For Christian American readers of this blog:

I wish to incite all Christians to rise up and take back the United States of America with all of God's manifold blessings. We want the free allowance of the Bible and prayers allowed again in schools, halls of justice, and all governing bodies. We don't seek a theocracy until Jesus returns to earth because all men are weak and power corrupts the very best of them.
We want to be a kinder and gentler people without slavery or condescension to any.

The world seems to be in a time of discontent among the populace. Christians should not fear. God is Love, shown best through Jesus Christ. God is still in control. All Glory to our Creator and to our God!

A favorite quote from my good friend, Jack Plymale, which I appreciate:

"Wars are planned by old men,in council rooms apart. They plan for greater armament, they map the battle chart, but: where sightless eyes stare out, beyond life's vanished joys, I've noticed, somehow, all the dead and mamed are hardly more than boys(Grantland Rice per our mutual friend, Sarah Rapp)."

Thanks Jack!

I must admit that I do not check authenticity of my posts. If anyone can tell me of a non-biased arbitrator, I will attempt to do so more regularly. I know of no such arbitrator for the internet.

Hubris ... Well put, Mr. Walters!

---------- Forwarded message ----------

Doesn't this say it all!

Hubris ( /?hjuːbr?s/), also hybris, means extreme haughtiness, pride or arrogance. Hubris often indicates a loss of contact with reality and an overestimation of one's own competence or capabilities, especially when the person exhibiting it is in a position of power.

WHAT A DIFFERENCE

George W. Bush speech after capture of Saddam Hussein:

The success of yesterday's mission is a tribute to our men and women now serving in Iraq .

The operation was based on the superb work of intelligence analysts who found the

dictator's footprints in a vast country. The operation was carried out with skill and precision by

a brave fighting force. Our servicemen and women and our coalition allies have faced many

dangers in the hunt for members of the fallen regime, and in their effort to bring hope and

freedom to the Iraqi people. Their work continues, and so do the risks. Today, on behalf of the

nation, I thank the members of our Armed Forces and I congratulate 'them.

Barack Hussein Obama speech, Sunday, May 1, 2011:

And so shortly after taking office,  I  directed Leon Panetta, the director of the CIA, to make the killing or capture of bin Laden the top priority of our war against al Qaeda, even as  I  continued our broader efforts to disrupt, dismantle, and defeat his network.

Then, last August, after years of painstaking work by  my  intelligence community,  I  was briefed on a possible lead to bin Laden. It was far from certain, and it took many months to run this thread to ground.  I  met repeatedly with mynational security team as  we  developed more information about the possibility that  we  had located bin Laden hiding within a compound deep inside of Pakistan. And finally, last week,  I  determined that  I  had enough intelligence to take action, and authorized an operation to get Osama bin Laden and bring him to justice.

Today, at  my   direction, the United States launched a targeted operation against that compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan.

2012 o stimulous package Thanks anonymous friend!

Just wanted to let you know - today I received my 2012 Obama Stimulus Package. It contained two watermelon seeds, cornbread mix, and 10 KFC coupons. The directions were in Spanish.

Hope you get yours soon.

Obama's approval ratings are so low, Kenyans are accusing him of being born in the United States!

Flat tax and Tort Reform

I don't even hear the wonderful Tea Party establishment talking about the political steps we should be taking.  Neither Rush Limbaugh nor Glenn Beck are saying:

1.)  It is time for the flat tax:
Match our national payouts to national income plus sufficient to pay down our horrendous debt.  A flat tax would put a percentage tax on each individual and a slightly higher one on corporations.  Just recently, I heard a radio commentary that Russia has a 13% individual and a 17% corporate flat tax rate.  Being flat tax, it has NO deductions.  To be sure that isn't a popular thing with your country's lawyers.

2.) Tort Reform:
One citizen or corporation should have a ceiling limit on the amount of 'damages' for a claimed offense in suing another citizen or entity.  Good conservative politicos should establish the limits.

3.)  Vote out of office any liberals.  Grade them 1 to 10 in liberalism or conservatism.  I would not vote for any that graded out better than 2.5 liberal.

