For Christian American readers of this blog:

I wish to incite all Christians to rise up and take back the United States of America with all of God's manifold blessings. We want the free allowance of the Bible and prayers allowed again in schools, halls of justice, and all governing bodies. We don't seek a theocracy until Jesus returns to earth because all men are weak and power corrupts the very best of them.
We want to be a kinder and gentler people without slavery or condescension to any.

The world seems to be in a time of discontent among the populace. Christians should not fear. God is Love, shown best through Jesus Christ. God is still in control. All Glory to our Creator and to our God!

A favorite quote from my good friend, Jack Plymale, which I appreciate:

"Wars are planned by old men,in council rooms apart. They plan for greater armament, they map the battle chart, but: where sightless eyes stare out, beyond life's vanished joys, I've noticed, somehow, all the dead and mamed are hardly more than boys(Grantland Rice per our mutual friend, Sarah Rapp)."

Thanks Jack!

I must admit that I do not check authenticity of my posts. If anyone can tell me of a non-biased arbitrator, I will attempt to do so more regularly. I know of no such arbitrator for the internet.

Car can drive sideways ... Thx Marge R! A wonderful contributor to my blog!

Tech

This tiny car can change shape, drive sideways

Why do we call the Mercedes Benz Smart Car smart — when it's really just small?
A truly smart car might be able to drive sideways, like the equally tiny, shape shifting EO Smart Connecting Car 2.
research project from the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence, the EO 2 is designed for crowded cities where rush hours are nightmares and parking in nearly non-existent.
Though just a prototype, the EO 2 gives ample evidence of how some of its innovations could lead to truly smart, even flexible cars.
Painted white and featuring large windows and butterfly doors, the all-electric EO 2 looks like the future. It drives like the future, too.
All four of EO 2's wheel's can rotate 90 degrees, so that they're perpendicular to the car's body. This allows the vehicle to not only spin in a perfect circle, but when the wheels are fully turned, drive sideways.
Cars capable of this feat could mean the end of parallel parking.
EO 2 changes shape

Even if you are an expert parker, sometimes the spot is too small for even a smart car. At roughly 1,653 lb. (about the same weight as a Smart car), the EO 2 can compress its body, with the panels sliding up and slightly over each other in a sort of crab or armadillo move.
Its body size shrinks down from 8.2 ft. to 4.9 ft., while keeping all four wheels on the ground.
Next up, the German researchers want to reinvent commuting again with a concept they call "Platoon." Each of the EO 2 cars is designed to connect to another EO 2, creating a sort of train of cars.
The benefit is that drivers in the connected EO 2 Platoon can take their hands off the wheel; the electric car goes into fully autonomous mode.
No word for now on when, or if, the eventually self-drivng EO 2 will come to consumers. Mashable contacted the developers in Germany and will update this post with their response.

We didn't have the 'green thing' back then! ... Thx again Marge R!

