Funny, and cute, however there might be some truth in it, not just in Chicago. Going to Church in Chicago When I heard Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson were guest preachers at a nearby church, I decided to go there and check them out in person. As soon as I sat down, Reverend Sharpton came over to me.I don't know why, maybe it was because I was the only white person in the church? He laid his hands on my shoulder and said: "By the will of Jesus the Lord Almighty, and the will of God, you will walk today." I told him I was not paralyzed. Then Jesse Jackson came by and said: "By the Grace of God, and his Son  Jesus, the Lord Almighty, you will walk today. Again, I said that there is nothing wrong with me. After the sermon I stepped outside and lo and behold they were right.... My car was gone!

Jesse Jackson   has added former Chicago Congressman

Mel Reynolds to Rainbow/PUSH Coalition's payroll.

 

Reynolds was among the 176 criminals excused in President Clinton's last-minute clemency forgiveness spree.       

Reynolds received a commutation of his six-and-a-half-year federal sentence for 15 convictions of wire fraud, bank fraud, and lies to the Federal Election Commission.         

He is more notorious, however, for concurrently serving five years for sleeping with an underage campaign volunteer. 

This is a first in American politics:

An ex-congressman who had sex with a subordinate....

Then won clemency from a president who had sex with a subordinate...

Then was hired by a clergyman who had sex with a subordinate.

 

His new job?

So, Jesse Jackson, Jr. 17 year veteran of the US Congress, suddenly gets a "mood disorder" (about the same time he learned he was to be indicted) and is going to prison for 2.5 years.  Because his "mood disorder" was so severe, he has become disabled and will receive $8700 per month as a disability payment as well as $45000 a year from his congressional pension, a total of about $150K per year. 

Is this a great country or what?

The "Reverend" Jesse Jackson (no records of him EVER being ordained as a member of any clergy exist), in the wake of the Trayvon Martin verdict, made this proclamation three days ago-
"I want all African Americans to know that it is time to boycott the whole state of Florida!!! No concerts, conventions or ball games. No vacations in the sunshine state and no orange juice.  Stay away from Florida. Boycott anything FROM Florida!"
Fox News noted that almost instantly, the property values in Florida shot up and vacation spots began to sell out. The crime rate is expected to continue to fall to record lows until the boycott is over.
