a call from the lead flight attendant in the cabin. "I just found out the family of the soldier we are carrying, is on board," she said. She then proceeded to tell me that the father, mother, wife and 2-year old daughter were escorting their son, husband, and father home. The family was upset because they were unable to see the container that the soldier was in before we left. We were on our way to a major hub at which the family was going to wait four hours for the connecting flight home to Virginia .

The father of the soldier told the flight attendant that knowing his son was below him in the cargo compartment and being unable to see him was too much for him and the family to bear. He had asked the flightattendant if there was anything that could be done to allow them to see him upon our arrival. The family wanted to be outside by the cargo door to watch the soldier being taken off the airplane. I could hear the desperation in the flight attendants voice when she asked me if there was anything I could do. "I'm on it," I said. I told her that I would get back to her.

Airborne communication with my company normally occurs in the form of e-mail like messages. I decided to bypass this system and contact my flight dispatcher directly on a secondary radio. There is a radio operator in the operations control center who connects you to the telephone of the dispatcher. I was in direct contact with the dispatcher. I explained the situation I had on board with the family and what it was the family wanted. He said he understood and that he would get back to me.

Two hours went by and I had not heard from the dispatcher. We were going to get busy soon and I needed to know what to tell the family. I sent a text message asking for an update. I saved the return message from the dispatcher and the following is the text:

"Captain, sorry it has taken so long to get back to you. There is policy on this now and I had to check on a few things. Upon your arrival a dedicated escort team will meet the aircraft. The team will escort the family to the ramp and plane side. A van will be used to load the remains with a secondary van for the family. The family will be taken to their departure area and escorted into the terminal where the remains can be seen on the ramp. It is a private area for the family only. When the connecting aircraft arrives, the family will be escorted onto the ramp and plane side to watch the remains being loaded for the final leg home. Captain, most of us here in flight control are veterans. Please pass our condolences on to the family. Thanks."

I sent a message back telling flight control thanks for a good job. I printed out the message and gave it to the lead flight attendant to pass on to the father. The lead flight attendant was very thankful and told me, "You have no idea how much this will mean to them."

Things started getting busy for the descent, approach and landing. After landing, we cleared the runway and taxied to the ramp area. The ramp is huge with 15 gates on either side of the alleyway. It is always a busy area with aircraft maneuvering every which way to enter and exit. When we entered the ramp and checked in with the ramp controller, we were told that all traffic was being held for us.

There is a team in place to meet the aircraft, we were told. It looked like it was all coming together, then I realized that once we turned the seat belt sign off, everyone would stand up at once and delay the family from getting off the airplane. As we approached our gate, I asked the copilot to tell the ramp controller we were going to stop short of the gate to make an announcement to the passengers. He did that and the ramp controller said, "Take your time."

I stopped the aircraft and set the parking brake. I pushed the public address button and said, "Ladies and gentleman, this is your Captain speaking I have stopped short of our gate to make a special announcement. We have a passenger on board who deserves our honor and respect. His Name is Private XXXXXX, a soldier who recently lost his life. Private XXXXXX is under your feet in the cargo hold. Escorting him today is Army Sergeant XXXXXXX. Also, on board are his father, mother, wife and daughter. Your entire flight crew is asking for all passengers to remain in their seats to allow the family to exit the aircraft first. Thank you."

We continued the turn to the gate, came to a stop and started our shutdown procedures. A couple of minutes later I opened the cockpit door. I found the two forward flight attendants crying, something you just do not see. I was told that after we came to a stop, every passenger on the aircraft stayed in their seats, waiting for the family to exit the aircraft.

When the family got up and gathered their things, a passenger slowly started to clap his hands. Moments later more passengers joined in and soon the entire aircraft was clapping. Words of God Bless You, I'm sorry, thank you, be proud, and other kind words were uttered to the family as they made their way down the aisle and out of the airplane. They were escorted down to the ramp to finally be with their loved one.

Many of the passengers disembarking thanked me for the announcement I had made. They were just words, I told them, I could say them over and over again, but nothing I say will bring back that brave soldier.

