We want the free allowance of the Bible and prayers allowed again in schools, halls of justice, and all governing bodies. We don't seek a theocracy until Jesus returns to earth because all men are weak and power corrupts the very best of them.
We want to be a kinder and gentler people without slavery or condescension to any.

The world seems to be in a time of discontent among the populace. Christians should not fear. God is Love, shown best through Jesus Christ. God is still in control. All Glory to our Creator and to our God!

Serious Malfeasance in office ... Thx Bob & Martha M and Sarah R!

What is wrong with this picture?

The picture is of the five first line US nuclear carriers docked together in one place. Just like Battleship Row, Pearl Harbor , December 7, 1941.
This picture was taken the February 2014 in Norfolk , Virginia … Obama ordered 5 nuclear carriers into harbor for "routine" (?) inspections. Heads of the Navy were flabbergasted by the directive but had to comply as it was a direct order from their Commander-in-Chief.

The carriers were all pulled out from the MIDDLE EAST and the Afghanistan support role leaving our land forces naked and exposed!

NORFOLK, VA. (February 8, 2014). This is the first time since WWII that five nuclear powered aircraft carriers were docked together. USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69), USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77), USS Enterprise (CVN 65), USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75), and USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) are all in port at Naval Station Norfolk , Va. , the world’s largest naval station.

Knowledgeable Sources stated that this breached a long standing military protocol in the Navy meant to avoid a massive enemy strike on major US forces.

Obama is ‘Commander in chief’.
This ordering of most of the Navy's capitol ships into one place is unprecedented since Pearl Harbor !  This could be the creation of a false flag atomic incident too stupid for any enemy to pass up.

Since Barack Obama has been in the White House, high ranking military officers have been removed from their positions at a rate that is absolutely unprecedented.
 Things have gotten so bad that a number of retired generals are publicly speaking out about the 'purg' of the U.S. military that they believe is taking place. As you will see below, dozens of highly decorated military leaders have been dismissed from their positions over the past few years. So why is this happening? What is going on right now is absolutely crazy especially during a time of peace. Is there a deliberate attempt to reshape the military and remove those who don't adhere to the proper 'viewpoints' ? Does someone out there feel a need to get officers that won't cooperate out of the way?
Throughout world history, whatever comes next after a military purge is never good.
If this continues, what is the U.S. military going to look like in a few years?
Perhaps you are reading this and you think that 'purge' is too strong a word for what is taking place. Well, justconsider the following quotes from some very highly decorated retired officers:
-Retired Army Major General Paul VallelyThe White House protects their own. That's why they stalled on the investigation into fast and furious, Benghazi and Obamacare. He's intentionally weakening and gutting our military, Pentagon and reducing us as a superpower, and anyone in the ranks who disagrees or speaks out is being purged.
 -Retired Army Major General Patrick BradyThere is no doubt he (Obama) is intent on emasculating the military and will fire anyone who disagrees with him.
-Retired Army Lt. General William G. Jerry BoykinOver the past three years, it is unprecedented for the number of four-star generals to be relieved of duty, and not necessarily relieved for cause.
-Retired Navy Captain Joseph John: I believe there are more than 137 officers who have been forced out or given bad evaluation reports so they will never make Flag (officer), because of their failure to comply to certain views.
A Pentagon official who asked to remain nameless because they were not authorized to speak on the matter saideven young officers, down through the ranks have been told not to talk about Obama or the politics of the White House. They are purging everyone and if you want to keep your job just keep your mouth shut. Now this trend appears to be accelerating.

No insider trading laws for Congress signed by obama

I know the politicians in Washington (both parties) certainly hold themselves “above the law”.  Now it turns out they want to provide that same protection to their staffs and aides and etc!  The corruption and deceit is so thick you can cut it with a hammer—no need to use a knife!!
I’m sending this to my Senators and Congressman and will probably get a form letter /email response that says exactly nothing!!  Suggest you send it around and do the same.
 