Islamic fascists are taking this world into the devil's lair and we are pussy-footing around with them.  Thank God for the volunteer service people risking their lives and limbs for our freedom.  I would hope no more of us would fall for the devil in our White House or those Hollywooders with nothing in their heads except their liberal gossip.  In my mind, they are un-American and they have become supporters of the Islamic fascist causes.

Outstandingly re-cyclable, Sarah Rapp! For ALL!

My Son

This is great. Take a moment to read it; it will make your day!

The ending will surprise you.

Take my Son.....

A wealthy man and his son loved to collect rare works of art. They had everything in their collection, from Picasso to Raphael. They would often sit together and admire the great works of art..

When the Vietnam conflict broke out, the son went to war. He was very courageous and died in battle while rescuing another soldier. The father was notified and grieved deeply for his only son.

About a month later, just before Christmas, there was a knock at the door. A young man stood at the door with a large package in his hands..

He said, 'Sir, you don't know me, but I am the soldier for whom your son gave his life. He saved many lives that day, and he was carrying me to safety when a bullet struck him in the heart and he died instantly.... He often talked about you, and your love for art.' The young man held out this package. 'I know this isn't much. I'm not really a great artist, but I think your son would have wanted you to have this.'

The father opened the package. It was a portrait of his son, painted by the young man. He stared in awe at the way the soldier had captured the personality of his son in the painting. The father was so drawn to the eyes that his own eyes welled up with tears. He thanked the young man and offered to pay him for the picture.. 'Oh, no sir, I could never repay what your son did for me. It's a gift..'

The father hung the portrait over his mantle. Every time visitors came to his home he took them to see the portrait of his son before he showed them any of the other great works he had collected.

The man died a few months later. There was to be a great auction of his paintings. Many influential people gathered, excited over seeing the great paintings and having an opportunity to purchase one for their collection.

On the platform sat the painting of the son. The auctioneer pounded his gavel. 'We will start the bidding with this picture of the son. Who will bid for this picture?'

There was silence...

Then a voice in the back of the room shouted, 'We want to see the famous paintings. Skip this one.'

But the auctioneer persisted. 'Will somebody bid for this painting? Who will start the bidding? $100, $200?'

Another voice angrily. 'We didn't come to see this painting. We came to see the Van Gogh'S, the Rembrandts. Get on with the Real bids!'

But still the auctioneer continued. 'The son! The son! Who'll take the son?'

Finally, a voice came from the very back of the room. It was the longtime gardener of the man and his son. 'I'll give $10 for the painting...' Being a poor man, it was all he could afford..

'We have $10, who will bid $20?'

'Give it to him for $10. Let's see the masters.'

The crowd was becoming angry. They didn't want the picture of the son..

They wanted the more worthy investments for their collections.

The auctioneer pounded the gavel.. 'Going once, twice, SOLD for $10!'

A man sitting on the second row shouted, 'Now let's get on with the collection!'

The auctioneer laid down his gavel. 'I'm sorry, the auction is over..'

'What about the paintings?'

'I am sorry. When I was called to conduct this auction, I was told of a secret stipulation in the will... I was not allowed to reveal that stipulation until this time. Only the painting of the son would be auctioned. Whoever bought that painting would inherit the entire estate, including the paintings.

The man who took the son gets everything!'

God gave His son over 2,000 years ago to die on the Cross. Much like the auctioneer, His message today is: 'The Son, the Son, who'll take the Son?'

Because, you see, whoever takes the Son gets everything!

FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, WHO SO EVER BELIEVETH, SHALL HAVE ETERNAL LIFE...THAT'S LOVE

Please send this to ten people and back to the one who sent it to you..

God Bless.

If I don't get this back, I will know you really didn't read it. I got this from someone and thought the last part was really a good thought..

Right foot direction Thanks Marge Rusnak!

Oh, go on, give it a try and have some fun.................. ;)

It works with the left foot also Marge, but not as smoothly.  But now my brain is addled, if not always.  Try three sixes and it just confuses things.  Is this satanic?
