"How lucky you can be" my Nisei friend, Sgt. Noburu Yamomoto, used to proclaim to me in our barrack in Japan. Of course he was looking at Jeanie's portrait by my bed. "How you get such a beautiful woman, boy?" I have so many great friends such as you who find and forward the best emails to me, Lou.
