Norwegian Icebreaker heads North up the Mississippi River As you may have seen on the news it's been very cold in Minnesota ...So cold, in fact, that the State of Minnesota has borrowed a Norwegian Icebreaker to clear the Mississippi River for barge traffic.The Icebreaker is starting near Lake City and working its way northward.
