Regarding the Rapture ... SamKat

Regarding the Rapture

I have wondered about the 'End Times' within the last twenty years of my life.  I will be 83 next month.  Recent deaths of wonderful people of my acquaintance in  this life cause me to wonder again; however the Bible teachings tell us again and again.  No one knows.

I searched Rapture- Wikipedia and found this about the Date among much more information:

"... many of those who believe that the precise date of the Rapture cannot be known, do affirm that the specific time frame that immediately precedes the rapture event can be known.  The time frame is often referred to as "the Season" .  The primary section of the scripture cited for this position is Matthew 24:32-35; where Jesus is quoted teaching the parable of the fig tree, which is proposed as the key that unlocks the understanding of general timing of the rapture, as well as the surrounding prophesies listed in the sections of scripture that precede and follow this parable."

Dr. Scott D. McQuate's book: at FigTreeParable.com is noteworthy for describing the parable.

The world's most blessed nation in history has been the United States of America.  As Joseph received much jealous thoughts and actions from his brothers in Egypt, thusly this one nation has received the envy of most other nations of the world.  I don't believe that God wanted this to happen but, the free will of His human creations have done so throughout history.  There are many signs of the church losing favor in America and further swings away from the Bible and into secularism. Christians are being ousted from Iraq and other Middle Eastern nations.  Extreme religious violence is everywhere in this world.

I am not given to prophesying.  Jesus is also quoted as saying; "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, not theSon , but the Father only" In Matthew 24:36.

There are so many signs of the evil events in this world that warn that each one of us should be prepared.  Christians believe that the preparation was a gift from God in that his son came to earth, lived and taught among us. Yet, He was crucified unjustly and died a terrible death on the cross between thieves.  The gift can prepare each of us if we accept and believe and live in appreciation of it.

I pray continually for the millennial in which Christ will reign on earth for a thousand years.  The rapture may be pre, present, or post-millennial.
