Subject: Fw: Brilliant
Read this until the end. The ending is great.
A beautiful fairy appeared one day to a destitute Mexican refugee outside an Arizona immigration office.
"Good man," the fairy said, "I've been sent here by President Obama and told to grant you three wishes, since you just arrived in the United States with your wife and eight children."
The man told the fairy, "Well, where I come from we don't have good teeth, so I want new teeth, maybe a lot of gold in them."
The fairy looked at the man's almost toothless grin and -- PING ! -- He had a brand new shining set of gold teeth in his mouth!
"What else?" asked the fairy, "Two more to go."
The refugee claimant now got bolder. "I need a big house with a three car garage in Annapolis on the water with eight bedrooms for my family and the rest of my relatives who still live in my country. I want to bring them all over here" --- and -- PING ! -- in the distance there could be seen a beautiful mansion with a three car garage, a long driveway, a walkout patio with a BBQ in an upscale neighborhood overlooking the bay.
"One more wish", said the fairy, waving her wand.
"Yes, one more wish. I want to be like an American with American clothes instead of these torn clothes, and a baseball cap instead of this sombrero . And I want to have white skin like Americans" ---and --- PING ! -- The man was transformed - wearing worn out jeans, a Baltimore Orioles T-shirt and a baseball cap. He had his bad teeth back and the mansion had disappeared from the horizon.
"What happened to my new teeth?" he wailed, "Where is my new house?"
THIS IS GOOD . . . . . . . .
NO, ACTUALLY THIS IS VERY GOOD . . . . . . ...
The fairy said:
"Tough, Amigo, Now that you are a White American,
you have to fend for yourself."
And she disappeared

Welcome to my blog http://www.skegley.blogspot.com/ . CAVEAT LECTOR- Let the reader beware. This is a Christian Conservative blog. It is not meant to offend anyone. Please feel free to ignore this blog, but also feel free to browse and comment on my posts! You may also scroll down to respond to any post.
For Christian American readers of this blog:
I wish to incite all Christians to rise up and take back the United States of America with all of God's manifold blessings. We want the free allowance of the Bible and prayers allowed again in schools, halls of justice, and all governing bodies. We don't seek a theocracy until Jesus returns to earth because all men are weak and power corrupts the very best of them.
We want to be a kinder and gentler people without slavery or condescension to any.
The world seems to be in a time of discontent among the populace. Christians should not fear. God is Love, shown best through Jesus Christ. God is still in control. All Glory to our Creator and to our God!
A favorite quote from my good friend, Jack Plymale, which I appreciate:
"Wars are planned by old men,in council rooms apart. They plan for greater armament, they map the battle chart, but: where sightless eyes stare out, beyond life's vanished joys, I've noticed, somehow, all the dead and mamed are hardly more than boys(Grantland Rice per our mutual friend, Sarah Rapp)."
Thanks Jack!
I must admit that I do not check authenticity of my posts. If anyone can tell me of a non-biased arbitrator, I will attempt to do so more regularly. I know of no such arbitrator for the internet.

Thanks Dr. Hovermale! How to fix Congress
I love this Dr. Hovermale. I have a few comments which I will make after I take my good wife shopping.
Sam
THIS IS HOW YOU FIX CONGRESS!!!!! A friend sent this to me. I can't think of
a reason to disagree.
I am sending this to virtually everybody on my e-mail list and that includes
conservatives, liberals, and everybody in between. Even though we disagree
on a number of issues, I count all of you as friends. My friend and neighbor
wants to promote a "Congressional Reform Act of 2009". It would contain
eight provisions, all of which would probably be strongly endorsed by those
who drafted the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Friends, please send me
your recommendations on how this bill can be improved.
I know many of you will say, "This is impossible". Let me remind you,
Congress has the lowest approval of any entity in Government, now is the
time when Americans will join together to reform Congress - the entity that
represents us.
We need to get Senators to introduce this bill in the US Senate and a
Representative to introduce a similar bill in the US House. These people
will become American hero's.. Please send any ideas on how to get this done.
Thanks,
A Fellow American

