For Christian American readers of this blog:

I wish to incite all Christians to rise up and take back the United States of America with all of God's manifold blessings. We want the free allowance of the Bible and prayers allowed again in schools, halls of justice, and all governing bodies. We don't seek a theocracy until Jesus returns to earth because all men are weak and power corrupts the very best of them.
We want to be a kinder and gentler people without slavery or condescension to any.

The world seems to be in a time of discontent among the populace. Christians should not fear. God is Love, shown best through Jesus Christ. God is still in control. All Glory to our Creator and to our God!

A favorite quote from my good friend, Jack Plymale, which I appreciate:

"Wars are planned by old men,in council rooms apart. They plan for greater armament, they map the battle chart, but: where sightless eyes stare out, beyond life's vanished joys, I've noticed, somehow, all the dead and mamed are hardly more than boys(Grantland Rice per our mutual friend, Sarah Rapp)."

Thanks Jack!

I must admit that I do not check authenticity of my posts. If anyone can tell me of a non-biased arbitrator, I will attempt to do so more regularly. I know of no such arbitrator for the internet.

What does political correctness mean ... Thx Sarah R!

HERE IS THE ANSWER.....

For the last six odd years, almost all of the things I wanted to write or say, have been stymied by the modern term referred to as
'POLITICAL CORRECTNESS' .     Although I consider myself reasonably fluent in English, that term was not in my vocabulary.     Curiosity got the better of me so I decided to do a little research, and after two weeks of chasing fruitless leads, I found what I'd been looking for at the Truman Library and Museum in Independence Missouri.

An unnamed source there sent me copies of four telegrams between then-President Harry Truman and Gen Douglas MacArthur on the day before the actual signing of the WW2 Surrender Agreement in September 1945.     The contents of those four telegrams below are exactly as received at the end of the war -- not a word has been added or deleted!

   (1) Tokyo,Japan          0800-September 1,1945
        To:                   President Harry S Truman
         From:             General D A MacArthur
Tomorrow we meet with those yellow-bellied bastards and sign the Surrender Documents, any last minute instructions?

    (2) Washington, D C      1300-September 1, 1945
        To:                 D A MacArthur
        From:            H S Truman
Congratulations, job well done, but you must tone down your obvious dislike of the Japanese when discussing the terms of the surrender with the press, because some of your remarks are fundamentally not politically correct!

(3) Tokyo, Japan          1630-September 1, 1945
        To:            H S Truman
        From:       D A MacArthur and C H Nimitz
Wilco Sir, but both Chester and I are somewhat confused, exactly what does the term politically correct mean?

(4) Washington, D C       2120-September 1, 1945
        To:          D A MacArthur/C H Nimitz
        From:     H S Truman
Political Correctness is a doctrine, recently fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and promoted by a sick mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a piece of shit by the clean end!

Now, with special thanks to the Truman Museum and Harry himself, you and I finally have a full understanding of what 'POLITICAL CORRECTNESS' really means....

A Fallen Limb

A limb has fallen from the family tree.
I keep hearing a voice that says, "Grieve not for me.
Remember the best times, the laughter, the song.
The good life I lived while I was strong.
Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.
My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.
Remembering all, how I truly was blessed.
Continue traditions, no matter how small.
Go on with your life, don't worry about falls
I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin.
Until the day comes we're together again

Jeanie and I met Wilda with Sam, her son and Mary Lynne, her daughter-in-Law at Xenos Cafe' church.  Through our friend, Gary Idzkowski, and his smart phone, we found that this poem was written by Unknown.  Wilda's obituary in the Dispatch showed the many ways she contributed sweetly to others in the Worthington community.

My wife, Jeanie will be worthy of such a tribute; however most of us seniors ion pour eighties, gain a feeling of being forgotten whilst most of our friends have passed on and our children and grandchildren have gained such busy lives that we have been allowed to live our retirements mostly forgotten in spite of their love for us.

Thanks to Sam and Mary Lynne for sharing Wilda's remembrances yesterday.  Sam Is truly the good son and Mary Lynne, the wise one, to include The Fallen Limb, so apropos to Wilda's life.

Thx AHoll!

remember, he said he would put his muslim brothers before anyone depending on how the political winds blow . . .    so not shocking at all in the    overthrow of our country.
