For Christian American readers of this blog:

I wish to incite all Christians to rise up and take back the United States of America with all of God's manifold blessings. We want the free allowance of the Bible and prayers allowed again in schools, halls of justice, and all governing bodies. We don't seek a theocracy until Jesus returns to earth because all men are weak and power corrupts the very best of them.
We want to be a kinder and gentler people without slavery or condescension to any.

The world seems to be in a time of discontent among the populace. Christians should not fear. God is Love, shown best through Jesus Christ. God is still in control. All Glory to our Creator and to our God!

A favorite quote from my good friend, Jack Plymale, which I appreciate:

"Wars are planned by old men,in council rooms apart. They plan for greater armament, they map the battle chart, but: where sightless eyes stare out, beyond life's vanished joys, I've noticed, somehow, all the dead and mamed are hardly more than boys(Grantland Rice per our mutual friend, Sarah Rapp)."

Thanks Jack!

I must admit that I do not check authenticity of my posts. If anyone can tell me of a non-biased arbitrator, I will attempt to do so more regularly. I know of no such arbitrator for the internet.

Vote Trump -,Most of my family and the young probably won't ... SamKat aka Sam Kegley

Why oh Why?

I am an outlier in my family's statistical data.

I am happy to tell anyone that my blue-collar dad and my mother of ten kids were outstanding, not wealthy, people.  Salt of the earth, which I most respect to this day.  I call myself a Christian conservative and in the introduction to this SamKat blog skegley.blogspot.com I declare that.

Many of my family declare themselves to be Christian, but few seem to adapt to the conservative ideals, particularly in politics.

The USA is two hundred, forty years old and we have slipped too far from what our intelligent and dedicated founders intended us to be.  In my opinion, it would have been wonderful for term limits in politics to be established in the beginning of our republic.  Ideally, few people would become professional politicians.  Rather, they would run for office, do the good things they can for those they represent, then return to their private careers in caring for their own families with their best efforts.

Perks for the voted-ins came along and have advanced so far more than the represented society.  The rock stars have achieved power in politics.  A freshman representative or senator quickly sees the power they have been given and none are altruistic to give things back to the people.  An insufficiently vetted person can and has become POTUS.  He has changed our willingness to have freedom of religion to freedom for one religion preferentially among many other destructive things.

Many in my family do not care.  Most young Americans do not know or care.

I have a sickness of enjoying estate or garage sales and I have visited the richer and poorer neighborhoods around Columbus and its' suburbs.  Many palatial dwellings in the suburbs would make potentates of countries prior to our country's history quite envious.  It seems the dwellers and their kids take this thing of being born and raised in the greatest country on God's green earth for granted.  It was there before them and it will always be.  Maybe it won't be for very much longer.

So many American families are similar to mine.  We old fogeys are just out of step. I have been to only a couple of tea party events, but I notice that those are the salt of the earth people we grew up with in the once home town area of Portsmouth, Ohio, USA.

The elitists of each political party have reached a comfort level they don't want to give up, particularly in our federal government.  I read somewhere that there hasn't been a system on earth which selfishness has not destroyed.  Our elitists today in the two parties (more parties stand no chance of winning) do not intend to relinquish their perks of office.

I do blame the reps.  The hard working and conscientious citizens of America have only recently gathered their too-forgiving selves to the point that a movement has been started. And Donald Trump, a richer than most of the populist citizen, came along, obtained more republican primary voters than any party has ever witnessed and the movement responded.  American citizens were angry with the federal elitists who cannot accept that.  The party on the left enjoys the power they have in buying votes by the continual give-aways to groups who don't contribute to making America return to greatness.  The 'bought' citizenry was made up of a majority of takers from rather than givers to in returning our expected free society.

My half-brother, Ted, served in battles of WW II, my brother, Bud, served in Germany in peace time, I served during the Korean, and Jim and Paul had short service stints.  George's congenitally defective feet kept him out, but the point is that in merely being in service we signed over the possibility of death or life-spent wounds to our American government.

I appreciate only the altruistic of our federal leaders, because the elitists want only their perpetuated powers rather than a free America such as we once enjoyed.

The 'I don't know and I don't care people' should wake up in my opinion.  What the vast citizenry have enjoyed will not continue so long as long term debt and more give aways continue.

This is the time for all good citizens to awake and vote for Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential.  The right much more than the left tend to represent us.   At least we will begin a return.

This fogey may not live a whole lot longer, but I would like to see the dreams of my family members and all right-thinking nation have a chance for that realization.

I truly don't worry because I know that God is in control.  Yes, Jesus told me so.