I respectfully ask that all of you reflect on this event and the sacrifices that millions of our men and women have made to ensure our freedom and safety in these United States of AMERICA .

Foot note:

I know every one who has served their country who reads this will have tears intheir eyes, including me.

Dispatch Forum page 2011 08 25 Cal Thomas

Cal has a good article "Don't expect Arab results to usher in freedom"  today.

" ... consistently finds that all (Arab states) are ruled by dictatorial regimes that oppress their people, deny basic freedoms of press, speech and due process and are intolerant of any faith other than Islam."  ... "in countries where Shariah Law is the legal standard (fruit) is rotten when it comes to tolerance, religious pluralism, a free and independent press and equal rights for women."

It is worthwhile reading.

Weddding ring and watch in repair ... Thanks Doug

CHECK THIS OUT AND VALIDATE FOR YOURSELVES...................

Wedding ring is in for repair

Since when does a plain wedding band need repairs, along with your watch, for a whole month?

Another piece falls into place. In a press conference last week Obama was not wearing his wedding ring nor was he wearing his watch.

When noticed, his staff said his ring was out for repairs. No reason was given for the missing watch.

So it's just a coincidence that Muslims are forbidden from wearing jewelry during the month of Ramadan Can't possibly be that, because although he hasn't gone to a Christian church service since entering the White House, we know he's a committed Christian "cause he said so during his campaign!" ...........And I've got a bridge to nowhere to sell you also.

This is the same president that spent the Christmas holidays in Hawaii to avoid religious obligations as PRESIDENT at the White House. His children do not receive Christmas presents.

Let's just face the facts and quit trying to distort the truth, we have a Muslim for president in the White House, and he has no knowledge of American history.

Hey guys, we're not paying attention, Muslims will soon rule the world. Put God first in your life and above all others. Regardless of who they are!

Please pass this on to believers of what is happening to our Great Nation and to those who are still in denial!!

If you see someone without a smile, give them yours!

George Will Dispatch forum page today- NJ Christie

Facts say that young people hardly read the newspapers today.

I am not young. but thankful for the Forum page which accompanies the Editorial page of the Dispatch.  Sure it has a lot of leftist drivel and cartoons, but I am inetersted in the product the Republicans pput forth to defeat our muslim president.

I like Perry, Palin, and Bachman in that order but Chris Christie looks to be a strong one if he could be convinced to run.

Comments: 0 Near the statehouse office of New Jersey’s 55th governor sits a sort of shrine to the 34th. Fortunately, Chris Christie is unlike Woodrow Wilson.

Christie, who resembles Falstaff in girth and Jack Dempsey in pugnacity, is a visceral politician who thrives on conflict. Wilson — lean, intellectual and pious — regarded opposition as impious.

Wilson acquired the governorship, his first elective office, in January 1911, having learned about government mostly from books he wrote about it. Eighteen months later he was the Democrats’ presidential nominee.

Christie’s only previous elective office was as county freeholder. But later, as the state’s only U.S. attorney, he learned a lot about New Jersey’s gamey political culture by prosecuting some of the participants. This unsentimental political education prepared him so well for the governorship that today, in his 20th month, he is being asked to seek the Republican presidential nomination.

He won’t. Here’s why.

He relishes being America’s most powerful governor. He wields a line-item veto, he can revise spending numbers, but only down, and can exercise a “conditional veto,” rewriting legislation and sending it back to the legislature for approval. The governor and the lieutenant governor, who run in tandem, are the only state officials elected statewide. The governor appoints the attorney general, treasurer, comptroller, all judges and all county prosecutors.

Understanding the first rule regarding political power — “use it or lose it” — he has flexed his institutional muscles. A legislature, he says, “is almost genetically predisposed to inaction.” To get it to move on his combative agenda for taming public-employee unions, he held 30 town meetings in nine months — almost one a week.

The Democratic leader of the state Senate has been an ally. Head of the local ironworkers union, he understands how much private-sector union members resent paying the taxes that fund the perquisites of public-sector unions.

This year the Democratic-controlled legislature has agreed to cutting benefits for 750,000 state employees and retirees, increasing current employees’ health-care and pension contributions, suspending cost-of-living increases and raising retirement ages. Projected savings: $120 billion over 30 years.