Plastic Bags - Read this

Checking out at the store, the young cashier suggested to the much older lady that she should bring her own grocery bags, because plastic bags are not good for the environment.
The woman apologized to the young girl and explained, "We didn't have this 'green thing' back in my earlier days."
The young clerk responded, "That's our problem today. Your generation did not care enough to save our environment for future generations."
The older lady said that she was right -- our generation didn't have the "green thing" in its day. The older lady went on to explain:
Back then, we returned milk bottles, soda bottles and beer bottles to the store. The store sent them back to the plant to be washed and sterilized and refilled, so it could use the same bottles over and over.    So they really were recycled. But we didn't have the "green thing" back in our day.
Grocery stores bagged our groceries in brown paper bags that we reused for numerous things. Most memorable besides household garbage bags was the use of brown paper bags as book covers for our school books. This was to ensure that public property (the books provided for our use by the school) was not defaced by our scribblings. Then we were able to personalize our books on the brown paper bags. But, too bad we didn't do the "green thing" back then.
We walked up stairs because we didn't have an escalator in every store and office building. We walked to the grocery store and didn't climb into a 300-horsepower machine every time we had to go two blocks. But she was right. We didn't have the "green thing" in our day.
Back then we washed the baby's diapers because we didn't have the throw away kind. We dried clothes on a line, not in an energy-gobbling machine burning up 220 volts. Wind and solar power really did dry our clothes back in our early days. Kids got hand-me-down clothes from their brothers or sisters, not always brand-new clothing.
But that young lady is right; we didn't have the "green thing" back in our day.
Back then we had one TV, or radio, in the house -- not a TV in every room. And the TV had a small screen the size of a handkerchief (remember them?), not a screen the size of the state of Montana. In the kitchen we blended and stirred by hand because we didn't have electric machines to do everything for us. When we packaged a fragile item to send in the mail, we used wadded up old newspapers to cushion it, not Styrofoam or plastic bubble wrap. Back then, we didn't fire up an engine and burn gasoline just to cut the lawn. We used a push mower that ran on human power. We exercised by working so we didn't need to go to a health club to run on treadmills that operate on electricity.
But she's right; we didn't have the "green thing" back then.
We drank from a fountain when we were thirsty instead of using a cup or a plastic bottle every time we had a drink of water. We refilled writing pens with ink instead of buying a new pen, and we replaced the razor blade in a r azor instead of throwing away the whole razor just because the blade got dull.
But we didn't have the "green thing" back then.
Back then, people took the streetcar or a bus and kids rode their bikes to school or walked instead of turning their moms into a 24-hour taxi service in the family's $45,000 SUV or van, which cost what a whole house did before the"green thing." We had one electrical outlet in a room, not an entire bank of sockets to power a dozen appliances. And we didn't need a computerized gadget to receive a signal beamed from satellites 23,000 miles out in space in order to find the nearest burger joint.
But isn't it sad the current generation laments how wasteful we old folks were just because we didn't have the "green thing" back then?
Please forward this on to another selfish old person who needs a lesson in conservation from a smart ass young person.
We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to p_ _s us off... Especially from a tattooed, multiple pierced smartass who can't make change without the cash register telling them how much.

Post- American World ... Thx Marge R! ... We know o has done all he can to destroy our once great country. Please vote conservative in 2016!

It was reported that Barack Obama was furious that

The name of the book Obama is holding is
called: The Post-American World.
It was written by a fellow Muslim (Fareed

"After" America !"
If each person sends this to a minimum of

Donald sinks himself ... SamKat rant! Be careful in picking the best republican candidate, Tea Party people!

Since Donald Trump announced his presidential candidacy, a groundswell has taken him to the top of the polls very quickly. I sort of endorsed him in a recent rant of mine.  Both the "in democrats and republicans" have been after him as well as the other republican declared candidates.  But, he relished his role, a little too much.  His own words have sunk him as a candidate and I believe it is a shame.

I don't know what hero John McCain did to arouse Donnie's anger, but Trump spoke out too quickly in denouncing McCain's heroism as a prisoner of war.  I say Donald had a "hissy-fit".   Kinda like Harry Truman, one the country's best representatives as PUSA when the far-left liberal press denounced his daughter, Beth's, piano playing. But far more serious and loose-tongued by Trump.  If we must forget Trump's candidacy, let us not forget all the truisms he has spouted about this corrupt administration and the leftist secular progressive democrats.  Many over stayed republicans have gone too far across the aisle to support the left.  Get in, help out, and get out.  Go home and become American citizens' again.  I don't count much, but that is a criticism of McCain I make.  God bless John as a true American hero!

I will, and I urge all seniors and all conservatives, to vote in 2016 to rid the Demos in our government!

Be careful in picking the republican candidate, but anything is better than demos in control now in the current administration!

I am a Tea Party guy who must vote republican in our only two-party system.

Wake up Amurica!

o releases top Iranian scientist in "the deal" that let America down ... Thx Marge R! A prized contributor to my SamKat blog

BREAKING: Obama Released TOP IRANIAN SCIENTIST as Part of Nuke Deal; Left Americans to Rot in Hell

Jim Hoft Jul 18th, 2015 12:09 am 94 Comments
On Wednesday Barack Obama lashed out at CBS reporter Major Garrett after he asked him about the four Americans left behind to languish in Iranian prisons.
http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/wp-content/uploads/iran-prison-americans.jpg
Former Marine Amir Hekmati, Saeed Abedini and Vahid Salemi are being held in Iranian prisons. (Breitbart)
Obama was defending his nuclear deal with Iran when Garrett asked him about the US hostages in Iran.
Obama: I got to give you credit Major for how you craft those questions. the notion that I’m content as I celebrate with American citizens languishing in Iranian jails. … Major, that’s nonsense and you should know better.
Of course, that is exactly what he did.
The Obama administration did nothing to free American hostages during their talks with the Iranian regime.

