I was in Sasebo, Japan for a week awaiting fatigues (short in supply at the moment) which was our main issue for Korea, It was only a few days before the Korean truce was signed in June, 1953, 64 years ago. I guess PFC Kegley coming for Army engineering supply was the final intimidating factor to bring about the signing- NOT!
My subsequent 17 months service in the 29th Engineering topographic Batallion in Tokyo negated shots across my bow.