In the 10 years before Christie became governor, property taxes rose 70 percent, primarily to fund the public-employee costs that mayors say account for 75 percent of their costs. Previous state administrations had raised taxes 115 times in eight years. Christie vetoed a “millionaire’s” tax that the legislature said would raise $500 million, and with which the legislature proposed to fund $3 billion in spending. Christie says, “I almost wanted to sign it to see that magic happen.” The previous millionaire’s tax (which expired in 2009 and hit “millionaires” earning $400,000) followed the flight of $70 billion in wealth as “the rich,” including small businesses, left the state.

Taxing the rich is popular, but Christie told New Jersey: “If I let my foot off their throat on the millionaire’s tax, they’re coming after you with the gas tax.” That is, the 24-cent increase in the tax the legislature can’t get past him.

Christie was one of the first rocks on which Barack Obama’s overrated political potency crashed. In 2009, Obama campaigned for Gov. Jon Corzine and against Christie in July, October and the Sunday before Christie won handily. No one outside of Washington has made more political waves in the past 20 months than Christie.

But he has four children, ages 8 to 17, whom he will not abandon for presidential politics. When he visited a workaholic aide during her difficult labor before her daughter was born, he said, “Put away your BlackBerry, you are in the middle of a miracle.” As subtle as a linebacker, as direct as an uppercut, Christie, explaining why he will not run, demonstrates why many wish he would. When supporters argue, “You can’t say you’re not ready — look at Obama,” he replies: “Yeah, look at him.”

Darling, we are growing old ... Thanks Sarah Rapp!

I've read a few of these before, Sarah, but they become even more meaningful each day.  ;)

I didn't say YOU are getting older !

GETTING OLDER

A distraught senior citizen

phoned her doctor's office.

"Is it true," she wanted to know,

"that the medication

you prescribed has to be taken

for the rest of my life?"

"'Yes, I'm afraid so,"' the doctor told her.

There was a moment of silence

before the senior lady replied,

"I'm wondering, then,

just how serious is my condition

because this prescription is marked

'NO REFILLS'."

***********************

An older gentleman was

on the operating table

awaiting surgery

and he insisted that his son,

a renowned surgeon,

perform the operation.

As he was about to get the anesthesia,

he asked to speak to his son.

"Yes, Dad, what is it?"

"Don't be nervous, son;

do your best,

and just remember,

if it doesn't go well,

if something happens to me,

your mother

is going to come and

live with you and your wife...."

(I LOVE IT!)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Aging:
Eventually you will reach a point
when you stop lying about your age
and start bragging about it. This is so true. I love
to hear them say "you don't look that old."
---------------------------------
The older we get,
the fewer things
seem worth waiting in line for.
---------------------------------
Some people
try to turn back their odometers.
Not me!
I want people to know why
I look this way.
I've traveled a long way
and some of the roads weren't paved.
********************
When you are dissatisfied
and would like to go back to youth,
think of Algebra.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

You know you are getting old when

everything either dries up or leaks.

-------------------------------

One of the many things

no one tells you about aging

is that it is such a nice change

from being young.

~~~~~~~~~~~
Ah, being young is beautiful,
but being old is comfortable.
*********
First you forget names,
then you forget faces.
Then you forget to pull up your zipper...
it's worse when
you forget to pull it down.
````````````````

Two guys, one old, one young,

are pushing their carts around Wal-Mart

when they collide.

The old guy says to the young guy,

"Sorry about that. I'm looking for my wife,

and I guess I wasn't paying attention

to where I was going."

The young guy says, "That's OK, it's a coincidence.

I'm looking for my wife, too...

I can't find her and I'm getting a little desperate."

The old guy says, "Well,

maybe I can help you find her...

what does she look like?"

The young guy says,

"Well, she is 27 yrs. old, tall,

with red hair,

blue eyes, is buxom...wearing no bra,

long legs,

and is wearing short shorts.

What does your wife look like?'

To which the old guy says, "Doesn't matter,

--- let's look for yours."

