For Christian American readers of this blog:

I wish to incite all Christians to rise up and take back the United States of America with all of God's manifold blessings. We want the free allowance of the Bible and prayers allowed again in schools, halls of justice, and all governing bodies. We don't seek a theocracy until Jesus returns to earth because all men are weak and power corrupts the very best of them.
We want to be a kinder and gentler people without slavery or condescension to any.

The world seems to be in a time of discontent among the populace. Christians should not fear. God is Love, shown best through Jesus Christ. God is still in control. All Glory to our Creator and to our God!

A favorite quote from my good friend, Jack Plymale, which I appreciate:

"Wars are planned by old men,in council rooms apart. They plan for greater armament, they map the battle chart, but: where sightless eyes stare out, beyond life's vanished joys, I've noticed, somehow, all the dead and mamed are hardly more than boys(Grantland Rice per our mutual friend, Sarah Rapp)."

Thanks Jack!

I must admit that I do not check authenticity of my posts. If anyone can tell me of a non-biased arbitrator, I will attempt to do so more regularly. I know of no such arbitrator for the internet.

Let' s get this started ,NOW!

So it will be out there on the fourth!

I PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG, OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA , AND TO THE REPUBLIC, FOR WHICH IT STANDS,

ONE NATION UNDER  GOD
,
 INDIVISIBLE, WITH   LIBERTY
AND JUSTICE FOR ALL!

KEEP IT LIT!!
KEEP IT LIT!
For all of our other military personnel, where ever they may be.

Please Support all of the troops defending our Country.

And God Bless our Military
who are protecting our Country for our Freedom.
Thanks to them, and their sacrifices, we can celebrate the 4th of  July.

We must never forget who gets the credit for the freedoms we have, of which we should be eternally grateful.

I watched the flag pass by one day.
It fluttered in the breeze.

A young Marine saluted it,
And then he stood at ease.

I looked at him in uniform;
so young, so tall, so proud.
With hair cut square and eyes alert,
he'd stand out in any crowd.

I thought how many men like him
had fallen through the years.
How many died on foreign soil;
  how many mothers' tears?

How many pilots' planes shot down?
How many died at sea?
How many foxholes were soldiers' graves?
NO, FREEDOM ISN'T FREE
!

I heard the sound of Taps one night,
when everything was still.
I listened to the bugler play
And felt a sudden chill.

I wondered just how many times
That Taps had meant 'Amen.'

When a flag had draped a coffin
of a brother or a friend.

I thought of all the children,
of the mothers and the wives,
of fathers, sons and husbands
With interrupted lives.

I thought about a graveyard
At the bottom of the sea.

Of unmarked graves in   Arlington .
NO FREEDOM ISN'T FREE

Enjoy Your Freedom   and
God Bless Our Troops.

When you receive this,

please stop for a moment
and say a prayer for our servicemen

Of all the gifts you could give a
U.S. Soldier, prayer is the very best one.
      God Bless all!

Service people fought for our freedoms and unthinking voters are letting freedoms go ... Thx Paul C!

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...
It's about learning to dance in the rain.
I totally agree with the whole text in this email, and Yes I stand UP...and will pass this message along
.
54F737F9-BC7A-44F8-BD84-47693B50010D
My Grandfather watched as his friends died in WW I...
My Father watched as his friends died in WW II and Korea ...
I watched as my friends died in Vietnam ...
None of them died for the Mexican Flag...
Everyone died for the U.S. Flag...
In Texas, a student raised a Mexican flag on a school flag pole; another student took it down.
Guess who was expelled... The kid who took it down.
Kids in high school in California were sent home this year on Cinco de Mayo because they wore T-shirts with the American flag printed on them.
Enough is enough.
The below e-mail message needs to be viewed by every American;
And every American needs to stand up for America. We've bent over to appease the America-haters long enough...I'm taking a stand...
I'm standing up because the hundreds of thousands who died fighting in wars for this country, and for the U.S. Flag can't stand up...
And shame on anyone who tries to make this a racist message...Let me make this perfectly clear!
THIS IS MY COUNTRY! And, because I make This statement DOES NOT Mean I'm against immigration!!! YOU ARE WELCOME HERE, IN MY COUNTRY!Welcome!
To come through legally:
1. Get a sponsor!
2. Get a place to lay your head!
3.Get a job!
4.Live By OUR Rules!
5.Pay YOUR Taxes!And
6.Learn the LANGUAGE like immigrants
Have in the past!!
7.Please don't demand that we hand over our lifetime Savings of Social Security Funds to you.
If you don't want to forward this for fear of offending someone, Then YOU'RE PART OF THE PROBLEM!
When will AMERICANS STOP giving away THEIR RIGHTS???
We've gone so far the other way... Bent over backwards not to offend anyone...
But it seems no one cares about the
AMERICAN CITIZEN being offended!
WAKE UP America !!!If You agree...
Pass this on...
If You don't agree...
Then Just Delete It -
But Shame On You!!!!

God Bless!
No free man shall ever be deprived the use of arms.

Love this teachwer ... Thanks Ramey

LOVE THIS TEACHER
Back in September of 2005, on the first day of school, Martha Cothren,
a social studies school teacher at Robinson High School in Little
Rock , did something not to be forgotten. On the first day of school,
with the permission of the school superintendent, the principal and the
building supervisor, she removed all of the desks out of her classroom.

When the first period kids entered the room they discovered that there
were no desks.

'Ms. Cothren, where're our desks?'

She replied, 'You can't have a desk until you tell me how you earn the right to
sit at a desk.'

They thought, 'Well, maybe it's our grades.'

'No,' she said.

'Maybe it's our behavior.'

She told them, 'No, it's not even your behavior.'

And so, they came and went, the first period, second
period, third period. Still no desks in the classroom.

By early afternoon television news crews had started
gathering in Ms. Cothren's classroom to report about this crazy teacher
who had taken all the desks out of her room.

The final period of the day came and as the puzzled students found
seats on the floor of the deskless classroom, Martha Cothren said,
'Throughout the day no one has been able to tell me just what he or
she has done to earn the right to sit at the desks that are ordinarily found
in this classroom. Now I am going to tell you.'

At this point, Martha Cothren went over to the door of her classroom and
opened it.

Twenty-seven (27) U.S. Veterans, all in uniforms, walked into that
classroom, each one carrying a school desk. The Vets began
placing the school desks in rows, and then they would walk over and stand
alongside the wall. By the time the last soldier had set the final desk
in place those kids started to understand, perhaps for the first time in
their lives, just how the right to sit at those desks had been earned..

Martha said, 'You didn't earn the right to sit at these desks. These
heroes did it for you. They placed the desks here for you. Now,
it's up to you to sit in them. It is your responsibility to learn, to be
good students, to be good citizens. They paid the price so that you
could have the freedom to get an education. Don't ever forget it.'

By the way, this is a true story. And this teacher was awarded
Teacher of the Year for the state of Arkansas in 2006.

Please consider passing this along so others won't forget either
that the freedoms we have in this great country were earned by U. S.
Veterans. Always remember them and the rights they have won for us.
Blessings abound in the USA!
