For Christian American readers of this blog:

I wish to incite all Christians to rise up and take back the United States of America with all of God's manifold blessings. We want the free allowance of the Bible and prayers allowed again in schools, halls of justice, and all governing bodies. We don't seek a theocracy until Jesus returns to earth because all men are weak and power corrupts the very best of them.
We want to be a kinder and gentler people without slavery or condescension to any.

The world seems to be in a time of discontent among the populace. Christians should not fear. God is Love, shown best through Jesus Christ. God is still in control. All Glory to our Creator and to our God!

A favorite quote from my good friend, Jack Plymale, which I appreciate:

"Wars are planned by old men,in council rooms apart. They plan for greater armament, they map the battle chart, but: where sightless eyes stare out, beyond life's vanished joys, I've noticed, somehow, all the dead and mamed are hardly more than boys(Grantland Rice per our mutual friend, Sarah Rapp)."

Thanks Jack!

I must admit that I do not check authenticity of my posts. If anyone can tell me of a non-biased arbitrator, I will attempt to do so more regularly. I know of no such arbitrator for the internet.

Si vic pacem, preparis por bellum - If you want peace, prepare for war ... Thx Rick B and David K!

There remains a terrible reality about the ability of the USA to defend itself today and Townhall.com displays that in the following article;  however Hitler, Mussolini, and Tojo sadly underestimated our country's ability, along with our wonderful allies, to gear up and turn things around.  WW II required four years and many dead and wounded to defeat them.  Presidebnt Reagan believed this but geared up in peace time anyway.  President-elect Donald Trump believes similarly, and is pledging to build up our military again.

Good friends of mine like to say this latin phrase, I am only tryin g to remember:

Si vic Pacem désiras, Preparis por Bellum .  My two years of high school Latin is not well enough remembered by me to say that I have literally said this.  I mean it to say as my two bright friends, If you want peace, prepare for war.  Bullies select weraklings for their efforts.  Smarter thugs avoid the well prepared physical possible targets.

The wars of words and thoughts require even more thewisdom of Reagan and Trump.  Consider the following from Townhall.com today:

Heritage Foundation Report: US Military Power "Marginal" and Trending Toward "Weak"
The U.S. military was considered overall "marginal" and the U.S. Army is ranked "weak" when it comes to military power, according to the Heritage Foundation in a report released last week.
The 2017 Index of U.S. Military Power scores are based on the military's "capability or modernity, capacity for operations, and readiness to handle assigned missions successfully."
The assessment of the U.S. Army is the same from last year yet only a third of its units are prepared for war, according to the document.
"Even for units deployed abroad, the Army has had to increase its reliance on contracted support to meet maintenance requirements," the report states. "In summary, the Army is smaller, older, and weaker, a condition that is unlikely to change in the near future."
President-elect Donald Trump has called for increasing the size of the Army to about 540,000 active-duty soldiers, the Marine Corps to 36 battalions, the Navy to 350 surface ships and submarines, and the Air Force to at least 1,200 fighter aircraft.
