The Thursday demonstration to stop the national health bill may be more effective than we think. National media do not consider it front page material, but on page A5 of today's Dispatch, a story claims that democrats in the House of Representatives are struggling to find their "comfort level" to vote for the bill.
Why should they find any comfort in that action. They are representatives and the people they represent simply don't want the bill passed. Interestingly, my wife Jeanie, showed me this small paragraph in the article:
"In addition, the entire House will be up for election next year."
I found that interesting because I have wanted us to vote them all out anyway, but certainly now we should target all of those who vote for the crazy national health bill out of office. It would be nice to have representatives of 'we the people' in the offices again.
