I just read all of the above link.
During the Korean conflict I sat behind a desk obtaining necessary supplies for a topographic Battalion
in Tokyo. One smart sergeant of our outfit said that the Japanese military and the leaders
there believed they could take this 'easy' country and put a lot of rice paddies between
the Pacific and the Missisisppi River to feed their relatively cooped up population.
I cannot pretend to be as intelligent as your officer friend or his Major.
I still recall. telling you in that first evening we talked in 2002, that if the Saudis' ever had an atomic bomb dropped
anywhere in America,
I would send one back to
Dubai and also to their capital. I believe Osama Bin Laden was part of that royalty as well as many of the 'pilots'
who flew their single suicide mission into the World Trade Center Towers. Each of us agreed upon the wickedness
of the Wahabbi Saudi nation then.
Lobbyists have controlled America's supposed representatives for years. Money talks volumes and not always for good,
I believe that President Donald G. Trump is
America's best hope. He wants appreciation as every leader everywhere does. But I also believe he 'fell in love' with the
American people during his campaign for the presidency.
None of the wars can easily
be solved and their will be many more dead and severely wounded hero service people in the future of the world.
I pray for God to grant those and their families, special places in the hereafter.
I have repeatedly remarked that our Creator God is still in control. He has enormous reasons to be disappointed in us
humans, but He has
also blessed America and Israel more than any other nations of the world.
I believe that Heaven will be a better, far from wickedness, place and want to be aware of you, Rick, most of my family and friends
joining my wife Jeanie and me there.
