Jeanie and I drove to Lexington to attend the UK-Vandy game Saturday. As I noticed the first five cars to pass me on the southbound I-71 were driven by females. At that point the roads were not icy. We expected bad weather- snowy- through and below Cincy. I started my survey to Jeanie's dismay. I think she agrees with my daughter-in-law Suzy sometimes that I am a chauvinist. I certainly am not although the survey results might be objected to by the fairer sex.

The snow did not show until 32 miles above Lexington and we were lucky to settle in a line behind two trucks scraping and salting the center and right lanes. They were doing a terrific job. The lead truck scraped the snow to the right lane and the following truck (about 30-5- yards behind) scraped it on onto the birm of the highway. We traveled then about 30 to 40 mph.
Some cars began passing after a while and most were driven by women. I know, I know. Dianne Patrick is a race car driver, but the ladies are rising up all over. I did not count tractor trailers or pick up trucks. Those are generally masculine drivers.

As to our purpose- UK 85 Vandy 67. I love it especially when our Wildcats beat Vandy.
