Report confirms need for action, so Ohio House should move expeditiously
A long-awaited study has told us what was already obvious: Ohio’s public pensions need reform quickly to ensure their viability. The July 10 report also made it clear that lawmakers’ delay in acting on these reforms has made the problem worse.
WITH MORE than 400,000 Ohioans still unemployed, state and federal unemployment-compensation funds don’t have enough to pay all those who need help, much less to enrich cheaters who collect compensation they aren’t entitled to.