(ADORABLE)

*********************

(And this final one especially for me,)

"Lord,

keep Your arm around my shoulder

and Your hand over my mouth!"

Fun- Transferred to Detroit Thanks Clay!

Transferred to Detroit !

On a flight getting ready to depart for Detroit ...

Jack was sitting on the plane when a guy took the seat beside him. The guy was an emotional wreck, pale, hands shaking,moaning in fear. "What's the matter?" Jack asked.

"I've been transferred to Detroit , there's crazy people there.

They've got lots of shootings, gangs, race riots, drugs, poorpublic schools, and the highest crime rate."

Jack replied, "I've lived in Detroit all my life. It's not as bad as the media says. Find a nice home, go to work, mind your own business, enroll your kids in a nice private school. It's assafe a place as anywhere in the world."

The guy relaxed and stopped shaking and said, "Oh, thank you.

I've been worried to death. But if you live there and say it's OK,

I'll take your word for it. What do you do for a living?"

"Me?" said Jack. "I'm a tail gunner on a Budweiser truck."

Fawn rescued ... Thanks Marge Rusnak and Nana!

On the Morning of May 18th 2011, my wife noticed a deer in our yard that appeared to be franticly looking for something in the rocks that form a wall on our property line in... Brush Prairie WA . When we first went out with our neighbors, we didn't see anything, but the deer wouldn't leave our yard. We went back to our house and watched, after a few minutes the deer came back.

We went out to the area the deer was concentrating on and could hear a baby fawn crying in the rocks. We moved some of the rocks and smaller boulders and saw a baby fawn's face among the rocks. He had apparently fallen into a crawl through in one of the gaps and was now trapped. The larger boulders were too heavy to move and we didn't want to have the rocks cave in on the baby deer.

We finally called our Clark County Fire District 3. The B Shift team came out and they were able to move the larger rocks out of the way with the Jaws of Life; enough to be able to reach in and pull the baby fawn out and reunited it with its momma. The fawn was probably stuck in there most of the night and quickly went to nurse off its momma. One of our neighbors took some video clips of the Fire Department's rescue. I edited the clips into this short clip. After sharing it with some friends they thought that it was just too cute not to share with more people so my neighbors agreed to let me upload the final clip. Enjoy......

It is no secret what God can do ... Thanks Nita Eelliott!

Subject: Fw: IT IS NO SECRET WHAT GOD CAN DO

It's a wonderful 'secret'.

The adventure would be in adjusting to change, rather than hanging onto the security of the past, which didn't work as well.

THE Secret

The Secret

One day, one friend asked another,

'Why is it that you are always so happy?

You have so much energy,

And you never seem to get down.. '

With her eyes smiling, she said,

' I know the Secret! '

' What secret is that? '

To which she replied,

I'll tell you all about it,

But you have to promise to

Share the Secret with others. '

' The Secret is this:

I have learned there is little I can do

In my life that will make me truly happy

I must depend on God to make

Me happy and to meet my needs.

When a need arises in my life,

I have to trust God to supply

According to HIS riches.

I have learned most of the time

I don ‘ t need half of what I think I do.

He has never let me down.

Since I learned that ' Secret ' , I am happy.'

The questioner ' s first thought was,

' That ' s too simple! '

But upon reflecting over her own life

She recalled how she thought a bigger house

Would make her happy, but it didn't!

She thought a better paying job

Would make her happy, but it hadn't.

When did she realize her greatest happiness?

Sitting on the floor with her grandchildren,

Playing games, eating pizza or reading a story,

A simple gift from God.

Now you know it too!

We can't depend on people to make us happy.

Only GOD in His infinite wisdom can do that.

Trust HIM!

And now I pass the Secret on to you!

So once you get it, what will you do?

YOU have to tell someone the Secret, too!

That GOD in His wisdom will take care of YOU!

But it ' s not really a secret...

We just have to believe it and do it..

Really trust God!

I just did and hope you will too.

LETS PRAY

Father in the name of Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God, I pray you open doors for the person who sent me this as well as those I am sending it to. Only you can open doors no man can close and for that we honour you today. Thank you for the open doors of life, health, strength, prosperity, wealth, and love. Also, thank you for closing the doors of death, sickness, weakness, despair, poverty, and bitterness. We love you today Lord and give you all the glory and all the praise. I seal this prayer in Jesus name, Amen!!!

