For Christian American readers of this blog:

I wish to incite all Christians to rise up and take back the United States of America with all of God's manifold blessings. We want the free allowance of the Bible and prayers allowed again in schools, halls of justice, and all governing bodies. We don't seek a theocracy until Jesus returns to earth because all men are weak and power corrupts the very best of them.
We want to be a kinder and gentler people without slavery or condescension to any.

The world seems to be in a time of discontent among the populace. Christians should not fear. God is Love, shown best through Jesus Christ. God is still in control. All Glory to our Creator and to our God!

A favorite quote from my good friend, Jack Plymale, which I appreciate:

"Wars are planned by old men,in council rooms apart. They plan for greater armament, they map the battle chart, but: where sightless eyes stare out, beyond life's vanished joys, I've noticed, somehow, all the dead and mamed are hardly more than boys(Grantland Rice per our mutual friend, Sarah Rapp)."

Thanks Jack!

I must admit that I do not check authenticity of my posts. If anyone can tell me of a non-biased arbitrator, I will attempt to do so more regularly. I know of no such arbitrator for the internet.

Pop Quiz ... excellent professor , kinda like Mars Fontana who taught "Corrosion Principles at OSU ... Thx Sarah R and Friends!

You have many exceptional friends, Sarah DuPuy Rapp.  Your older cousin, Henrietta, was such an exceptional math teacher at PHS.  T. J. is exceptional as you certainly are.  Jack Playmate, the old Trojan lineman,  thought a lot of Keith Booker, who played on Portsmouth basketball teams.

Portsmouth is the cultural center of our universe.  Thx for the good emails, Sarah!

2 % and I still don't understand how this works ... thx Ramey H!

I’m in the 98% (don’t understand how this works)

At the end of this message, you are asked a question. Answer it immediately.
Don't stop and think about it. Just say the first thing that pops into your mind.
This is a fun 'test'... AND kind of spooky at the same time! Give it a try, Then e-mail it around (including back to me) And you'll see how many people you know fall into the same percentage as you..

Be sure to put in the subject line if you are among the 98% or the 2%. You'll understand what that means after you finish taking the 'test..'

Now - just follow the instructions as quickly as possible. Do not go to the next calculation before you have finished the previous one..

You do not even need to write or remember the answers, Just do it using your mind.. You'll be surprised..

Start: How much is: 15 + 6

21

3 + 56

59

89 + 2

91

12 + 53

65

75 + 26

101

25 + 52

77

63 + 32

95

I know! Calculations are hard work, but it's nearly over..

Come on, one more! ....

123 + 5

128

QUICK! THINK ABOUT
A COLOR AND A TOOL!

Scroll further to the bottom....

A bit more...

You just thought about a
red hammer, didn't you?

If this is not your answer,
you are among 2% of people who have  a different, if not abnormal, mind.

98% of the folks would answer a
Red hammer while doing this exercise.

If you do not believe this,
pass it around and you'll see.

Be sure to put in the subject line if you
are among the 98% or the 2% and send to everyone, including the person that sent it to you.

Simple current events type quiz ... Thanks Ramey H!

This is a fair enough quiz, Ramey, but you missed only one and I missed four.

Sam

> This is a fun quiz.
>     This is a pretty good test.  It sure indicates that the majority of
> Americans don't know what's going on.
> It's astonishing that so many people (25%) got less than half right.
> These results say that 80% of the (voting) public doesn't have a clue and
> that's pretty scary.
> There are no tricks here. Just a simple test to see if you are current on
> your information.
>
> *Test your knowledge with 13 questions, and then be ready to shudder when
> you see how others did.*

Yes ... thanks Clay!

This is a great test of your mental agility at any age, but especially for "mature" citizens such as yours truly. Keep it going to friends and family.

If you can do this, pass it on to friends with the word YES in the subject, but only if you can read this.

A Short Neurological Test

1- Find the C below..
Please do not use any cursor help.

This is NOT a joke. If you were able to pass these 3 tests, you can cancel your annual visit to your neurologist. Your brain is great and you're far from having a close relationship with Alzheimer's.

Congratulations!
