power of that dollar has changed drastically. The annual inflation rate
from 1960 to 2011 has been 4.02%, from that we can determine that what
you could buy for $1.00 in 1960 would cost you $7.46 today. Looking at
it the other way, what you can buy for a dollar today cost only 13c in
1960!