Congressional Reform Act of 2009
1. Term Limits: 12 years only, one of the possible options below.
A. Two Six year Senate terms
B. Six Two year House terms
C. One Six year Senate term and three Two Year House terms
Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers
envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term(s), then go home and back to
work.
2. No Tenure / No Pension:
A congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when
they are out of office.
Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers
envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term(s), then go home and back to
work.
3. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security:
All funds in the Congressional retirement fund moves to the Social Security
system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system,
Congress participates equally with the American people in the Social
Security system.
Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers
envisioned citizen legislators, server your term(s), then go home and back
to work.
4. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan just as all Americans.
Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers
envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term(s), then go home and back to
work.
5. Congress will no longer be able to vote themselves a pay raise.
Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.
Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers
envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term(s), then go home and back to
work.
6. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the
same health care system as the American people..
Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers
envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term(s), then go home and back to
work.
7. Congress must equally abide in and by all laws they impose on the States
and the American people..
Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers
envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term(s), then go home and back to
work.
8. All contracts with past and present congressmen are void effective
1/1/10.
The American people did not make this contract with congressmen, congressmen
made all these contracts for themselves.
Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers
envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term(s), then go home and back to
work.
One of my ideas to get this done would be for all of you to forward this to
everyone in your address book, as I did. Maybe another would be to send this
to your congressmen.
P.S. Limit lawyers to no more than 20% of the congressional membership.

Like the rest of you I love to watch John Wall play. He means so very much for our team. There is no doubt in my mind that Calipari will take us deep into the NCAA tournament with John Wall at the helm. Also the rest of the team is great too. I have a good feeling about this year primarily because I trust Coach Cal as our leader and coach.

Please endure the thoughts of a truly old UK basketball fan here as well as these posts on your great thread, BigBlue75:
I think of West, Robinson, Maravich, Chamberlain, Lucas, and so many others who were more reknown for outstandingly high scoring averages first. The game was very different during their times on the stage.
Curly agreed right away with BigBlue75 as I also do. JWorld mentions Chapman and he could do many things but was also a scorer first. Will aplauds the coach's decison to use Bledsoe at point even before Wall's second foul. Freethrow brings up the 'fastest gun in the west' comment and the likelihood of a 'hatchet man' purposely injuring John W. I considered that Calhoun sent Edwards in with that purpose as he did a real hatchet job on Wall very soon after entering the game. I disliked Edwards immediately for that, but I give him credit for playing a fine game thereafter. Soldier69 scares me with the 'soon as he can' comment. Is it possible that he could bolt for the pros after any point in this season? Catdaddy brings up the 'ultimate comparison' in MJ. ...Possible? Wanderingcatfan has some "If" and beautiful thoughts. Stucat brings CoachCal back into the thoughts and I have to agree. The greatest thing Cal has done is to bring John Wall to Kentucky along with the coach, but the even greater thing is that Coach Cal should be around for a few years at least.
Coach Cal repeatedly speaks of a 'will to win' which John Wall has deep inside himself.
Thanks again, BigBlue75! I hope you know I loved your thread and all of the WCN posters thoughts and concerns for our young star. God has been so good to have the stars align themselves and bring John Wall and Coach Cal to the University of Kentuckly. I am a true believer.

Thanks Bob Looney The best jokes are so straight forward
Subject: Best Joke I've rec'd in a while
A guy traveling through Mexico on vacation lost his wallet and all of his identification.
Cutting his trip short, he attempted to make his way home but was stopped by the U.S. Customs Agent at the border.
"May I see your identification, please?" asked the agent.
"I'm sorry, but I lost my wallet," replied the guy..
"Sure buddy, I hear that every day. No ID, no entry," said the agent.
"But I can prove I'm an American!" he exclaimed. "I have a picture of Ronald Reagan tattooed on one side of my butt and George Bush on the other."
"This I gotta see," replied the agent.
With that, the guy dropped his pants and showed the agent his behind.
"By golly, you're right!" exclaimed the agent. "Have a safe trip back to Chicago."
"Thanks!" he said. "But how did you know I was from Chicago ?"
The agent replied, "I recognized Obama in the middle."
