The real question "conservatives" should be asking:
Why is the federal government buying old people lunch?

I don't disagree, but a similarly intriguing question for me is "Why is the government so threatened by prayers?" I decided to start with the last one first.
Mark1957 on May 11th, 2010 12:49 pm If federal subsidies bar the recipients from their right to pray, then nobody will be allowed to pray. The government subidizes nearly every crop grown in this country. Will those who recieve Medicare be denied their right to pray? Will I have to remove the plastic Jesus from my dashboard if I drive on a public road? The right ( and duty ) to pray comes from God, not from man or the government ! I will pray anywhere that I want to, and if they try to stop me I will beat them senseless, then I will pray again for forgiveness.
