A Grumpy Christian
Our God knows that even a
grumpy Christian knows does not work himself into or out of Heaven. Simply by accepting Christ as God’s son, we
are saved for Eternity!
I accepted Christ many years
ago as a child. I have been far less than
our God would have me be; however, I remain saved.
I will be eighty-two years
old in another month. And I admit I am more often grumpy now. As a Metallurgical engineer, I served a few
employers to my utmost in various positions.
I have had delight in my jobs and decent pay. I have also served many years with Columbus
Foreman’s Club, Columbus Technical Institute, and Columbus State Community
College as a teacher and a tutor in technical subjects in addition to
math. I have faith in the higher majority
of young students.
The ‘systems’ in America are
in need of much improvement, Particularly, telephone service. When the operators were fired in place of
“systems”, customer service left with all those fine people.
I don’t need to tell anyone
that they will have to listen to several minutes of recording before they are
permitted to reach a live employee of any company today. Shame on you yuppies- Young
up-and-coming-executives!
Let people talk with
knoweldgable people to restore customer service to this world. Try simplifying your systems to a minimum
of recordings before they are granted the luxury of talking with a helpful
person! It might work! This old grump will tell you that it worked
for decades!
