Since Barack Obama has been in the White House, high ranking military officers have been removed from their positions at a rate that is absolutely unprecedented.   Things have gotten so bad that a number of retired generals are publicly speaking out about the 'purge' of the U.S. military that they believe is taking place. As you will see below, dozens of highly decorated military leaders have been dismissed from their positions over the past few years.   So why is this happening? What is going on right now is absolutely crazy especially during a time of unrest. Is there a deliberate attempt to reshape the military and remove those who don't adhere to the proper 'viewpoints' ? Does someone out there feel a need to get officers that won't cooperate out of the way?   Throughout world history, whatever comes next after a military purge is never good. General William G. Jerry Boykin: “Over the past three years, it is unprecedented for the number of four-star generals to be relieved of duty, and not necessarily relieved for cause.”   - Retired Navy Captain Joseph John: “I believe there are more than 137 officers who have been forced out or given bad evaluation reports so they will never make Flag (officer), because of their failure to comply to certain views.”   A Pentagon official, who asked to remain nameless because they were not authorized to speak on the matter, said even young officers, down through the ranks have been told not to talk about Obama or the politics of the White House. They are purging everyone and if you want to keep your job just keep your mouth shut. Now this trend appears to be accelerating.   General Vallely's comment: “Absolutely every communist regime on the planet did this as soon as they got in power.”   SO WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT? He had 19 years of service and experience, and was considered one of the most highly qualified military instructors on Radical Islam & Terrorism. He taught military students about the situations they would encounter, how to react, about Islamic culture, traditions, and explained the Mindset of Islamic extremists. Passing down first hand knowledge and experience, and teaching courses that were suggested (and approved) by the Joint Forces Staff College.   The course, "Perspectives on Islam and Islamic Radicalism", which was suggestedand approved by the Joint Forces Staff College, caught the attention of several Islamic Groups, and they wanted to make an example of him. The Burger King national headquarters announced this month that they will be pulling their franchises from our military bases.  Soon
to follow will be Popeye's Chicken, Pizza franchises and the chain of barber and beauty
shops which operate inside the gates of our military facilities.
Reason?
Obama's mandate that all companies who do business with the Federal Government pay a $10.10 per hour minimum wage.
The companies cite the fact that a limited military customer base cannot sustain acceptable profit margins while still offering up a hefty share of their profits to The Army and Air Force Exchange System's Health and Morale fund and paying $10.10 an hour as Obama has dictated for any contractor doing business with the DOD.  

For those who don't know, hundreds of well known commercial franchises have operated on military bases for years and in some cases decades!  This partnership has been a boon to the non-profit AAFES system.  All profits go toward programs such as organized athletic programs for military personnel and their dependents.  That includes exercise equipment, support for social clubs and the like.  All programs that help military families get by on less pay and benefits than their civilian counterparts!
Coming at a time of tighter defense budgets the withdrawal of commercial franchises is going to  put quite a squeeze on the military health and morale programs - which are already at an all time low.

Morale in the military is terrible!  Ignore what Obama and company are telling you … the fact is morale among military personnel is incredibly low at this point in time!  

Every time a military grunt got a haircut, every time a military wife got a manicure or hair styling, with every burger or slice of pizza or piece of chicken, with ever dinner sold, a healthy portion of the profits went to this much needed and appreciated program.

NO MORE !!!  Not under Obama ...



Alas, as with all things Obama, every time he does something to please his socialist friends and haters of the military, someone suffers.  In this case it will be our  military.  AGAIN!  
While this will be a serious loss for our stateside
troops, the troops who will be most hurt by this are our troops deployed to remote areas of the world where our military folks had little to look
forward to but a Whopper and fries at a small concession that might bring a little bit of home to their lives ...

I am in Afghanistan right now, and we had a Burger King, and a Popeye's Chicken, and Pizza Hut (small and with a limited menu … but still food from home!) … but they are gone now!  And they disappeared at an alarming rate ...

This should not surprise me at all but it does.  I
should have been mentally prepared for this when Obama eliminated hot meals for our troops in the field here in Afghanistan.  There is still hot food (or rather a food like substance!) in the mess halls, but those are closing rapidly and they are getting more and more stingy with their servings every day!

All this is happening as The Lord God Obama and his Queen of the realm Michelle and his trusty minion Joe Biden were booking
$50,000 a night hotel suites in Paris and London and elsewhere around the world …

Obama shows an absolute and total disregard for the costs as he and Michelle have run up over during his tenure!  To date they have spent $600 million dollars in taxpayer funded vacations.  That is obscene !!!

Oh well, I understand the military's food research facility up in Illinois is working on "Pizza in a Pouch" for the new cold ration packs.  "Screw the Grunts" seems to be Obama's philosophy … even as he and Michelle host Jay Z and Beyonce and the Hollywood nitwits at almost weekly parties at the White House and private dinners they throw for celebrities … while snubbing the Queen of England and other international dignitaries !!!

Shameful, disgraceful, and despicable are the only words that I can think of to describe this lame excuse for a man ... and that woman he brought with him to the White House is the most embarrassing individual to ever represent this government as the First Lady … Michelle is a lame excuse for a lady too !!!

I said it a while back and I'll say it again:

"Electing Obama to the Presidency was like handing a 13 year old child with behavioral problems a credit card with no limit, the keys to your 500 hp sports car, a full bottle of Tequila, and telling him or her that no one will ever question anything they do, and there will never be any consequences for any of their actions!"

