Teasing, Kegleys, and Christianity

My parents were Forest E. and Mary E. Kegley.  They raised ten of us kids at 1227 McConnell Ave. in Portsmouth, Ohio.  If they were living today (our dream wishes) they would be around 105 years old.    Forest E. was among the greatest teases God ever created.  Mary also liked a 'fun' tease.

I like to call myself TIO (The Innocent One) but I must admit it is a 'fun' tease to arouse the 'fun' ire of my family and friends who refuse to call me that, as I do- in all modesty.  I was just thinking that, as our Heavenly Father knows each of us in our bits of ornrieness at times just like our fellow family members do,  He still accepts us as innocents, so much so that  He sent Jesus, His Son, to die for our ornriness defined as sins.

It is not a tease that each of us has sinned and it is a profound statement of our Christianity that we Christians (who accept Christ) are forgiven.

Our parents were great in our eyes and we would loudly proclaim with them the song's words for our Lord:

How Great Thou Art!

Sam
