College graduates?????  millionaires??????   NFL PLAYERS PROTEST reasons   NEW YORK (World News Bureau) – In a recent polling of 585 NFL players, nearly all of them were unsure of exactly what they are protesting regarding the position of kneeling during the playing of the National Anthem. Here's a sampling of responses to the question: "What are you protesting by kneeling during the National Anthem?" "Pretty sure it's against Nazis - especially the white ones." "We're protesting America becoming capitalistic instead of equal." "I'm protesting against Trump saying black lives don't matter." "We're against global warming and the police.." "We're showing the world that we care about, ah, things such as.... such as... ah, freedom from suppression?" "Me and my fellow players are protesting the Constitution of Independence because of what it does to people of color." "We are displaying our right to stand up by kneeling for our beliefs." "We are protesting Trump, because he, you know, keeping the black man down" "Myself is kneeling to show that just because I'm American don't mean I got to act like one." All above comments are from National Football League players with at least 3 years of an American College “Education.” Average player salary $1,900,000……is this a great country or what !!!

It was written by Ted Nugent Take a little trip to Valley Forge in January. Hold a musket ball in your Fingers and imagine it piercing your flesh and breaking a bone or two. There won't be a doctor or trainer to assist you until after the battle, so Just wait your turn. Take your cleats and socks off to get a real Experience. Then, take a knee on the beach in Normandy where man after American man Stormed the beach, even as the one in front of him was shot to pieces, the Very sea stained with American blood. The only blockers most had were the Dead bodies in front of them, riddled with bullets from enemy fire. Take a knee in the sweat soaked jungles of Vietnam. From the Khe Sanh to Saigon, anywhere will do. Americans died in all those jungles. There was no Playbook that told them what was next, but they knew what flag they Represented. When they came home, they were protested as well, and spit on For reasons only cowards know. Take another knee in the blood drenched sands of Fallujah in 110 degree Heat. Wear your Kevlar helmet and battle dress. Your number won't be Printed on it unless your number is up! You'll need to stay hydrated but There won't be anyone to squirt Gatorade into your mouth. You're on your Own. There are a lot of places to take a knee where Americans have given their Lives all over the world. When you use the banner under which they fought As a source for your displeasure, you dishonor the memories of those who Bled for the very freedoms you have. That's what the red stripes mean. It Represents the blood of those who spilled a sea of it defending your Liberty. While you're on your knee, pray for those that came before you, not on a Manicured lawn striped and printed with numbers to announce every inch of Ground taken, but on nameless hills and bloodied beaches and sweltering Forests and bitter cold mountains, every inch marked by an American life Lost serving that flag you protest. No cheerleaders, no announcers, no coaches, no fans, just American men and Women, delivering the real fight against those who chose to harm us, Blazing a path so you would have the right to "take a knee." You haven't Any inkling of what it took to get you where you are, but your "protest" is Duly noted. Not only is it disgraceful to a nation of real heroes, it Serves the purpose of pointing to your ingratitudefor those who chose to Defend you under that banner that will still wave long after your jersey is Retired. If you really feel the need to take a knee, come with me to church on Sunday and we'll both kneel before Almighty God. We'll thank Him for Preserving this country for as long as He has We'll beg forgiveness for our Ingratitude for all He has provided us. We'll appeal to Him for Understanding and wisdom. We'll pray for liberty and justice for all, Because He is the one who provides those things. But there will be no Protest. There will only be gratitude for His provision and a plea for His Continued grace and mercy on the land of the free and the home of the Brave. It goes like this, GOD BLESS AMERICA

TRUMP SALARY   

On Friday, the Trump administration released their annual report to Congress on White House Office Personnel. It includes the name, status, salary and position title of all 377 White House employees.  The report also said that Trump decided not to take a dime of his salary; instead he donated it to an amazing cause! See below. The report also showed that President Trump is far better at saving money than Obama was. The total annual White House salaries under Trump are $35.8 million vs. $60.9 million under Obama, a savings of $25.1 million. Here are some other key findings:

1- There are 140 fewer employees on White House staff under Trump than under Obama at this point in their respective presidencies.  

2- Thirty-nine fewer staffers are also dedicated to The First Lady of the United States (FLOTUS) Currently, there are only five staffers dedicated to Melania Trump vs. forty-four staffers who served Michelle Obama (FY2009)

3- However, it's what the report said Trump did with this salary that has everyone talking. 

4- Instead of taking his salary, Trump donated all $400,000 to the Department of the Interior where it will be used for construction and repair needs at military cemeteries!AMAZING! It's so great to have a President who loves our brave military men and women so much!

Oh, and where's the media coverage of this? That's right, they don't cover anything decent that the President does...

Our first conversation, back in the eighties in Catlanta Rennaisance Hotel lobby, were enlightening to me.  I know you are bright. I don't always agree with my 'brighter' friends.  You have expressed a lot of criticism about America.  I revere those who fought for our freedoms which adherence to our constitution maintains, and I  cannot believe that humans, left to their own ways, will devise an unselfish system of  "To each according to his abilities and from each according to his needs."   You are much aware of history that shows politicians of countries all over this world belie that.  And , you know that I profess to be Christian while knowing my own human failings, but I do believe in a higher good.  I, friend, don't force that on you or any of my friends.  Acceptance or rejection is a free choice. You must know that I circulate my emails fairly widely among my friends. but welcome any reply that comes back blank or with a comment to "Remove Sam's messages from my mailing list".  I don't aim that specifically at you, but to all who receive my missiles of attempted humor or enlightenment.  My own ideas are not so profound as I would hope for.  I strive to act satisfactorily in my life to receive God's acceptance.  I am not capable of God's Judging ability. He also taught at Portsmouth High School, to a ten years or so older friend of mine.   Jesse would bring  in the newspaper and go through stories in his teaching.  That would be difficult in America today without teaching "spin".
