I was in Sasebo, Japan for a week awaiting fatigues (short in supply at the moment) which was our main issue for Korea, It was only a few days before the Korean truce was signed in June, 1953, 64 years ago.  I guess PFC Kegley coming for Army engineering supply was the final intimidating factor to bring about the signing- NOT!  ðŸ˜€  My subsequent 17 months service in the 29th Engineering topographic Batallion in Tokyo negated shots across my bow.

President Trump gave another outstanding speech in South Korea last night and is now on to China to meet with Xi. In South Korea, He called attention beautifully to the extreme contrasts between the individual citizens of South Korea and of those in North Korea.  I was extremely proud of our President who eloquently invoked the blessings of God upon the world once more.
