A very educational video from Cousin Carole. 

Barb and I were in the Yellowstone when the “Return the Wolves” drive began. Barb made some fairly substantial contributions to the project. Although there is some rancher concern,, this video shows some positive results. 

What is the “Middle Ground”?

Remember when the wolves were introduced back into Yellowstone National Park  about 20 years ago?

There was a lot of debate about whether or not it was a good thing.  I don't know your thoughts on this but have a look  at this video clip.

How often do we wonder, what the heck difference does one animal make in the greater scheme of things? Well, here is the  answer!!

A Wolf Pack - This is amazing!  A wolf pack: the first 3 are the old or sick, they give the pace to the entire pack. If it were the other way round, they would be left behind, losing contact with the pack. In case of an ambush they would be sacrificed.
Then come 5 strong ones, the front line.  In the center are the rest of the pack members, then the 5 strongest following.
Last is alone, the alpha.  He controls everything from the rear. In that position he can see everything, decide the direction. He sees all of the pack.
The pack moves according to the elders pace and help each other, watch each other.

Dying Priest

 

An old priest lay dying in a hospital. 

He had served the people of the nation’s capital for many years.

He motioned for the nurse to come near.

“Yes Father?” said the nurse.

“I would really like to see Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama before I die” whispered the priest.“I will see what I can do” said the nurse.

The nurse sent the request to Washington and waited for a response.  Soon an answer came back; 

Both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama would be delighted to visit the priest.  As they were driven to the hospital Hillary commented to Obama “I don’t know why this old priest wants to see us,

but it certainly will help our images and may even help my election prospects”.  Obama agreed it was a good thing.

When they arrived at the priest’s room the priest took Hillary’s hand in his right hand and Obama’s hand in his left hand.

There was silence and a look of 

serenity on the old priest’s face.

Finally Obama spoke “Father, of all people you could have chosen, 

why did you chose us to be with you at this time when your end is so near?”

The old priest slowly replied “I have always tried to pattern my life and 

behavior after our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.”

 “Amen” said Hillary.

“Amen” said Obama.

The old priest continued 

“Jesus Christ, our Savior, died between two lying, thieving bastards and I would like to do the same”

The best preparation for the upcoming Presidential election in November are the best.  Chris Wallace and Bret      give you the most consistent sources on Fox News in my opinion.  Bill Bennett, Mike Gallagher, Pregor (Sp?) and Medved do on the radio ( 98.9 Upper Arlington here in Columbus).  Jeanie and I watch a lot of Fox TV and I listen to The Answer while driving.

Magic Lamp

 

A guy is walking along a Florida beach when he comes across a lamp partially buried in the sand.

 

He picks up the lamp and gives it a rub.

 

A genie appears and tells him he has been granted one wish.

 

The guy thinks for a moment and says, "I want to live forever."

 

"Sorry," said the genie, "I'm not allowed to grant eternal life."