Now we know…
Obama released a top Iranian scientist as part of the deal but left the Americans to rot in hell in Iranian prisons.
The Times of Israel reported:
Mojtaba Atarodi, arrested in California for attempting to acquire equipment for Iran’s military-nuclear programs, was released in April as part of back channel talks, Times of Israel told. The contacts, mediated in Oman for years by close colleague of the Sultan, have seen a series of US-Iran prisoner releases, and there may be more to come.
The secret back channel of negotiations between Iran and the United States, which led to this month’s interim deal in Geneva on Iran’s rogue nuclear program, has also seen a series of prisoner releases by both sides, which have played a central role in bridging the distance between the two nations, the Times of Israel has been told.
In the most dramatic of those releases, the US in April released a top Iranian scientist, Mojtaba Atarodi, who had been arrested in 2011 for attempting to acquire equipment that could be used for Iran’s military-nuclear programs.
No wonder he didn’t want reporters talking about it!

Secular progressives still don't get the "USA" ... Thx Paul C!

The typical U.S.  household headed by a person age 65 or older has a net worth 47 times greater than a household headed by someone under 35, according to an analysis of census data released Monday.
They like to refer to us as senior citizens, old fogies, geezers, and in some cases dinosaurs.  Some of us are "Baby Boomers" getting ready to retire.  Others have been retired for some time.  We walk a little slower these days and our eyes and hearing are not what they once were.  We worked hard, raised our children, worshiped our God and grown old together.
Yes, we are the ones some refer to as being over the hill, and that is probably true.  But before writing us off completely, there are a few things that need to be taken into consideration.
In school we studied English, history, math, and science which enabled us to lead America into the technological age.  Most of us remember what outhouses were, many of us with firsthand experience.  We remember the days of telephone party-lines, 25 cent gasoline, and milk and ice being delivered to our homes.  For those of you who don't know what an icebox is, today they are electric and referred to as refrigerators.  A few even remember when cars were started with a crank.  Yes, we lived those days.
We are probably considered old fashioned and out-dated by many.  But there are a few things you need to remember before completely writing us off.  We won World War II, fought in Korea and Viet Nam.  We can quote The Pledge of Allegiance, and know where to place our hand while doing so.  We wore the uniform of our country with pride and lost many friends on the battlefield.  We didn't fight for the Socialist States of America ; we fought for the "Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave." We wore different uniforms but carried the same flag.  We know the words to the Star Spangled Banner, America, and America the Beautiful by heart, and you may even see some tears running down our cheeks as we sing.  We have lived what many of you have only read in history books and we feel no obligation to apologize to anyone for America.
Yes, we are old and slow these days but rest assured, we have at least one good fight left in us.  We have loved this country, fought for it, and died for it, and now we are going to save it.  It is our country and nobody is going to take it away from us.  We took oaths to defend America against all enemies, foreign and domestic, and that is an oath we plan to keep.  There are those who want to destroy this land we love but, like our founders, there is no way we are going to remain silent.
The people of this nation who elected Obama and the Democratic Congress fell for the "Hope and Change" which in reality was nothing but "Hype and Lies."
You youngsters have tasted socialism and seen evil face to face, and have found you don't like it after all.  You make a lot of noise, but most are all too interested in their careers or "Climbing the Social Ladder" to be involved in such mundane things as patriotism and voting.  Many of those who fell for the "Great Lie" in 2008 are now having buyer's remorse.  With all the education we gave you, you didn't have sense enough to see through the lies and instead drank the 'Kool-Aid.' Now you're paying the price and complaining about it.  No jobs, lost mortgages, higher taxes, and less freedom.  This is what you voted for and this is what you got.  We entrusted you with the Torch of Liberty and you traded it for a paycheck and a fancy house.
Well, don't worry youngsters, the Grey-Haired Brigade is here, and in 2016 we are going to take back our nation.  We may drive a little slower than you would like but we get where we're going, and in 2016 we're going to the polls by the millions.
This land does not belong to the man in the White House nor to the likes of Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and Eric Holder.  It belongs to "We the People" and "We the People" plan to reclaim our land and our freedom.
We hope this time you will do a better job of preserving it and passing it along to our grandchildren.  So the next time you have the chance to say the Pledge of Allegiance, Stand up, put your hand over your heart, honor our country, and thank God for the old geezers of the "Gray-Haired Brigade."
Footnote: This is spot on.  I am another Gray-Haired Geezer signing on.  I will circulate this to other Gray-Haired Geezers all over this once great county.  Can you feel the ground shaking???  It's not an earthquake, it is a STAMPEDE.

