For Christian American readers of this blog:

I wish to incite all Christians to rise up and take back the United States of America with all of God's manifold blessings. We want the free allowance of the Bible and prayers allowed again in schools, halls of justice, and all governing bodies. We don't seek a theocracy until Jesus returns to earth because all men are weak and power corrupts the very best of them.
We want to be a kinder and gentler people without slavery or condescension to any.

The world seems to be in a time of discontent among the populace. Christians should not fear. God is Love, shown best through Jesus Christ. God is still in control. All Glory to our Creator and to our God!

A favorite quote from my good friend, Jack Plymale, which I appreciate:

"Wars are planned by old men,in council rooms apart. They plan for greater armament, they map the battle chart, but: where sightless eyes stare out, beyond life's vanished joys, I've noticed, somehow, all the dead and mamed are hardly more than boys(Grantland Rice per our mutual friend, Sarah Rapp)."

Thanks Jack!

I must admit that I do not check authenticity of my posts. If anyone can tell me of a non-biased arbitrator, I will attempt to do so more regularly. I know of no such arbitrator for the internet.

Survey Results from Sam

Here's what you said about Donald Trump's foreign policy
Dear Sam,

The results are in...

...and there's a lot more support for President Trump's foreign policy than the left-wing media wants you to believe.

In fact, the overwhelming majority of Freedom Center supporters agree:
  • Donald Trump was right to park a nuclear-powered submarine in Kim Jong Un's backyard.
  • He was right to launch a missile strike in Syria.
  • And he was right to drop the "mother of all bombs" on ISIS.
And of course, most Freedom Center supporters want to see him follow through on his campaign promise to move the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.

Thank you for taking the time to complete the survey. I think you and I have proved the left-wing media is distorting the truth about President Trump.

Sincerely,

David Horowitz

Subject: 100 DAYS SURVEY: Trump's foreign policy

David Horowitz Freedom Center

Dear Sam,

Today marks President Trump's 100th day in office, and his foreign policy already looks different than Obama's.

A lot has happened in those 100 days, and the mainstream media has taken every opportunity to attack the President, so today I want to know what YOU think of the change.

Please follow this link to complete the brief, 5-question "Trump Foreign Policy Survey."

Sam, I know you were sick and tired of seeing Obama apologize for America at every turn. Not to mention his sacrificing our nation's security with reckless policies like the Iran nuclear deal.

After the last 100 days it's clear that President Trump is cut from an entirely different cloth. In fact, he's already:
  • Launched a missile strike against Assad in Syria
  • Dropped the "mother of all bombs" on ISIS in Afghanistan
  • Parked a nuclear-powered sub in North Korea's backyard
But at every turn, the media tries to paint him as some kind of dangerous radical – as though supporting Israel and standing up to terrorists and war criminals isn't what most of us want.

Trump needs to know that we don't want to go back to Obama's weak and cowardly foreign policy. And we can't count on the liars in the mainstream media to report on what Americans really think.

That's why I want to know what you think of President Trump's foreign policy so far.

Will you take a moment right now to take the "Trump Foreign Policy Survey?"

As you know, we have strong relationships with several aides in the administration who we share our positions and ideas with on a regular basis.

Your answers to this survey will help me craft the Freedom Center's strategy going forward – especially when it comes to Israel.

And we'll publish the results too so that the mainstream media – who represents Liberal Hollywood elites more than you and me – can't lie about what we want.

Thank you in advance for sharing your feedback!

Sincerely,
David Horowitz

Jim Kegley's High Notes ... Thx Brother, Jim K !

High Notes 05-03-2017

Do you remember those June bug summers in Portsmouth, when the iridescently decorated, deep-green, hard-shell flying insects would congregate to copulate among the dandelions and clover in the playing fields of our youth?  Mound Park for us, Labold Field for others?
We used to catch the sex-depleted and sluggish bugs in our hands and transfer them to Mason jars, or paper bags, and tie long lengths of Mom’s sewing thread to their legs, and fly them like model airplane enthusiasts, around and around above our heads.
After a day flying June bugs, our hands smelled like sweaty socks.
     Was life simpler then?
Yes, life was simpler to a small boy…a boy like all boys, who found beauty in so many things, so many small things, so many sights, so many sounds, so many smells.   “The cricketing stitch of midday in hot meadows”, to quote Thomas Wolfe.
Well this is the opening part of a story I wrote for the June 20. 2002, High Notes column, and it is among others chosen for my recently printed book.
Not everybody will relate to “dirty socks smelling” bugs, but many of my other columns  are about people, not bugs.  In my hundreds of columns, published between 1973 and today, I hope you will recognize many of the names of our neighbors and friends.
The book is available for sale at The Scioto Voice office in Wheelersburg, for $22.00, and can be purchased by mail for $26, which includes shipping and mailing. by sending order to:
