God Bless Our Troops . . . Thx Dr. Ralph H! (Former UK Track Athlete during the Original Fabulous Five days)

Subject:  God bless our troops

May God Bless America and all that serve our Country today or in the past.

If you read this, you WILL forward it on. You just won't be able to stop yourself .

The average age of the military man is 19 years. He is a short haired, tight-muscled kid who, under normal circumstances is considered by society as half man, half boy. Not yet dry behind the ears, not old enough to buy a beer, but old enough to die for his country. He never really cared much for work and he would rather wax his own car than wash his father's, but he has never collected unemployment either.

He's a recent High School graduate; he was probably an average student, pursued some form of sport activities, drives a ten year old jalopy, and has a steady girlfriend that either broke up with him when he left, or swears to be waiting when he returns from half a world away. He listens to rock and roll or hip-hop or rap or jazz or swing and a 155mm howitzer.

He is 10 or 15 pounds lighter now than when he was at home because he is working or fighting from before dawn to well after dusk. He has trouble spelling, thus letter writing is a pain for him, but he can field strip a rifle in 30 seconds and reassemble it in less time in the dark. He can recite to you the nomenclature of a machine gun or grenade launcher and use either one effectively if he must.

He digs foxholes and latrines and can apply first aid like a professional.

He can march until he is told to stop, or stop until he is told to march.

He obeys orders instantly and without hesitation, but he is not without spirit or individual dignity. He is self-sufficient.

He has two sets of fatigues: he washes one and wears the other. He keeps his canteens full and his feet dry.

He sometimes forgets to brush his teeth, but never to clean his rifle. He can cook his own meals, mend his own clothes, and fix his own hurts.

If you're thirsty, he'll share his water with you; if you are hungry, his food. He'll even split his ammunition with you in the midst of battle when you run low.

He has learned to use his hands like weapons and weapons like they were his hands.

He can save your life - or take it, because that is his job.

He will often do twice the work of a civilian, draw half the pay, and still find ironic humor in it all.

He has seen more suffering and death than he should have in his short lifetime.

He has wept in public and in private, for friends who have fallen in combat and is unashamed.

He feels every note of the National Anthem vibrate through his body while at rigid attention, while tempering the burning desire to' square-away' those around him who haven't bothered to stand, remove their hat, or even stop talking. In an odd twist, day in and day out, far from home, he defends their right to be disrespectful.

Just as did his Father, Grandfather, and Great-grandfather, he is paying the price for our freedom. Beardless or not, he is not a boy. He is the American Fighting Man that has kept this country free for over 200 years.

He has asked nothing in return, except
Our friendship and understanding.

Remember him, always, for he has earned our respect and admiration with his blood.

And now we even have women over there in danger, doing their part in this tradition of going to War when our nation calls us to do so.

As you go to bed tonight, remember this shot.
A short lull, a little shade and a picture of loved ones in their helmets.

Prayer wheel for our military. Please don't break it Please send this on after a short prayer.

Prayer Wheel

'Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us.

Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. Amen.'

When you receive this, please stop for a moment and say a prayer for our ground troops in Afghanistan , sailors on ships, and airmen in the air, and for those in Iraq, Afghanistan and all foreign countries.

There is nothing attached.

This can be very powerful.

Of all the gifts you could give a US Soldier, Sailor, Coastguardsman, Marine, or Airman, prayer is the very best one.

I can't break this one, sorry.
Pass it on to everyone and pray.
What you are will show in what you do.-- Thomas A. Edison

Subject:  " Walmart vs morons"
A good question:  What is happening to our Government????
READ THIS TO THE END.  IT IS VERY INTERESTING!!!

Wal-mart vs. The Morons

1. Americans spend $36,000,000 at Wal-Mart every hour of every day.

2. This works out to $20,928 profit every minute!

3. Wal-Mart will sell more from January 1 to St. Patrick's Day (March 17th) than Target sells all year.

4. Wal-Mart is bigger than Home Depot + Kroger + Target +Sears + Costco + K-Mart combined.

5. Wal-Mart employs 1.6 million people, is the world's largest private employer, and most speak English.

6. Wal-Mart is the largest company in the history of the world.

7. Wal-Mart now sells more food than Kroger and Safeway combined. Keep in mind they did this in only 15 years.

8. During this same period, 31 big supermarket chains sought bankruptcy.

9. Wal-Mart now sells more food than any other store in the world.

10. Wal-Mart has approx. 3,900 stores in the USA of which 1,906 are Super Centers; this is 1,000 more than it had 5 years ago.

