CAROL HAD A DOUBLE MASTECTOMY ON TUE. OPERATION WENT WELL BUT HEMOGLOBIN IS LOW AND HAS HAD 2 UNITS OF BLOOD SO FAR, NORMAL IS 12 TO 18 AND HERS HAS DROP TO 6.9. THE FIRST UNIT GOT IT UP TO 7.7. I AM TRYING TO GET THE MEDICARE TO LET US ENTER HER IN TO HOSPITAL REHAB UNIT AND IT IS BEING WORKED ON. A THERAPIST CAME IN YESTERDAY TO EVALUATE HER. THEY REMOVED THE AUTOMATIC PAIN KILLERS YESTERDAY AND SHE SAID SHE FELT OK WITH OUT THEM, SHE CAN HAVE PAIN KILLER BY MOUTH IF NEEDED.
