This should be a tear jerker; it is meant to contrast our peaceful lives with the sacrifices others made for us.  One refrain is repeated about the difference between the soldier and the politician, and I can’t help seeing Obama when the word “politician” is said and I get angry, quietly angry.  And, we came so close … so close to another disparager of our military and our country being our leader.  

 

God Bless America ... and God did bless America last November 8^th when another politician of the worst stripe was not allowed to continue our descent into socialism and fascism.  We have a lot to be thankful for this Memorial Day and we must do what we can to insure more Memorial Days are as blessed as this one will be.
