Confidants...
Friends share much throughout their lives. John Bob Looney is a great urchin friend from ball playing days in Mound Park.
Then, he was just part of a wonderful pair of outstanding ball players, always referred to by fellow urchins as Looney and Lyles. Bob has passed on and he and we realized he was passing during his last days on earth. He maintained the strength of the urchins throughout and was buried in Greenlawn Cemetery in Portsmouth after his funeral in Grove City.
I am sure that Bob Lyles would hold the confidence we have now in the sadness of another friend's serious illness. We shall not reveal that confidence through the strength and wishes of our good friend.
Please Portsmouth friends, just pray for our unnamed friend and let the seriousness of the situation rest with our Heavenly Father.
