For Christian American readers of this blog:

I wish to incite all Christians to rise up and take back the United States of America with all of God's manifold blessings. We want the free allowance of the Bible and prayers allowed again in schools, halls of justice, and all governing bodies. We don't seek a theocracy until Jesus returns to earth because all men are weak and power corrupts the very best of them.
We want to be a kinder and gentler people without slavery or condescension to any.

The world seems to be in a time of discontent among the populace. Christians should not fear. God is Love, shown best through Jesus Christ. God is still in control. All Glory to our Creator and to our God!

A favorite quote from my good friend, Jack Plymale, which I appreciate:

"Wars are planned by old men,in council rooms apart. They plan for greater armament, they map the battle chart, but: where sightless eyes stare out, beyond life's vanished joys, I've noticed, somehow, all the dead and mamed are hardly more than boys(Grantland Rice per our mutual friend, Sarah Rapp)."

Thanks Jack!

I must admit that I do not check authenticity of my posts. If anyone can tell me of a non-biased arbitrator, I will attempt to do so more regularly. I know of no such arbitrator for the internet.

Dearborn MI implements Sharia Law ... National Report

City in Michigan First to Fully Implement Sharia Law

shariah-law-picture
In a surprise weekend vote, the city council of Dearborn, Michigan voted 4-3 to became the first US city to officially implement all aspects of Sharia Law.  The tough new law, slated to go into effect January 1st, addresses secular law including crime, politics and economics as well as personal matters such as sexual intercourse, fasting, prayer, diet and hygiene.
The new law could see citizens stoned for adultery or having a limb amputated for theft. Lesser offenses, such as drinking alcohol or abortion, could result in flogging and/or caning. In addition, the law imposes harsh laws with regards to women and allows for child marriage.
Some in town seem to welcome the new legislation while others have denounced the move as “abhorrent”, a threat to freedom and incompatible with the Constitution.  When asked by National Report about the need for such a law, local resident Jeremy Ahmed stated:

“It is because of our need that Allah the Almighty, in all his generosity, has created laws for us, so that we can utilize them to obtain justice. We hope to see other cities taking this action in the face of the governments inaction of passing such legislation”.
Other local residents have taken to social media sites with comments ranging from “praise be to Allah” and “long live Islam” to “RIP Dearborn” and “Only in Obama’s America would an American city consider Sharia Law”.
The city of Dearborn is a well-known safe haven for Muslims and Muslim sympathizers. With a population of around 98 thousand people, roughly 30% of its residence are Muslims making them the largest concentration of Muslims in the United States.
The dangers of Sharia Law in America were first outlined in a 2010 study produced by the Center for Security Policy (CSP) titled “Sharia: The Threat to America“, a 352-page book based on authoritative sources of Islamic law. While sharia includes strict rules for prayer and fasting, it is also an all-encompassing legal and political code that covers all aspects of life including those that have nothing to do with religion.

The Parable of The
Fig Tree Explained...

The Figs
‘Esu’ states that when the Fig Tree begins putting forth leaves ‘Summer is nigh’. The phrase Fig Tree is translated Suke in the Greek and simply means, Fig Tree. Of course, this is not to be taken literally, because Fig Trees have put forth their leaves for thousands of years without being a fulfillment of prophecy. So, what then, does this Fig Tree symbolize?

There are 2 different words forFig in the New Testament. The first word is ‘Olenthos’, which means anunripe fig. When we use the logograms of the Sumerian language to break down this word, ‘Olenthos’, we get the logograms ‘Ul’ + ‘In’ + ‘Tus’, which carry the meaning of ‘Offensive Stars that were cast out’ or 'exorcised'. When we realize that the word ‘Stars’ (as in Revelation chapter 12, verse 2), literally means ‘Angels’, then it becomes clear that these ‘Olenthos’ are a reference to the ‘rebellious Angels’ that were ‘cast out’ of heaven. This is why ‘Esu’ cursed one Fig tree in Mark 11:13.

