Subject: Cory keeps progressing





The news tonight is so amazing from where he was just a week ago. They

had Cory up and walking today with a nurse on each side of him. What

an emotional feeling to watch him stand on his own and then walk with

the nurses help. I just talked with Mick and he said that after we

left today Cory started talking. I guess after they have them up and

walking it stimulates the brain more and got him to start talking.

Cory is about where an average head trauma person is after six or eight

months after their injury. Isn't this amazing? I know it is due to

all the love, concern and prayers being sent his way. I'm not going to

write every night anymore. I think we have him on the road to recovery

and I'll try to update his condition once or twice a week. Thanks

again from all of us in the Lundy/Garrett/Maxwell/Kegley families. Oh

yes, one more thing, they have moved him into a room in the

rehabilitation area on the trauma floor. Wow! Way to go Cory....Thank

you God.