Anyone for president … and I mean anyone other than Obama !!!   Well, not Hillary or Biden or Kerry … oh Hell … elect anyone with a brain … PLEASE !!!

Does anyone remember Barack Obama's great promise of the campaign of 2012? He did not make a promise to America nor to Americans. He did not make a promise to fellow politicians. Unlike so many of his promises, he is keeping this one. His promise was to Vladimir Putin of Russia. What is Obama doing to keep his promise to Putin? Everyone remembers the hot mike incident in 2012 when Barack Obama pleaded with Russian President Dmitri Medvedyev to give him time until the election. After the election, he promised Vladimir Putin, through Medvedyev, he would be more "flexible."

 

Now we have seen this flexibility.

 

Barack Obama is going to spend almost $700 million dollars of taxpayer money to buy Russian helicopters for the Afghan Air Force. But wait. Just like those TV commercials, this gets better. When Congress passed the 2013 National Defense Authorization Act, it had an interesting provision. Congress included, as a part of that law a prohibition on the United States buying helicopters from Rosoboronexport, the Russian manufacturer of the Mi-17 helicopter.

 

Unfortunately as always happens, when such laws are passed, Congress always gives the Regime an escape hatch. The law stated that Obama could buy from Rosoboronexport if the Secretary of Defense certified it was in the interest of National Security. And of course, the Secretary of Defense, Chuck Hagel , a man committed to destroying the US military immediately signed off on that certification. Where do we even start with this one?

 

Congress is outraged over this with Senators and Representatives from both parties writing letters about this. Of course, this is Congress' fault for allowing a law to be written with such an escape hatch. More importantly, Americans need to be asking just what the hell the Obama Regime is doing.

 

Why are we spending $700 million dollars with a Russian arms manufacturer ? Why are we even giving the Afghans these helicopters?

 

If we are going to give them helicopters, which we really shouldn't, then why not give them American made helicopters and put Americans to work?

 

if we are going to give the Afghans Russian helicopters, the ones we are giving them are an old Cold War design. There are hundreds of used MI-17 helicopters floating around the world. Why are we paying to give the Afghans brand new helicopters?

 

In the era of the Sequester, isn't there something better we can do with $700 million? American Medicare cancer patients are being turned away from hospitals and are being denied life saving treatment because of budget cuts. The American military is being gutted to the point of ineffectiveness because of budget cuts.

 

Or consider this. The United States Air Force is grounding 17 squadrons because of $591 million dollars in budget cuts. Our Air Force is not able to do its mission because it lacks the money to fly but we have the money to give Afghanistan $700 million dollars in Russian helicopters.

 

And this is where Barack Obama thinks we should spend our money? Most people reading this story will not have heard about it. Why?

 

Because the Obama Propaganda Media is moving in lock step to make sure there is no bad news that might damage Obama's presidency.This is a story that should damage him and outrage every American.

 

The only way we will ever stop Obama is if the American people know what he is doing.

"We recognize President Obama is the commander-in-chief and that throughout history presidents from Lincoln to Truman have seen fit to remove military commanders they view as inadequate or insubordinate," Investor's Business Daily (IBD) observed.
"Yet what has happened to our officer corps since President Obama took office is viewed in many quarters as unprecedented, baffling, and even harmful to our national security posture."
Retired U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Paul Vallely believes Obama is "intentionally weakening and gutting our military and reducing us as a superpower, and anyone in the ranks who disagrees or speaks out is being purged."
According to Breitbart.com, at least 197 officers, mostly at the rank of colonel or above, have been relieved of duty for a variety of reasons, or for no stated reason at all.
Nine senior commanding generals have been fired by the administration this year, "leading to speculation by active and retired members of the military that a purge of its commanders is underway," IBD reported.
Among those officers:

Gen. Carter Ham was relieved as head of U.S. Africa Command because he disagreed with orders not to mount a rescue effort in response to the Sept. 11, 2012, attack on U.S. diplomatic personnel in Benghazi, Libya. Rear Adm. Charles Gaouette, commander of Carrier Strike Group Three, was relieved of duty in October 2012 for disobeying orders when he sent his group to assist and provide intelligence for forces ordered into action by Gen. Ham, according to IBD. Two nuclear commanders were fired in a single week — Maj. Gen. Michael Carey, head of the Air Force unit that maintains control of 450 intercontinental missiles, and Vice Adm. Tim Giardina, the No. 2 officer at U.S. Strategic Command. Carey was sacked "due to a loss of trust and confidence in his leadership and judgment," while Giardina lost his post for allegedly using counterfeit gambling chips at a casino. Maj. Gen. Ralph Baker, commander of the Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa, was fired for alcohol use and sexual misconduct charges. Defense officials told CNN the reason was “loss of confidence.” Marine Corps Maj. Gen. Charles Gurganus was terminated for questioning the "winning hearts and minds" policies that led to the murders of U.S. officers by Afghan recruits, according to FrontPage magazine. Maj. Gen. Peter Fuller was relieved of his command in Afghanistan after he told a media source that Afghan President Hamid Karzai and other government officials were "isolated from reality." On the last day of November 2011, the administration terminated 157 Air Force majors, citing budget shortfalls as the primary reason — a move that some legal experts said was illegal. According to IBD, a senior retired general said on the condition of anonymity that "they're using the opportunity of the shrinkage of the military to get rid of people that don't agree with them or do not toe the party line." FrontPage concluded: "Obama has made clear that he will aggressively pursue anyone who defies his agenda. Now it seems that chilling message has been sent to the military as well."
