Thanks for Jack's Number 1-863-993-9760 in Arcadia Assisted Living near Miami, FL.  He may have remembered me after I mentioned a few mutual friends like yourself, Sarah, Jim out, and Doc Yeagle.  I also mentioned his football coach of their undefeated fb team in 1944, I believe.  Paul Walker met these guys every year after taking the Middletown HS basketball job.

He told those stalwart friends that they got him the best HS basketball job in America because of the 0-0 tie the year before with the Middletown Middies.  JackTold me Middletown had the ball, first and goal inside the Trojan ten with not too much  time.  Dave Spriggs yelled across the line to the Middies;: "I've got a dollar that says you don't score."  Several middies took the bet, but they did not score.  Dave barged right over to their locker room and collected from them after the game.  The Middletown search committee asked Coach Walker two questions.  One, "Do you smoke?  He replied that he did.  Then they just wanted to talk about that 0-0 tie game,  forgot the second question, and hired Paul Walker asa their basketball coach.

Jack also remembered Gib Lakeman, Gus Thompson, and Clark Rapalee, each Mound Park friends and tutors of war-life after returning home.

Jack said that he appreciated the call and asked that I call again.

Memories of P'Town sports are tremendously important to us seniors, although I ran across a Portsmouth pipe-fitters team at a motel ;last weekend, and only a Mr. Cole, knew Mick Kornhoff, whose dad coached the Wayne Widdig, Ed Schmidt,  combo at Portsmouth Central Catholic and later made the wonderful softball pitcher of Wayne later.

Praise God ... Thx Pat W!

A minute with God

      with GOD

With what is going on in the world these days, Heaven could end up a ghost town?

My name is GOD. You hardly have time for Me. I love you and will always bless you.

I am always with you. I need you to spend 30 seconds of your time with Me today.

Don't pray, just praise. Today I want this message to go across the world before midnight.

Will you help? Please do not delete it and I'll help you with something that you are in need of.

Just dare Me! A blessing is coming your way. Please drop everything and pass it on.

Why are prayers getting smaller, but bars and clubs are expanding?

Why is it so easy to worship a celebrity, but very difficult to engage with God?

Think about it, are you going to forward this or are you going to ignore it because you think you will get laughed at?

Forward this to all your friends. 80% of you won't. GOD said if you deny me in front of your friends, I will deny you on the day of judgment.

When one door closes, God opens two. If GOD has opened doors for you, send this message to everyone...

Forward if GOD's been good to you!