11. This year 7.2 billion different purchasing experiences will occur at Wal-Mart stores. (Earth's population is approximately 6.5 Billion.)

12. 90% of all Americans live within 15 miles of a Wal-Mart.

You may think that I am complaining, but I am really laying the ground work for suggesting that MAYBE we should hire the guys who run Wal-Mart to fix the economy.

This should be read and understood by all Americans:  Democrats, Republicans, EVERYONE!!

To President Obama and all 535 voting members of the Legislature, it is now official that the majority of you are corrupt morons:

a.  The U.S. Postal Service was established in 1775. You have had 234 years to get it right and it is broke.

b. Social Security was established in 1935. You have had 81 years to get it right and it is broke.

c. Fannie Mae was established in 1938. You have had 77 years to get it right and it is broke.

d. War on Poverty started in 1964. You have had 52 years to get it right; $1 trillion of our money is confiscated each year and transferred to "the poor" and they only want more.

e. Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965. You have had 51 years to get it right and they are broke.

f. Freddie Mac was established in 1970. You have had 46 years to get it right and it is broke.

g. The Department of Energy was created in 1977 to lessen our dependence on foreign oil. It has ballooned to 16,000 employees with a budget of $24 billion a year and we import more oil than ever before.   You had 39 years to get it right and it is an abysmal failure.

You have FAILED in every "government service" you have shoved down our throats while overspending our tax dollars.

AND YOU WANT AMERICANS TO BELIEVE YOU CAN BE TRUSTED WITH AGOVERNMENT-RUN HEALTH CARE SYSTEM?

Folks, keep this circulating. It is very well stated. Maybe it will end up in the e-mails of some of our "duly elected'(they never read anything) and their staff will clue them in on how Americans feel.

AND I know what's wrong. We have lost our minds to "Political Correctness"!

Someone please tell me what is wrong with all the people that run this country!!!!!!

We are "broke" and can't help our own Seniors, Veterans, Orphans, Homeless etc. and in the last months we have provided aid to Haiti, Chile, and Turkey and now Pakistan (the previous home of bin Laden) literally, BILLIONS of DOLLARS!!!

Our retired seniors living on a 'fixed income' receive no aid nor do they get any breaks.

AMERICA: a country where we have homeless without shelter, children going to bed hungry, elderly going without needed medicines, and the mentally ill without treatment, etc.  Imagine if the GOVERNMENT gave U. S. the same support they give to other countries. Sad isn't it?

*99% of the people receiving this message won't have the guts to forward this.

*I'm one of the 1% -- I Just Did BEING UNITED SAVES AMERICA!

I like the list of 14 things that I as a citizen want.

This is why Trump is zooming ahead. He is at least talking about issues that most Americans are concerned about.

My mantra about Trump is this:

We are usually in agreement with most of what he says but wish someone else was saying it.

We are getting older and our tickers aren't what they used to be...so here is Our Special Bucket List for 2016 and beyond:

1.  Hillary: in prison!

2. Put "GOD" back in America!!!

3. Borders: Closed!

4. Congress: On the same retirement and healthcare plans as everybody else in this country and with term limits.

5. Congress: Obey its own laws NOW!

6. Language: English only!

7. Culture: Constitution and the Bill of Rights!

8. Drug Free: Mandatory Drug Screening before and during being on Welfare!

9. Freebies:  NONE to Non-Citizens!

10. Budget: Balance the damn thing!

11. Foreign Countries:  Stop giving them our money! Charge them for our help!  We need it here.

12. Fix the TAX CODE.

And most of all what we need is:

13. "RESPECT OUR MILITARY AND OUR FLAG!!"

14.  Abolish the  I.R.S.  We the people are coming! Only 86% will send this on. Should be a 100%. What will you do?

Please send it on; if only to one person!
