Welcome

Welcome to my blog http://www.skegley.blogspot.com/ . CAVEAT LECTOR- Let the reader beware. This is a Christian Conservative blog. It is not meant to offend anyone. For Christian American readers of this blog:

I wish to incite all Christians to rise up and take back the United States of America with all of God's manifold blessings. We want the free allowance of the Bible and prayers allowed again in schools, halls of justice, and all governing bodies. We don't seek a theocracy until Jesus returns to earth because all men are weak and power corrupts the very best of them.
We want to be a kinder and gentler people without slavery or condescension to any.

The world seems to be in a time of discontent among the populace. Christians should not fear. God is Love, shown best through Jesus Christ. God is still in control. All Glory to our Creator and to our God!

A favorite quote from my good friend, Jack Plymale, which I appreciate:

"Wars are planned by old men,in council rooms apart. They plan for greater armament, they map the battle chart, but: where sightless eyes stare out, beyond life's vanished joys, I've noticed, somehow, all the dead and mamed are hardly more than boys(Grantland Rice per our mutual friend, Sarah Rapp)."

Thanks Jack!

I must admit that I do not check authenticity of my posts. If anyone can tell me of a non-biased arbitrator, I will attempt to do so more regularly. I know of no such arbitrator for the internet.

Because the pressure in Cory's brain keeps rising, they kept him in an

induced coma today and put him back on the stronger medication for

pain. We were a little more discouraged about this but realize he is

healing at his own pace. They did not try to take him off the

ventilator or take the tube (bolt) out of his head. Things they said

they would try to do if his body could accept it. It couldn't today

but maybe tomorrow. Please keep those prayers coming. Thanks again

for being there for the Lundy family. They have told us from the very

start that there would be peaks and valleys in his recovery and we are

finding that out.

Love,

Sharon

Thanks Sharon Lundy and don Lundy's family- Love you

PASS THIS ON. YOU NEVER KNOW WHO MAY BE IN NEED

The first sentence is pretty powerful!

God determines who walks into your life....it's up to you to decide who

you let walk away, who you let stay, and who you refuse to let go..'

Father, God, bless all my friends in whatever it is that you know they

may need this day! And may their lives be full of your peace,

prosperity and power as they seek to have a closer relationship with

you. Amen.

Now send it on to other people. Within hours you caused a multitude of

people to pray for other people.

P.S.. More is better; who else do you know that needs prayer?

Make it a wonderful day!!!

Past 5500 now, agent Clay!

It is not the greatest number of hits for any blog, but I appreciate all who spend a little time here with me.  Some very good emailers have contributed the good stuff to this blog and I also certainly appreciate them.

I am a sinning Christian and that is not what God intended with us, but He is well aware of the frailties of his human creation.

I am disappointed that there have been a total of only two comments besides the few I add occasionally hoping to seed more.

Maybe 10 to 20 hits a day tell me that some of you are reading.

My sincere thanks!

Cory update from my sister, Sharon, his maternal grandmother- Thanks Judi cole!

Sam, the young man has a great will to live and hopefully will keep improving every day. He's in my prayers....................Judi

The doctors are happy with Cory's progress even though it seems like to us to be very slow, they say his body has to heal at its own pace. Of course we are wanting leaps and bounds and that just isn't going to be the case. He is improving, but still in critical condition and still in ICU which they expect him to be for a few more days.

The good news is that Cory responded to my voice today when I told him to move his fingers if he could hear me and he did. How happy that made me! God has been good to us and I want to thank each of you for all your prayers and love you've been sending to the Lundy family. Please don't stop.

Love, Sharon
