I am not for elitist representatives but I am much more against anybody doing senseless acts such as the shooter did in Arizona today.
God have mercy on all of the victims and their families.

Welcome
Welcome to my blog http://www.skegley.blogspot.com/ . CAVEAT LECTOR- Let the reader beware. This is a Christian Conservative blog. It is not meant to offend anyone. Please feel free to ignore this blog, but also feel free to browse and comment on my posts! You may also scroll down to respond to any post.
For Christian American readers of this blog:
I wish to incite all Christians to rise up and take back the United States of America with all of God's manifold blessings. We want the free allowance of the Bible and prayers allowed again in schools, halls of justice, and all governing bodies. We don't seek a theocracy until Jesus returns to earth because all men are weak and power corrupts the very best of them.
We want to be a kinder and gentler people without slavery or condescension to any.
The world seems to be in a time of discontent among the populace. Christians should not fear. God is Love, shown best through Jesus Christ. God is still in control. All Glory to our Creator and to our God!
A favorite quote from my good friend, Jack Plymale, which I appreciate:
"Wars are planned by old men,in council rooms apart. They plan for greater armament, they map the battle chart, but: where sightless eyes stare out, beyond life's vanished joys, I've noticed, somehow, all the dead and mamed are hardly more than boys(Grantland Rice per our mutual friend, Sarah Rapp)."
Thanks Jack!
I must admit that I do not check authenticity of my posts. If anyone can tell me of a non-biased arbitrator, I will attempt to do so more regularly. I know of no such arbitrator for the internet.

More Jack H Plymale-former Portsmouth Trojan 'pointyballer'
Sam, I am not a falsely modest person, I was never a talented athlete, honestly. I loved playing sports and the comraderie. I probably played football better than anything else, but that was "want to" and pure guts. I am sure everybody likes to be remembered fondly by their buddies,as I remember them.. If I can be remembered as a person you could count on, that would be more than enough. Jack P.
UK's Brandon Knight and Jack H Plymale on 'bounceyball'
I love the game of basketball, Jack! Today UK plays a FB game at noon vs. Pittsburgh and a bounceyball game at 4 at Georgia. The FB game is on ESPN . You could possibly catch the GA. game since FL and Costa Rica are in the south with the SEC. I have to pay extra for ESPN Full Court, which I do, of course.
I played a fair basketball game at Highland School, but did not make the Trojans to my great dismay. With the older fellows I hung with a lot, Clark Rapalee and I made a dynamic duo! Bob and Bill Gilmer, Eddie Hill, Howard Rase, and Gib Lakeman were just great people among those older friends of mine.
You "dumb old linemen", like I was in Highland grade school FB, normally weren't 'shifty' enough to compete on the Highland court, Jack. Our friend, Gib, could fire up the ball as he had also previously done for the Trojan bkb teams, while he continued entertaining any who stood around the court. Gib absolutely touted the 'trench guys' for any team he ever played with and I heard of Jack Plymale from him.

Sam, it sounds like everyone is going to have a good time in Lexington this year. Calipari is a guy with a lot of demensions. I know you can't wait to get an up close look. I envy you, I never could play bouncey ball very well but I admired the heck out of guys who could. Thanks for the article. Jack P

There are so many reasons why this Kentucky team has gotten better since they first threw the ball up.
Some players have already exceeded logical expectations. You could fill in the blanks with a number of UK players, but Josh Harrellson obviously would win that award.
But, if you are looking for one shining star, it could be the new general of the team.
"Brandon, I'm so proud of him," says Cal.
"How many of you were in Hawaii with us? Different player isn't it? Different player. And that's what you want to see guys who want to change and want to get better."
The Cats look like they are ready to roll through the SEC.
"Because Brandon is really running our team and playing for his teammates, he's not playing for himself anymore. He's playing for them. He can say anything he wants now. Early in the season, you can't speak much. Looking at you like man, come on, how about passing the ball?"
Brandon appreciates Cal the teacher and Cal the coach who sees the change in his point guard.
"It makes me feel good just to know that coach sees me a little bit differently now than he did at the beginning of the season," says Brandon Knight.
"And like I said, I give God glory and I just want to continue to trying to get my teammates involved and to make sure I'm looking at everybody else and making sure I'm letting my other teammates getting them to play better. Putting them in the right positions to make the right plays and stuff like that."
Knight not only is getting the ball where Doron Lamb likes it, but he yells at him to shoot.
"He let's us know what we are doing wrong," says Lamb.
"He's doing that right now and that's why we are winning games."
It's all part of the process of putting a team together.
"I think my teammates always respected me," says Knight.
"I think maybe a little bit more so now because we got to know each other a lot more and we're becoming more and more of a family, so maybe a little bit more, now that we bonded a little bit more. When I say something everyone is listening when we huddle up and everyone is in tune when we are trying to figure out what we are doing."
Twice during a four minute interview session with Knight, he praised God for his success.
