For Christian American readers of this blog:
I wish to incite all Christians to rise up and take back the United States of America with all of God's manifold blessings. We want the free allowance of the Bible and prayers allowed again in schools, halls of justice, and all governing bodies. We don't seek a theocracy until Jesus returns to earth because all men are weak and power corrupts the very best of them.
We want to be a kinder and gentler people without slavery or condescension to any.
The world seems to be in a time of discontent among the populace. Christians should not fear. God is Love, shown best through Jesus Christ. God is still in control. All Glory to our Creator and to our God!
A favorite quote from my good friend, Jack Plymale, which I appreciate:
"Wars are planned by old men,in council rooms apart. They plan for greater armament, they map the battle chart, but: where sightless eyes stare out, beyond life's vanished joys, I've noticed, somehow, all the dead and mamed are hardly more than boys(Grantland Rice per our mutual friend, Sarah Rapp)."
Thanks Jack!
I must admit that I do not check authenticity of my posts. If anyone can tell me of a non-biased arbitrator, I will attempt to do so more regularly. I know of no such arbitrator for the internet.

European tax rates
Ah Luis, any politician who has raised tax money, ANY TAX, are not our representatives. Such politicians are simply government ordained thieves. We have had many such elitists during the 20th and 21st century from both sides of our political spectrum, mostly federal, but state and local as well. Most are from the left! Enough!

Current European tax rates - - PRETTY AMAZING !
American Friends;
Current European tax rates - - PRETTY AMAZING !
The table below is completely accurate. It shows the combined Income Tax and Value Added Tax (Sales Tax) rates of virtually every country in Europe . These countries all have, over the years, evolved into and adopted Socialistic forms of government. Some are attempting to reverse it, now that they have realized it doesn't work. The only form of government that has ever been proven to work for the people, without collapse, is the one we have had in the United States, a country of Free Individuals with a Capitalistic Free Enterprise Economic System and a limited Federal Government. If WE allow Barack Obama and his Socialistic Progressive Liberals to have their way and remain in power, what you read below is exactly where WE are headed. Please read it with an open mind and ask your self, is this what I want my family and country to be subjected to, is this where I want to go? Every American must take a stand one way or the other. The question WE are faced with is not about Democrat or Republican. It is about Socialism and an Unlimited Bigger Government financed with excessive and unreasonable taxation, or Individual Freedom and Free Enterprise, and a Limited Smaller Government financed with less taxation.
May God bless America and help OUR efforts to remain a free people.

France Income Tax: 40% VAT: 19.6% TOTAL: 59.6%

Spain Income Tax: 45% VAT: 16% TOTAL: 61%
Portugal Income Tax: 42% VAT: 20% TOTAL: 62%
Sweden Income Tax: 55% VAT: 25% TOTAL: 80%
Norway Income Tax: 54.3% VAT: 25% TOTAL: 79.3%
Netherlands Income Tax: 52% VAT: 19% TOTAL: 71%

Finland Income Tax: 53% VAT: 22% TOTAL: 75%
If you’ve started to wonder what the real costs of socialism are going to be - once the full program in these United States hits your wallet, take a look at the table. As you digest these mind-boggling figures, keep in mind that in spite of these astronomical tax rates, these countries are still not financing their social welfare programs exclusively from tax revenues! They are deeply mired in public debt of gargantuan proportions. Greece has reached the point where its debt is so huge it is in imminent danger of defaulting. That is the reason the European economic community has intervened to bail them out. If you’re following the financial news, you know Spain and Portugal are right behind Greece .
The United States is now heading right down the same path. The VAT tax in the table is the national sales tax that Europeans pay. Stay tuned because that is exactly what you can expect to see the administration proposing after the fall elections. The initial percentage in the United States isn’t going to be anywhere near the outrageous numbers you now see in Europe . Guess what… the current outrageous numbers in Europe didn’t start out as outrageous either. They started out as miniscule - right around the 1% or 2% where they will start out in the United States . Magically, however, they ran up over the years to where they are now. Expect the same thing here.
It is the very notion that with hard work and perseverance, anybody can get ahead economically here in the USA . Do you think that can ever happen with tax rates between 60% and 80%? Think again. With the government taking that percentage of your money, your life will be exactly like life in Europe . You will never be able to buy a home. You will never buy a car. You will never send your children to college. Let’s not shuffle the battle cry of the socialists under the rug either. It’s always the same cry. Equalize income. Spread the wealth to the poor (whoever they are). Level the economic playing field. Accomplish that and everything will be rosy.
It’s time to take a really hard look at reality. Greece is a perfect example. Despite the socialism system that has ruled this country for decades, with a 65% tax rate, they are drowning in public debt, would have defaulted without hundreds of billions in bailout money from the EU, and still. . . 20% of their population lives in poverty. What has all that socialism money bought, besides ultimate power for the politicians running the show? Do you think these people are "free"? They're not. They are slaves to their economic "system."
Instead of spreading the wealth around, spread this info around. It might wake up some people.

