Per Groupon.com, I am traveling to NYC on OCt. 21. touring the WTC Islamic atrocity site per my choice on Oct. 22 and back to Columbus early Sat. morning 10-23- Fun bus tour. I visited the city several times before but this will be my first post 9/11 visit. I will be praying where the devil muslims preyed upon our innocents in our innocence. We have been so easy for them to date, especially for the last twenty or thirty years. I'l look and photograph where they should not be permitted to build a mosque!

Kentucky coaches- Jack H Plymale
Sam, UK has had the two most storied coaches in the history of major college athletics. The Col. and the Bear.I know of no other can equal that claim. Jack P.
(Jack is referring to UK's 48-14 loss to Florida in football yesterday).

I believe you understand the suituation in Lexington, Jack.
I did not watch much, but UK hasn't beaten the Gators since 1986. On one play, I watched three missed tackles. I believe there is a mindset for losing and it infiltrated the Cat footballers a long time ago. I feel that the recruiting has stepped up a notch under these last two coaches, but UK is still getting the droppings from other programs.
I think Jim tressel is an honorable man and an excellent coach, who continually gets top level recruits.

Things don't look good late in the game for the Lexington folks, but if fall is here, can winter( and a day of reckoning) be far behind.

Eric Crawford LCJ- Calipari manages the storm Sam
Whatever will be will be.

Please click on Aaron's UK basketball blog and read Eric Crawford's piece on "Calipari manages the storm".
Cal's "10-11" team packs bags for kids and has the team wash kids feet while on the Canadian trip. He is continually villified by the non-Kentucky fan journalists. Go figure! Whatever will be will be. I just keep praying for Cal and I am personally thankful that he coaches basketball at UK. As an aside, he goes to mass each day. That was not a loud proclamation for affect, but more of a whisper.
Oh yeah. I must admit that I have been a Kentucky fan since my amateur round ball playing days on Portsmouth Ohio's Highland Grade School outside court. I was only good enough to be the picker or the first pick in most games. School yarders understand that. I have this sickness that gets into one's blood stream and slowly converts red to blue. One can live with it throughout life and enjoy all the good that comes with it. It causes extra adrenalin and exhuberance with each UK basketball win. Euphoria! Cal knows more and more about the effect. He GETS IT!
