Re- Hi!

Pat,

I am the early riser for a while and then back to get more shut-eye shortly. I believe you once wrote that you sometimes stay up late.

I tutor math at Columbus State Community College today from 8 AM to 1 PM. I love it! It is the high school math we had at PHS and I followed up in engineering school with a few more years of math. The young (20 to 70) are interested in getting their grades. I have taught as an adjunct there for 26 years.

Please tell Glenna hello for me. God put a lot of nice people in P'Town, didn't He?

The operation went perfectly. I visit the surgeon for follow-up on the 27th. I see the audiologist to have the external sound processor attached (by magnet) to the internal processor. The external hearing device will be connected to the 24 channel wire into the cochlea and I will begin therapy to interpret the "electric voice box" sounds I understand will come to me. I recall conversations now with our deceased friend, Sam Ray, who spent his last years with a voice box. Sam was another outstanding Portsmouthite.

Jeanie is as fine as a life-long osteoarthritis beauty can be. She has known a lot of pain in her life.

God has blessed us all as Tiny Tim proclaimed for Him to do.

Sam

Hi Sam,

I see you are up bright and early. I know it has been a long long time since we last saw each other. I am going to attend our next class reunion if nothing happens between now and then.

How is the procedure for your hearing coming along. I do hope and pray that it is successful.

Glenna Lawson Conner called me the other day and she said to tell you HI from the girl that always sat behind you in home room. I gave her your blog address a while back but she says the computer is smarter than her so she doesnot use it much.

Take care and keep well dear friend. I do read your blog just about every day and that is one of the things I look forward to each day.

Tell Jeanie I said hello.

God Bless you both.
Pat