America's strength declines
America's strength declines. Thanks Luis Flores
Changes are coming
WHILE OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS SLEEP:
CHANGES ARE COMING ----
Whether these changes are good or bad depends in part on how we adapt to them. But, ready or not, here they come:
1. The Post Office. Get ready to imagine a world without the post office. They are so deeply in financial trouble that there is probably no way to sustain it long term. Email, Fed Ex, and UPS have just about wiped out the minimum revenue needed to keep the post office alive. Most of your mail every day is junk mail and bills.
2. The Check. Britain is already laying the groundwork to do away with checks by 2018. It costs the financial system billions of dollars a year to process checks. Plastic cards and online transactions will lead to the eventual demise of the check. This plays right into the death of the post office. If you never paid your bills by mail and never received them by mail, the post office would absolutely go out of business.
3. The Newspaper. The younger generation simply doesn't read the newspaper. They certainly don't subscribe to a daily delivered print edition. That may go the way of the milkman and the laundry man. As for reading the paper online, get ready to pay for it. The rise in mobile Internet devices and e-readers has caused all the newspaper and magazine publishers to form an alliance. They have met with Apple, Amazon, and the major cell phone companies to develop a model for paid subscription services.
4. The Book. You say you will never give up the physical book that you hold in your hand and turn the literal pages. I said the same thing about downloading music fromiTunes. I wanted my hard copy CD. But I quickly changed my mind when I discovered that I could get albums for half the price without ever leaving home to get the latest music. The same thing will happen with books. You can browse a bookstore online and even read a preview chapter before you buy. And the price is less than half that of a real book. And think of the convenience! Once you start flicking your fingers on the screen instead of the book, you find that you are lost in the story, can't wait to see what happens next, and you forget that you're holding a gadget instead of a book.
5. The Land Line Telephone. Unless you have a large family and make a lot of local calls, you don't need it anymore. Most people keep it simply because they've always had it. But you are paying double charges for that extra service. All the cell phone companies will let you call customers using the same cell provider for no charge against your minutes.
6. Music. This is one of the saddest parts of the change story. The music industry is dying a slow death. Not just because of illegal downloading. It's the lack of innovative new music being given a chance to get to the people who would like to hear it. Greed and corruption is the problem. The record labels and the radio conglomerates are simply self-destructing. Over 40% of the music purchased today is "catalog items," meaning traditional music that the public is familiar with. Older established artists. This is also true on the live concert circuit. To explore this fascinating and disturbing topic further, check out the book, "Appetite for Self-Destruction" by Steve Knopper, and the video documentary, "Before the Music Dies."
7. Television. Revenues to the networks are down dramatically. Not just because of the economy. People are watching TV and movies streamed from their computers. And they're playing games and doing lots of other things that take up the time that used to be spent watching TV. Prime time shows have degenerated down to lower than the lowest common denominator. Cable rates are skyrocketing and commercials run about every 4 minutes and 30 seconds. I say good riddance to most of it. It's time for the cable companies to be put out of our misery. Let the people choose what they want to watch online and through Netflix.
8. The "Things" That You Own. Many of the very possessions that we used to own are still in our lives, but we may not actually own them in the future. They may simply reside in "the cloud." Today your computer has a hard drive and you store your pictures, music, movies, and documents. Your software is on a CD or DVD, and you can always re-install it if need be. But all of that is changing. Apple, Microsoft, and Google are all finishing up their latest "cloud services." That means that when you turn on a computer, the Internet will be built into the operating system. So, Windows, Google, and the Mac OS will be tied straight into the Internet. If you click an icon, it will open something in the Internet cloud. If you save something, it will be saved to the cloud. And you may pay a monthly subscription fee to the cloud provider. In this virtual world, you can access your music or your books, or your whatever from any laptop or handheld device. That's the good news. But, will you actually own any of this "stuff" or will it all be able to disappear at any moment in a big "Poof?" Will most of the things in our lives be disposable and whimsical? It makes you want to run to the closet and pull out that photo album, grab a book from the shelf, or open up a CD case and pull out the insert.
9. Privacy. If there ever was a concept that we can look back on nostalgically, it would be privacy. That's gone. It's been gone for a long time anyway. There are cameras on the street, in most of the buildings, and even built into your computer and cell phone. But you can be sure that 24/7, "They" know who you are and where you are, right down to the GPS coordinates, and the Google Street View. If you buy something, your habit is put into a zillion profiles, and your ads will change to reflect those habits. And "They" will try to get you to buy something else. Again and again. All we will have that can't be changed are Memories.