Congress Quickly And Quietly Rolls Back Insider Trading Rules For Itself

In November of 2011, the TV show 60 Minutes did a big expose on insider trading within Congress. While everyone else is subject to basic insider trading rules, it turned out that members of Congress were exempt from the rules. And, as you would imagine, many in Congress have access to market-moving, non-public information. And they made use of it. To make lots and lots of money. Of course, after that report came out and got lots of attention, Congress had to act, and within months they had passed the STOCK Act with overwhelming support in Congress to make insider trading laws that apply to everyone else finally apply to Congress and Congressional staffers as well. As that link notes:
The lopsided votes showed lawmakers desperate to regain public trust in an election year, when the public approval rating of Congress has sunk below 15 percent.
Of course, here we are in 2013 and, lo and behold, it is no longer an election year. And apparently some of the details of the ban on insider trading were beginning to chafe Congressional staffers, who found it hard to pad their income with some friendly trades on insider knowledge.

So... with very little fanfare, Congress quietly rolled back a big part of the law late last week. Specifically the part that required staffers to post disclosures about their financial transactions, so that the public could make sure there was no insider trading going on. Congress tried to cover up this fairly significant change because they, themselves, claimed that it would pose a "national risk" to have this information public. A national risk to their bank accounts.

It was such a national risk that Congress did the whole thing quietly, with no debate. The bill was introduced in the Senate on Thursday and quickly voted on late that night when no one was paying attention. Friday afternoon (the best time to sneak through news), the House picked it up by unanimous consent. The House ignored its own promise to give Congress three days to read a bill before holding a vote, because this kind of thing is too important to let anyone read the bill before Congress had to pass it.

And, of course, yesterday, President Obama signed it into law.

Yesterday President Obama signed a law that gutted the reporting requirements originally included in the Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge (STOCK) Act. Before these changes were made the STOCK Act required congressional staffers to disclose their finances to the public to help ensure they were not engaging in corrupt practices.
But on second thought, President Obama and Congress decided that congressional staffers should be able to escape transparency.
President Obama quietly signed legislation Monday that rolled back a provision of the STOCK Act that required high-ranking federal employees to disclose their financial information online.
The White House announced Monday that the president had signed S. 716, which repealed a requirement of the Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge (STOCK) Act requiring the disclosure, which had previously been delayed several times by Congress.
You never heard of this political project to reinstate corruption incentives? Don’t be surprised.
Both chambers of Congress quickly — and near silently — approved the repeal legislation at the end of last week by unanimous consent, just before heading home to their districts.
That’s right. Unanimous consent, no one wanted to put their name down as openly supporting corruption while supporting corruption. And now President Obama has signed the bill guaranteeing a more corrupt Washington.

Amid all the barbecues and
fireworks today in the Land of the Free, it may be worth a short
pause to remember the words of Thomas Jefferson some 237-years
ago:

"We hold these truths to be
self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed
by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these
are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

"That to secure these
rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just
powers from the consent of the governed,"

"That whenever any Form of
Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the
People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government,
laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers
in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their
Safety and Happiness."

Powerful stuff.
In one of the most eloquent
treatises in history, Jefferson lays out that human beings are born
free. And that we create governments in order to stay free.

Further, whenever governments
become destructive to this effort, human beings have a right to
dissolve the government and create a new one.

Jefferson then lays out an
entire laundry list of grievances against the British King that have
compelled the colonists to throw off the chains of tyranny and form
a new government. This "long train of abuses" includes:

  • He has
    erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of
    Officers to harass our people, and eat out their substance.
  • He has
    obstructed the Administration of Justice
  • He is at
    this time transporting large Armies of foreign Mercenaries to
    complete the works of death, desolation and tyranny
  • For taking
    away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws, and altering
    fundamentally the Forms of our Governments
As the modern, dysfunctional
version of the US government has become little better than the court
of King George III, one might make the exact same arguments
today.

  • They have
    used the power and intimidation of tax authorities to bully
    political opposition groups.
  • They have
    authorized the military detention and drone assassination of their
    own citizens.
  • They have
    indebted future generations who will not be born for decades, and
    squandered the nations wealth on fraud, waste, and foreign
    military folly.
  • They have
    destroyed the primary function of the free market by awarding
    supreme monetary authority to a tiny banking elite.
  • They have
    passed tomes of new laws and regulations which criminalize
    everything from collecting rainwater to childhood lemonade
    stands.
I'm sure you would have a
several more to add to this list. And I'd be curious to hear from
you about it.

By Jefferson's own standard, it
seems rather clear that the government-- most governments-- have
become destructive against their higher purpose: to safeguard the
people's liberty.

Today shouldn't be a
celebration... it should be a memorial service. Or at least a time
to reflect heavily-- when will enough finally be enough? When will
it be time to act?
