For Christian American readers of this blog:

I wish to incite all Christians to rise up and take back the United States of America with all of God's manifold blessings. We want the free allowance of the Bible and prayers allowed again in schools, halls of justice, and all governing bodies. We don't seek a theocracy until Jesus returns to earth because all men are weak and power corrupts the very best of them.
We want to be a kinder and gentler people without slavery or condescension to any.

The world seems to be in a time of discontent among the populace. Christians should not fear. God is Love, shown best through Jesus Christ. God is still in control. All Glory to our Creator and to our God!

A favorite quote from my good friend, Jack Plymale, which I appreciate:

"Wars are planned by old men,in council rooms apart. They plan for greater armament, they map the battle chart, but: where sightless eyes stare out, beyond life's vanished joys, I've noticed, somehow, all the dead and mamed are hardly more than boys(Grantland Rice per our mutual friend, Sarah Rapp)."

Thanks Jack!

I must admit that I do not check authenticity of my posts. If anyone can tell me of a non-biased arbitrator, I will attempt to do so more regularly. I know of no such arbitrator for the internet.

The World is mine ... thx Judi C!

Subject THE WORLD IS MINE

Hi Everyone,
Someone just sent this to me, which reminded me of a
quotation by a thirteenth century mystic named Meister Eckhart. He
said “If the only prayer you said in your whole life was, "Thank you,"
that would suffice.” Works for me.

THE WORLD IS MINE - Author Unknown

Today, upon a bus, I saw a very beautiful woman and wished I
were as beautiful. When suddenly she rose to leave, I saw her hobble
down the aisle. She had one leg and used a crutch. But as she passed,
she passed a smile.Oh, God, forgive me when I whine.I have two legs;
the world is mine. I stopped to buy some candy. The lad who sold it had
such charm. I talked with him, he seemed so glad.If I were late, it'd
do no harm. And as I left, he said to me, "I thank you, you've been so
kind. It's nice to talk with folks like you.You see," he said, "I'm
blind."Oh, God, forgive me when I whine.I have two eyes; the world is
mine. Later while walking down the street, I saw a child that I
knew.He stood and watched the others play, but he did not know what to
do.I stopped a moment and then I said, “Why don't you join them
dear?"He looked ahead without a word. I forgot, he couldn't hear.Oh,
God, forgive me when I whine.I have two ears; the world is mine. With
feet to take me where I'd go.With eyes to see the sunset's glow. With
ears to hear what I'd know.Oh, God, forgive me when I whine.I've been
blessed indeed, the world is mine. If this poem makes you feel
thankful, just forward it to your friends. After all, it's just a
simple reminder that we have so much to be thankful for!Give the gift
of love. It never comes back empty!I have been truly blessed with
AWESOME FRIENDS!