God closes doors no man can open & God opens doors no man can close.

Even if you do not need God to open some doors for you, pass it on anyway.

Grey-haired brigade! Thanks Nita Elliott!

Grey-Haired Brigade

They like to refer to us as senior citizens, old fogies, geezers, and in some cases dinosaurs. Some of us are "Baby Boomers" getting ready to retire. Others have been retired for some time. We walk a little slower these days and our eyes and hearing are not what they once were.

We have worked hard, raised our children, worshipped our God and grown old together. Yes, we are the ones some refer to as being over the hill, and that is probably true. But before writing us off completely, there are a few things that need to be taken into consideration.

In school we studied English, history, math, and science which enabled us to lead America into the technological age. Most of us remember what outhouses were, many of us with firsthand experience. We remember the days of telephone party-lines, 25 cent gasoline, and milk and ice being delivered to our homes. For those of you who don't know what an icebox is, today they are electric and referred to as refrigerators. A few even remember when cars were started with a crank. Yes, we lived those days.

We are probably considered old fashioned and out-dated by many. But there are a few things you need to remember before completely writing us off. We won World War II, fought in Korea and Viet Nam . We know the words to the Star Spangled Banner, America , and America the Beautiful by heart, and you may even see some tears running down our cheeks as we sing. We have lived what many of you have only read about in history books and we feel no obligation to apologize to anyone for America ..

It was the young people of this nation who elected Obama and the Democratic Congress.

You fell for the "Hope and Change" which in reality was nothing but "Hype and Lies." You have tasted socialism and seen evil face to face, and have found you don't like it after all. You make a lot of noise, but most are all too interested in their careers or "Climbing the Social Ladder" to be involved in such mundane things as patriotism and voting. Many of those who fell for the "Great Lie" in 2008 are now having buyer's remorse. With all the education we gave you, you didn't have sense enough to see through the lies and instead drank the 'Cool-Aid.' Now you're paying the price and complaining about it. No jobs, lost mortgages, higher taxes, and less freedom. This is what you voted for and this is what you got. We entrusted you with the Torch of Liberty and you traded it for a paycheck and a fancy house.

Well, don't worry youngsters, the Grey Haired Brigade is here, and in 2012 we are going to take back our nation. We may drive a little slower than you would like but we get where we're going, and in 2012 we're going to the polls by the millions. This land does not belong to the man in the White House nor to the likes of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. It belongs to "We the People" and "We the People" plan to reclaim our land and our freedom. We hope this time you will do a better job of preserving it and passing it along to our grandchildren. So the next time you have the chance to say the Pledge of Allegiance, Stand up, put your hand over your heart, honor our country, and thank God for the old geezers of the "Grey-Haired Brigade."

~Author, Anon. Grey-Haired Brigade Member

I am another Gray Haired Geezer signing on. Come on guys. Let’s get this circulating around.

After reviewing acknowledgments of God from all 50 state constitutions, one is faced with the prospect that maybe, the ACLU and the out-of-control federal courts are wrong! If you found this to be 'Food for thought' send to as many as you think will be enlightened as I hope you were.

(Please note that at no time is anyone told that they MUST worship God.)

Happy Sunday Morning! Thanks Pat Whitehead!

Shoes in church

I showered and shaved.............. I adjusted my tie.

I got there and sat.............. In a pew just in time.

Bowing my head in prayer......... As I closed my eyes..

I saw the shoe of the man next to me..... Touching my own. I sighed.

With plenty of room on either side...... I thought, 'Why must our soles touch?'

It bothered me, his shoe touching mine... But it didn't bother him much.

A prayer began: 'Our Father'............. I thought, 'This man with the shoes, has no pride.

They're dusty, worn, and scratched. Even worse, there are holes on the side!'

'Thank You for blessings,' the prayer went on.

The shoe man said............... A quiet 'Amen.'

I tried to focus on the prayer....... But my thoughts were on his shoes again.

