Sam Kegley book signings in Portsmouth Tuesday, November 19

Sam Kegley's book signing at Newberry's Sporting Goods, 1-3, and at Portsmouth Public Library's Local Author's Showcase, 5-7 PM on Tuesday November 19th:

Sales to Portsmouth purchasers of my previous books have helped me to nearly break-even in his book publishing efforts.  The current book "Acquaintances with Integrity III", Sam's 10th,  has Frank Gerlach, Denny Ramey, and Joe Robert's interview stories.  Sam Has enjoyed interviewing and writing the stories which each person edits themselves. Other Portsmouthites' stories are in the "original" Acquaintances book and the "II" editions, such as:

"Original"-    2011

                     Klitch, Dick
                     Rawlings, Scott
                     Taylor, Myron
                     Whitfield, Cy

"II"-               2002

                      Bennett, Gene
                      Bierley, Blaine
                      Clark, Carl
                      Daehler, William, Dr.
                      Fitch, Steven C., Atty
                      Hunter, Frank
                      Looney, Bob (John)
                      Lynch, Carolyn
                      Lynch, Tom
                      Ross, Dan, PhD

In addition to the "trilogy" of "Acquaintances" books, Sam has included Portsmouth people interview stories in most all of his books.

Sam (PHS 50) was a Mound Park Urchin during the WW II years and the post war years throughout the remaining fortie's.  Most concentration of Portsmouth stories were in "Softball 'It don' Matta' " (2003) and "Excellence in Athletics in the Portsmouth Area" (2004).

Jeanie (Jeanette Weddington Kegley-New Boston HS- 48, my wife of soon-to-be 62 years) will be with me and selling the books or taking orders for some of the older ones, all at discounted prices.  I hope many friends will "stop by and buy" as the restaurant on the south end advertised years ago.  We would enjoy seeing each one of you.

Thank you Portsmouth, Ohio friends and family!

Sam Kegley
