Born again Christian Ronald Reagan... SamKat

My brother, George, regards Harry Truman as our greatest President and I certainly respect the straight forward honesty of President Truman.  My favorite President of  American history is Ronald Reagan.

As merely one privileged to be a citizen of this United States, I always admired the man in his acting roles and loved his speeches above all.  He had Christian courage although he never touted his Christianity, he merely displayed it by his actions.  I nearly winced when he said: "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall." in speaking of the Berlin Wall.  The wall came down later for the good of this troubled world.

President Reagan referred to himself as a "born again Christian".

I realize that Governors Kasich of Ohio and Walker of Wisconsin are mimicking the conservative principles of President Reagan.  These two gentlemen are making unpopular moves toward restoring our state governments to become sound entities.  It will hurt a lot, but must be begun now if we are to get through this torturous bit of American history into sound and representative government once more.

The liberals and the ACU have had their way for far too long and the USA is becoming unrecognizable when compared to the days of the eighties during Ronald Reagans Presidency.

This "city on a hill" of the USA and Canada must return to it's rightful place as the lasty great bastion of freedom to the world.  It will require more people of Christian courage to step forward.

Please God, bring forth those courageous leaders.  If they come from the Tea Party or wherever let them stay the course.

Personally, I am 78 and not scared of dying except that this world which is consuming our children and grandchildren needs Christians with a compassion for all of the world's six billion plus people.

Am I Preaching?  Yes I guess so.  I, and so many of my acquaintances, share the title of "Chief among sinners" with Paul of the New Testament scriptures.  What my grade will be, I do not know, but a C in Heaven is much preferrable to an A in Hell.  I am safe by my acceptance of the forgiving nature of Jesus Christ and His Father's great plan for the humanity He created.

Bring it on, people of courage, and bring the USA and Canada back to a worthy spots as cities on a hill!