The other word for fig in the Greek is ‘Sukon’ and is the word used to describe a ‘ripe’ fig. These figs are metaphors for the ‘good’ angels, whose 'first estate’ or 'location' was actually taken from them, and who will return with the Messiah to destroy the wicked, once again, with fire (Matthew 13). But this is only a small piece of the whole elucidating story. When we break down the word ‘Sukon’ into the logograms of the Sumerian, we also find clues that point us to a very special cord in the Bible which is inextricably linked to the Fig Tree.

Regarding the Rapture ... SamKat

Regarding the Rapture

I have wondered about the 'End Times' within the last twenty years of my life.  I will be 83 next month.  Recent deaths of wonderful people of my acquaintance in  this life cause me to wonder again; however the Bible teachings tell us again and again.  No one knows.

I searched Rapture- Wikipedia and found this about the Date among much more information:

"... many of those who believe that the precise date of the Rapture cannot be known, do affirm that the specific time frame that immediately precedes the rapture event can be known.  The time frame is often referred to as "the Season" .  The primary section of the scripture cited for this position is Matthew 24:32-35; where Jesus is quoted teaching the parable of the fig tree, which is proposed as the key that unlocks the understanding of general timing of the rapture, as well as the surrounding prophesies listed in the sections of scripture that precede and follow this parable."

Dr. Scott D. McQuate's book: at FigTreeParable.com is noteworthy for describing the parable.

The world's most blessed nation in history has been the United States of America.  As Joseph received much jealous thoughts and actions from his brothers in Egypt, thusly this one nation has received the envy of most other nations of the world.  I don't believe that God wanted this to happen but, the free will of His human creations have done so throughout history.  There are many signs of the church losing favor in America and further swings away from the Bible and into secularism. Christians are being ousted from Iraq and other Middle Eastern nations.  Extreme religious violence is everywhere in this world.

I am not given to prophesying.  Jesus is also quoted as saying; "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, not theSon , but the Father only" In Matthew 24:36.

There are so many signs of the evil events in this world that warn that each one of us should be prepared.  Christians believe that the preparation was a gift from God in that his son came to earth, lived and taught among us. Yet, He was crucified unjustly and died a terrible death on the cross between thieves.  The gift can prepare each of us if we accept and believe and live in appreciation of it.

I pray continually for the millennial in which Christ will reign on earth for a thousand years.  The rapture may be pre, present, or post-millennial.

Kasich Plan to shrink two Federal Programs ... Thx Marge R!

Kasich is right- Shrink National Strengthen Local government

Presidential Hopeful Kasich Would Downsize Transportation and Education Departments

John Kasich, the popular Republican governor of the swing state of Ohio whose presidential campaign remains mired in single-digit polling numbers, took aim at the Transportation and Education departments in an op-ed published Friday in The Washington Post.
“Americans don’t need a costly federal highway bureaucracy,” he wrote in an essay arguing that Washington is obsolete. “I will return the federal gas taxes to the states, leaving only a sliver with the federal government for truly national needs. Then, I will downsize the Transportation Department and reassign it a smaller role, supporting states with research and safety standards. Federal spending would go down, resources available for highways and transit could go up, and states could work faster.”
Kasich vowed similar treatment of the Education Department. “Washington isn’t America’s principal or its teacher,” he wrote. “Education is a local issue, and decisions should be made by parents, our communities and our local educators. We need high standards, but they are not Washington’s business. I will bundle the department’s funds and send them back to the states with fewer strings attached. The department will be a research center and a local school booster, not a micromanager.”
The thrust of Kasich’s piece is that the “anemic growth” of today’s economy is traceable not to the federal government doing too little but its doing too much. This was never envisioned in the Founding Fathers’ notion of federalism with states as the key players in programs such as job training and Medicaid, he argued.
The former House Budget Committee chairman reiterated the common Republican plans for tax cuts, spending cuts, curbs on regulation and entitlement reform.
“There may have been a time when our nation’s size and complexity required a strong, centralized government, but today’s technology gives states access to the same ideas and capabilities as Washington — and they can execute faster and more efficiently,” Kasich wrote.
The latest polling average on RealClearPolitics puts Kasich’s support at 2.3 percent among primary voters.
