Conservative radio host Laura Ingraham is weighing an offer to bePresident-elect Donald Trump's White House press secretary, but sights on a greater role might be holding her up, Politico reported Friday.
A source told Politico she would like a role larger than being the media liaison. She would like to affect policymaking, too, according to the report.
Politico also named Fox News analyst Monica Crowley as a candidate for the White House press secretary post, citing a source inside "Trump's inner circle."
Ingraham has said she is "honored to be considered."
"It's a big decision, but I'm at the point where, if my country needs me, and if I can do something to actually, you know, advance the Trump agenda, which is stuff I have written about now for 15 years – with trade, immigration and just renewing America – then I obviously have to seriously consider that," Ingraham told Fox News' "Tucker Carlson Tonight" on Nov. 14.
