Damning indictment

The state auditor’s report released Tuesday leaves little doubt that former Columbus City Schools Superintendent Gene Harris knew for years that some of her top administrators were engaged in a calculated effort to cheat on state report cards, by manipulating student data.

School board hasn’t learned

Mere hours after Tuesday’s release of a scathing state auditor’s report detailing the extent of corruption in Columbus City Schools and the Board of Education’s role in it, board members demonstrated how little they have learned from a hard 18 months of scandal and blame.

Someone you probably are not familiar with has filed a suit you probably have not heard about concerning a four-word phrase you should know about. The suit could blow to smithereens something everyone has heard altogether too much about, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
