May 18, 2013 was a great day for the Kegleys in Westerville!
Yesterday was a beautiful spring day in the USA yesterday. G'pa Sam Kegley went out to some excellent garage sales. G'ma Jeanie and I enjoyed a lovely day with the family at our pizza party celebrating the wedding anniversaries of my brother Paul and his wife Mary (Deemer)-18 years, Son Jay and Terri-20 years, and son, Jeff and Suzy (Allen)- 9 years. The weather was forecast to be rainy, but God blessed the Kegleys' with a gorgeous day. Sister, Sandy, and our grandkids, Morgan, Tobey, Ida Scout, and Danny Allen joined in for good family enjoyment. Unfortunately, Dan's brother, Will, was working.
Sister Sandy, teased as my Dad and Mom, Forest and Mary) might have, when I said it is a way to see our grandkids. She told Paul: "Oh, we're just tools. Let's go home." We had a Kegley laugh, but. as any in their eighties, as Jeanie and I are now, can appreciate how difficult it is to get all of these loved ones in one place. We had a great day with all of these people we do love so much!