Joe legal vs. Jose' Illegal ... Thx Pidge F! ... Let us all stick our heads in the sand and say it isn't happening.

JOE vs JOSE ~~~ Think you'll love this one
This explains illegal immigration better than anything I have seen to date
JOE vs. JOSE

You have two families: "Joe Legal" and "Jose Illegal." Both families have two parents, two children, and live in California.

Joe Legal works in construction, has a Social Security Number and makes $25.00 per hour with taxes deducted.
Jose Illegal also works in construction, has NO Social Security Number, and gets paid $15.00 cash "under the table."

Ready? Now pay attention....

Joe Legal: $25.00 per hour x 40 hours = $1000.00 per week, or $52,000.00 per year. Now take 30% away for state and federal tax;
Joe Legal
 now has $31,231.00.

Jose Illegal: $15.00 per hour x 40 hours = $600.00 per week, or $31,200.0 0 per year.
Jose Illegal
pays no taxes. Jose Illegal now has $31,200.00.

Joe Legal pays medical and dental insurance with limited coverage for his family at $600.00 per month, or $7,200.00 per year.
Joe Legal
 now has $24,031.00.

Jose Illegal has full medical and dental coverage through the state and local clinics and emergency hospitals at a cost of $0.00 per year.
Jose Illegal
 still has $31,200.00.

Joe Legal makes too much money and is not eligible for food stamps or welfare. Joe Legal pays $500.00 per month for food, or $6,000.00 per year.
Joe Legal now has $18,031.00.

Jose Illegal has no documented income and is eligible for food stamps, WIC and welfare.
Jose Illegal
 still has $31,200.00.

Joe Legal pays rent of $1,200.00 per month, or $14,400.00 per year.
Joe Legal
 now has 9,631 .00.

Jose Illegal receives a $500.00 per month Federal Rent Subsidy.
Jose Illegal
pays out that $500.00 per month, or $6,000.00 per year. Jose Illegal still has $ 31,200.00.

Joe Legal pays $200.00 per month, or $2,400.00 for car insurance. Some of that is uninsured motorist insurance.
Jose Illegal
says, "We don't need no stinkin' insurance!" and still has $31,200.00.

Joe Legal has to make his $7,231.00 stretch to pay utilities, gasoline, etc.
Jose Illegal has to make his $31,200.00 stretch to pay utilities, gasoline, and what he sends out of the country every month..

Joe Legal now works overtime on Saturdays or gets a part time job after work.
Jose Illegal has nights and weekends off to enjoy with his family.

Joe Legal's and Jose Illegal's children both attend the same elementary school.
Joe Legal
pays for his children's lunches, while Jose Illegal's children get a government sponsored lunch.
Jose Illegal's
children have an after school ESL program.
Joe Legal's
 children go home.

Now, when they reach college age, Joe Legal's kids may not get into a State School and may not qualify for scholarships, grants or other tuition help, even though Joe has been paying for State Schools through his taxes, while Jose Illegal's kids "go to the head of the class" because they are a minority.

Joe Legal and Jose Illegal both enjoy the same police and fire services, but Joe paid for them and Jose did not pay.

Do you get it, now?

If you vote for or support any politician that supports illegal aliens...you are part of the problem!

We need to keep this going--we need to make changes ASAP!

It's way PAST time to take a stand for America and Americans!

What are you waiting for? Pass it on.