Aren't we supposed to look our best, When walking through that door?

'Well, this certainly isn't it,' I thought, Glancing toward the floor..

Then the prayer was ended........... And the songs of praise began.

The shoe man was certainly loud..... Sounding proud as he sang.

His voice lifted the rafters........ His hands were raised high.

The Lord could surely hear. The shoe man's voice from the sky.

It was time for the offering...... And what I threw in was steep.

I watched as the shoe man reached.... Into his pockets so deep.

I saw what was pulled out............ What the shoe man put in.

Then I heard a soft 'clink' . As when silver hits tin.

The sermon really bored me............ To tears, and that's no lie.

It was the same for the shoe man.... For tears fell from his eyes.

At the end of the service...... As is the custom here.

We must greet new visitors, And show them all good cheer.

But I felt moved somehow.............. And wanted to meet the shoe man.

So after the closing prayer........ I reached over and shook his hand.

He was old and his skin was dark.... And his hair was truly a mess.

But I thanked him for coming......... For being our guest.

He said, 'My names' Charlie............ I'm glad to meet you, my friend.'

There were tears in his eyes........ But he had a large, wide grin.

'Let me explain,' he said.......... Wiping tears from his eyes.

'I've been coming here for months.... And you're the first to say 'Hi.''

'I know that my appearance............'Is not like all the rest.

'But I really do try.................'To always look my best.'

'I always clean and polish my shoes..'Before my very long walk.

'But by the time I get here..........'They're dirty and dusty, like chalk.'

My heart filled with pain.......... And I swallowed to hide my tears.

As he continued to apologize........... For daring to sit so near.

He said, 'When I get here..............'I know I must look a sight.

'But I thought if I could touch you..'Then maybe our souls might unite.'

I was silent for a moment........... Knowing whatever was said

Would pale in comparison... I spoke from my heart, not my head.

'Oh, you've touched me,' I said......'And taught me, in part,

'That the best of any man...............'Is what is found in his heart.'

The rest, I thought,..................... This shoe man will never know.

Like just how thankful I really am... That his dirty old shoe touched my soul

You are special to me and you have made a difference in my life.

I respect you, and truly cherish you.

Send this to your friends,

No matter how often you talk,

Or how close you are,

And send it to the person who sent it to you.

Irish jokes ... Thanks Clay Vice!

A man entered the bus with both of his front pockets full of golf balls and sat down next to a beautiful (you guessed it) blonde.

The puzzled blonde kept looking at him and his bulging pockets.

Finally, after many such glances from her, he said, 'It's golf balls'.

Nevertheless, the blonde continued to look at him for a very long time, deeply thinking about what he had said.

After several minutes, not being able to contain her curiosity any longer, she asked;

'Does it hurt as much as tennis elbow?'

Paddy goes to the vet with his goldfish.

"I think it's got epilepsy" he tells the vet.

Vet takes a look and says "It seems calm enough to me".

Paddy says, "I haven't taken it out of the bowl yet".

------------ --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --

Paddy shouts frantically into the phone "My wife is pregnant and her contractions are only two minutes apart!"

"Is this her first child?" asks the Doctor.

"No", shouts Paddy, "this is her husband!"

------------ --------- --------- --------- --------- ---------

Paddy was driving home, drunk as a skunk, suddenly he has to swerve to avoid a tree, then another, then another.

A cop car pulls him over as he veers about all over the road.

Paddy tells the cop about all the trees in the road.

Cop says "For gods sake Paddy, that's your air freshener swinging about!"

An old Irish farmer's dog goes missing and he's inconsolable.

His wife says "Why don't you put an advert in the paper?"

He does, but two weeks later the dog is still missing.

"What did you put in the paper?" his wife asks.

"Here boy" he replies.

Paddy's in jail. Guard looks in his cell and sees him hanging by his feet.

"What the hell you doing?" he asks.

"Hanging myself" Paddy replies.

"It should be around your neck" says the Guard.

"I know" says Paddy "but I couldn't breathe".

An answer I can understand. An American tourist asks an Irishman: "Why do Scuba divers always fall backwards off their boats?"