19 Facts About The Deindustrialization Of America That Will Blow Your Mind
The United States is rapidly becoming the very first "post-industrial" nation on the globe. All great economic empires eventually become fat and lazy and squander the great wealth that their forefathers have left them, but the pace at which America is accomplishing this is absolutely amazing. It was America that was at the forefront of the industrial revolution. It was America that showed the world how to mass produce everything from automobiles to televisions to airplanes. It was the great American manufacturing base that crushed Germany and Japan in World War II.
But now we are witnessing the deindustrialization of America . Tens of thousands of factories have left the United States in the past decade alone. Millions upon millions of manufacturing jobs have been lost in the same time period. The United States has become a nation that consumes everything in sight and yet produces increasingly little. Do you know what our biggest export is today? Waste paper. Yes, trash is the number one thing that we ship out to the rest of the world as we voraciously blow our money on whatever the rest of the world wants to sell to us. The United States has become bloated and spoiled and our economy is now just a shadow of what it once was. Once upon a time America could literally out produce the rest of the world combined. Today that is no longer true, but Americans sure do consume more than anyone else in the world. If the deindustrialization of America continues at this current pace, what possible kind of a future are we going to be leaving to our children?
Any great nation throughout history has been great at making things. So if the United States continues to allow its manufacturing base to erode at a staggering pace how in the world can the U.S. continue to consider itself to be a great nation? We have created the biggest debt bubble in the history of the world in an effort to maintain a very high standard of living, but the current state of affairs is not anywhere close to sustainable. Every single month America goes into more debt and every single month America gets poorer.
So what happens when the debt bubble pops?
The deindustrialization of the United States should be a top concern for every man, woman and child in the country. But sadly, most Americans do not have any idea what is going on around them.
For people like that, take this article and print it out and hand it to them. Perhaps what they will read below will shock them badly enough to awaken them from their slumber.
The following are 19 facts about the deindustrialization of America that will blow your mind....
#1 The United States has lost approximately 42,400 factories since 2001. About 75 percent of those factories employed over 500 people when they were still in operation.
#2 Dell Inc., one of America ’s largest manufacturers of computers, has announced plans to dramatically expand its operations in China with an investment of over $100 billion over the next decade.
#3 Dell has announced that it will be closing its last large U.S. manufacturing facility in Winston-Salem , North Carolina in November. Approximately 900 jobs will be lost.
#4 In 2008, 1.2 billion cell phones were sold worldwide. So how many of them were manufactured inside the United States ? Zero.
#5 According to a new study conducted by the Economic Policy Institute, if the U.S. trade deficit with China continues to increase at its current rate, the U.S. economy will lose over half a million jobs this year alone.
#6 As of the end of July, the U.S. trade deficit with China had risen 18 percent compared to the same time period a year ago.
#7 The United States has lost a total of about 5.5 million manufacturing jobs since October 2000.
#8 According to Tax Notes, between 1999 and 2008 employment at the foreign affiliates of U.S. parent companies increased an astounding 30 percent to 10.1 million. During that exact same time period, U.S. employment at American multinational corporations declined 8 percent to 21.1 million.
#9 In 1959, manufacturing represented 28 percent of U.S. economic output. In 2008, it represented 11.5 percent.
#10 Ford Motor Company recently announced the closure of a factory that produces the Ford Ranger in St. Paul , Minnesota . Approximately 750 good paying middle class jobs are going to be lost because making Ford Rangers in Minnesota does not fit in with Ford's new "global" manufacturing strategy.
#11 As of the end of 2009, less than 12 million Americans worked in manufacturing. The last time less than 12 million Americans were employed in manufacturing was in 1941.
#12 In the United States today, consumption accounts for 70 percent of GDP. Of this 70 percent, over half is spent on services.
#13 The United States has lost a whopping 32 percent of its manufacturing jobs since the year 2000.
#14 In 2001, the United States ranked fourth in the world in per capita broadband Internet use. Today it ranks 15th.
#15 Manufacturing employment in the U.S. computer industry is actually lower in 2010 than it was in 1975.
#16 Printed circuit boards are used in tens of thousands of different products. Asia now produces 84 percent of them worldwide.
#17 The United States spends approximately $3.90 on Chinese goods for every $1 that the Chinese spend on goods from the United States .
#18 One prominent economist is projecting that the Chinese economy will be three times larger than the U.S. economy by the year 2040.
#19 The U.S. Census Bureau says that 43.6 million Americans are now living in poverty and according to them that is the highest number of poor Americans in the 51 years that records have been kept.
So how many tens of thousands more factories do we need to lose before we do something about it?
How many millions more Americans are going to become unemployed before we all admit that we have a very, very serious problem on our hands?
How many more trillions of dollars are going to leave the country before we realize that we are losing wealth at a pace that is killing our economy?
How many once great manufacturing cities are going to become rotting war zones like Detroit before we understand that we are committing national economic suicide?
The deindustrialization of America is a national crisis. It needs to be treated like one.
America is in deep, deep trouble folks. It is time to wake up
Changes are coming

