I am not good at citing chapter and verse of the Bible which I have read through and studied with groups and alone throughout my lifetime.  I tend to think that the only consistent thing I have been good at is "self-effacing"; however I am finding that  I don't do that so well as I have always thought.

I'm sure I could find it in my Bible (Actually Jeanie's dad, Cottle's bible), but somewhere it says something in the gist of 'when you pray, do not do so before men, rather in a closet to be heard by God',

My current thought is that I so admire the courage of Mr. Trump and all members of his family.  With Terrorists and crazies all around, assassination is not an out-of-the question event today.  Wealth and fame, The family had abundantly.  The recent email indicating an ongoing study of now 75 years, indicated that 80 % of young people beginning their careers sought wealth and 20 % sought fame after that.  Sounds like the well repeated Pareto Principle  at work.  However after going through their careers, most admit that personal relationships are found to be most coveted for their lives.

Perhaps that is where the President Donald is in life.  Certainly he has gained wealth and he sought out fame by Television appearances in shows of his choosing.  He was wealthy and famous already.

I believe he found a love of the common people, much as Prime Minister Winston Churchill (named Man of the Twentieth Century) found on his trip through the railroad to the War Council meeting. The socialists were clamoring for seeking out a peace treaty or truce with Adolph Hitler.  When ordinary British citizens were asked by Sir Winston on the train car, if a peace treaty should be signed at the time, the most consistent word from every one of those citizens uttered was "NEVER!". Even the very young girl he sought out cried out steadfastly "Nevah!"  No second thoughts.

Leftist and Liberal politicians have been consistently moving the USA  toward socialism over the last six decades.  Conservatives, Particularly Christians who have seen nearly all biblical references stripped from education, entertainment, government, and practically every venue, have come to the place where they are saying: "Never!"  Certainly NOT as those self-preserving politicians on Both sides declare: "Never Trump!"

President Trump loves evangelicals and is doing all within his power to put constitutional rulings back into the USA. Permit me to offer this simple prayer that President Donald Trump may take the final step and let God fully enter his life to give him the Christian relationship which can exceed the wealth, fame, and presidency.  I pray this not only for our courageous president but for all who have not let God's plan to let the redeeming savior enter their hearts and life.