To which the Irishman replies: "If they fell forwards, they'd still be in the bloody boat ."

Roadside traps ... Thanks Marge Rusnak!

I don't know if these particular stories are true but we do hear about these types of things happening so we can at least be reminded to be aware and use caution.

A MESSAGE FROM THE OFFICE OF ATTORNEY GENERAL

STATE OF MISSISSIPPI , JACKSON , MS ....

SITUATION...

While driving on a rural end of the roadway on Thursday morning, I saw

an infant car seat on the side of the road with a blanket draped over it.

For whatever reason, I did not stop, even though I had all kinds of

thoughts running through my head. But when I got to my destination, I

called the Canton PD and they were going to check it out. But, this is

what the Police advised even before they went out there to check....

"There are several things to be aware of ... gangs and thieves are now

plotting different ways to get a person (mostly women) to stop their

vehicle and get out of the car.

"There is a gang initiation reported by the local Police Department

where gangs are placing a car seat by the road...with a fake baby in

it...waiting for a woman, of course, to stop and check on the abandoned

baby.

"Note that the location of this car seat is usually beside a wooded or

grassy (field) area and the person -- woman -- will be dragged into the

woods, beaten and raped, and usually left for dead. If it's a man,

they're usually beaten and robbed and maybe left for dead, too.

DO NOT STOP FOR ANY REASON!!! DIAL 9-1-1 AND REPORT WHAT YOU SAW, BUT DON 'T EVEN SLOW DOWN.

"IF YOU ARE DRIVING AT NIGHT AND EGGS ARE THROWN AT YOUR WINDSHIELD, DO

NOT STOP TO CHECK THE CAR, DO NOT OPERATE THE WIPER AND DO NOT SPRAY ANY

WATER BECAUSE EGGS MIXED WITH WATER BECOME MILKY AND BLOCK YOUR VISION UP TO 92.5%, AND YOU ARE THEN FORCED TO STOP BESIDE THE ROAD AND BECOME A VICTIM OF THESE CRIMINALS.

THIS IS A NEW TECHNIQUE USED BY GANGS, SO PLEASE INFORM YOUR FRIENDS AND RELATIVES.

THESE ARE DESPERATE TIMES AND THESE ARE UNSAVORY INDIVIDUALS WHO WILL

TAKE DESPERATE MEASURES TO GET WHAT THEY WANT."

Please talk to your loved ones about this. This is a new tactic used. Please be safe.

Get started NOW -- SEND THIS MESSAGE TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS AND LOVED ONES

TO BE CAREFUL AND AWARE OF EVERYTHING AROUND THEM SO AS NOT TO BECOME A VICTIM.

WARNING # 2

Some knew about the red light on cars, but not the112.

It was about 1:00 p.m. in the afternoon, and Lauren was driving to visit a friend. An UNMARKED police car pulled up behind her and put his lights on. Lauren's parents have always told her never to pull over for an unmarked car on the side of the road, but rather to wait until they get to a gas station, etc.

Lauren had actually listened to her parents advice, and promptly called112 on her cell phone to tell the police dispatcher she would not pull over right away. She proceeded to tell the dispatcher there was an unmarked police car with a flashing red light on his rooftop behind her. The dispatcher checked to see if there were police cars where she was and there weren't, and he told her to keep driving, remain calm and he had back up already on the way.

Ten minutes later 4 cop cars surrounded her and the unmarked car behind her. One policeman went to her side and the others surrounded the car behind. They pulled the guy from the car and tackled him to the ground. The man was a convicted rapist and wanted for other crimes.

I never knew about the 112 Cell Phone feature, but especially for a woman alone in a car, you should not pull over for an unmarked car. Apparently police have to respect your right to keep going to a safe place.

*Speaking to a service representative at Bell Mobility confirmed that 112 was a direct link to State trooper info. So, now it's your turn to let your friends know about 112.

You may want to send this to every woman (and man) you know; it may save a life.

This applies to ALL 50 states

PLEASE PASS ALONG TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY, IT CAN SAVE A LIFE.

Luke 10:19 Behold, i have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you. EMT'S words to live by.