Want to know how the lame ducks in Congress plan to "cut" federal spending – which seemed to be a dominating theme of the 2010 elections? They're proposing a plan to take upwards of $44 billion a year from taxpayers and hand it over to illegal aliens who are in the United States so they can go to "college".
The plan is called the Dream Act, for Development, Relief and Education of Alien Minors, and its critics know it as an amnesty program for illegal aliens. Its supporters say anyone who doesn't want to spend the money on college subsidies for illegal aliens is "racist."
But policy experts are warning the act is truly transformative and in the end, among other things, would authorize federal "loans" to literally millions of newly qualified applicants and provide a preference for the children of illegal aliens in state college admissions.
The Late Great USA" and find out how America is giving away its sovereignty
According to the Department of Education, the maximum amount one can borrow per year for undergraduate education from the federal government is $21,000. And the Dream Act would incorporate some 2.1 million new "students" into programs under which they would qualify for those loans.
"Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid [D-Nev.] has placed S. 2837, the Dream Act, on the legislative calendar, and has indicated he will seek a vote during the lame duck session of Congress," Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., ranking GOP member on the Senate Judiciary Committee, said in an immigration alert. "The Dream Act will give them access to in-state tuition rates at public universities, federal "student loans" and federal work-study programs." The education provisions are buried deep within the text of a general, overall amnesty bill, which may make the U.S. the new legal home for millions of now-illegal aliens, including criminals, Sessions said.
Opponents say the lame duck session of Congress should not move forward on issues that previously were rejected by lawmakers, especially on such monumental and controversial topics.
While the issue needs to be addressed, they said, it needs a full discussion.
True immigration reform "deserves comprehensive legislation that addresses all aspects of the subject, balancing all legitimate interests," said Joseph A. Morris, a board member of the American Conservative Union and a former associate attorney general of the U.S. under President Reagan.
"It should go to the head of the agenda in the new Congress, so that there is plenty of time for thorough hearings and an open and informed national debate," he said.
But many say plans to address the landmark change not only are being pushed now by Reid, who failed to get it through the U.S. Senate earlier, and outgoing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, but they are planning to march it through the process without hearings.
Sessions said some of the more stunning provisions of the plan are:
Section 3 of the bill repeals Section 505 of the "Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996" (8 U.S. Code 1623) which currently prohibits the government from giving educational benefits to any "unlawfully present individual," thus ensuring that illegal aliens will qualify for "in-state tuition," at the state college of their choice, even if they live in another state.
Section 10 of the act enables illegal aliens who receive amnesty under the bill's general provisions to apply for federally guaranteed student loans under Title IV of the "Higher Education Act of 1965" (20 U.S. Code, et seq.), including Stafford Loans, Perkins Loans, Federal Direct Stafford/Ford loans, federal work-study programs and federally sponsored tutoring and counseling.
Another section of the bill ensures that illegal aliens can continue to receive these federal student loans, which are often used to cover living expenses, as well as tuition, over the course of eight years, even if they do not complete a college "degree".
An earlier version of the bill failed in the Senate in September, garnering only 56 Democratic votes, when it needed 60 to prevent a GOP filibuster.
Reid, with his renewed push for the drastic changes, is believed by some observers to be paying back Latino supporters, who helped him narrowly defeat tea party favorite Sharron Angle in the Nevada senate race a few weeks ago, by bringing the controversial measure back, and enhancing it with additional goodies.
Other radical left politicians, like Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr., D-Ill., a key ally of Pelosi, D-Calif., are also publicly supporting the bill in the House.
"At a time when natural born Americans cannot afford to send their kids to college, watching the federal government take their tax dollars to pay for tuition on behalf of illegal aliens is a clear slap in the face," Rev. Isaac C. Hayes, the GOP nominee against Jesse Jackson Jr. this past fall and an emerging voice in the African-American conservative movement, told WND.
"Jesse Jackson Jr. is a staunch supporter of this amnesty bill and has demonstrated the ultimate betrayal to his "community" , " he said.
Democrats, however, are feeling pressure. It appears clear if President Obama, a supporter of amnesty, does not get the bill through during the lame duck session of Congress, he will not see it passed at any time during the remaining two years of his term.
Rep. Lamar Smith, R-Texas, author of the 1986 immigration reform bill and incoming chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, has signaled that liberal spending programs that put taxpayers on the hook no longer on the table in the U.S. House, where Republicans will be the majority. His comments came when he said this week that he and his colleagues would be "moving forward with our agenda to rein in government spending and create more jobs."
It was Colin O'Donohoe, artistic director for the Pangean Orchestra, an all-illegal alien performing troupe, who said, "I believe the issue is purely racist in nature and does nothing more than stir up hatred for Hispanics.
"Our country has hundreds of years of history in allowing people to immigrate. Now that the economy is weak we are turning our anger towards the easiest target which is the people least able to defend themselves," he said.
E.W. Jackson Sr., who works with STAND PAC, recently wrote the Dream Act is a nightmare that will lead to chaos.
"I know why Reid and his liberal Democrats want to pass the Dream Act. They just lost an election, and they're scared. When they look at 2012, they see their prospects for success are dismal, because Americans aren't coming on board with their big government agenda.
"They desperately need to gather up millions of new voters who will support them. What better way to do this than to open up a wealth of entitlements for millions of people here illegally, making them beholden to Democrats and their socialist agenda!"
He warned, "You are going to pay for it … Dream Act recipients will immediately become eligible for federal student loans, work study programs and other forms of "financial aid" – all on your dime."

