For Memorial Day ... Thx Sonny H!

MEMORIAL DAY

Keep it
moving, please, even if you've seen it before.

It is the

VETERAN
,
not the preacher,
who has given us freedom of religion.

It is
the
VETERAN,
not the reporter,

who has given us freedom of the press.

It is
the
VETERAN,
not the poet,
who has given us freedom of speech.

It is
the
VETERAN,
not the campus organizer,
who has given us freedom to assemble.

It is
the
 VETERAN,
not the lawyer,
who has given us the right to a fair trial.

It is
the
VETERAN,
not the politician,
Who has given us the right to vote.

It is the

VETERAN
who
salutes the Flag,

It is
the

VETERAN

who serves
under the Flag,

ETERNAL
REST GRANT THEM O LORD, AND LET PERPETUAL LIGHT SHINE UPON
THEM.

God,
Bless them all!!!

Makes You Proud To Be An American!

Have a safe Memorial day/weekend,  and remember to pray for our active military, as well as our veterans.

You never know what God has in store, and you can make all the plans you want, but at the end of the day, whatever is going to happen is going to happen..

Coach and Grandma ... thjx Jim Kegley

At one point during a game, the coach called one of his
9-year-old baseball players aside and asked, 'Do you
understand what cooperation is? What a team is?' The
little boy nodded in the affirmative.

'Do you understand that what matters is whether we win
or lose together as a team?'

The little boy nodded 'yes'.

'So,' the coach continued, 'I'm sure you know, when an
out is called, you shouldn't argue, curse, attack the umpire,
or call him a pecker-head, dickhead or asshole. Do you
understand all that? '

The little boy nodded 'yes' again.

He continued, 'And when I take you out of the game so
another boy gets a chance to play too, it's not good
sportsmanship to call your coach "a dumb ass or
shithead" is it?'

The little boy shook his head 'NO'.

'GOOD', said the coach . . . 'Now go over there and
explain all that to your grandmother!'