Best Buy Customer Service- Thanks Kellie for doing the right thing!
I posted yesterday about my experience on Black Friday with Best Buy where I , essentilally, blacked their and all yuppies's eyes. I was at the Best Buy store on Morse Rd this morning at 9 and a young lady, Kellie, looked into the problem.
I had picked up the boxed unit from in front of the sign which indicated $449. She checked the receipt and the identifying number did not match the one I had picked up. After a few minutes and consultation with a sales person in the TV area and a manager, Kellie gave me the price of $449 and took $53.38 off my bill.
I call that a good faith transaction and good customer service.
Thanks Best Buy and Kellie!

Jordan Throws a Little Deserved Ridicule at Lebron
In Sports, Stupidity, UK Basketball on November 27, 2010 at 6:48 am
It’s about time.
I tire of Lebron. Dude acts like he deserves accolades and deserves to be respected and loved.
WIN A CHAMPIONSHIP LEBRON!
Then you can have your commercial and say that you’ve “been here before.”
Until then, you’re just a wannabe.
Sorry.
Dawood
Some argue that Lebron is better than Kobe. I’d argue that Kobe has 5 rings. I’m not the biggest Kobe fan on the planet. He has, however, earned his status with action. He doesn’t just run his mouth.
Michael Jordan
Enough with the excuses. Show us something ‘Bron. Show us.
I love that you show my Cats the love. That said, do something besides whining.

“He’ll never be Jordan,” Barkley told 790 The Ticket in Miami earlier in the week. “This clearly takes him out of the conversation. He can win as much as he wants to.
Barkley
“There would have been something honorable about staying in Cleveland and trying to win it as ‘The Man’ … LeBron, if he would’ve in Cleveland, and if he could’ve got a championship there, it would have been over the top for his legacy, just one in Cleveland. No matter how many he wins in Miami, it clearly is Dwyane Wade’s team.”

Mr. Jordan is so right as is Barkley. Miami will always be Wade’s team.

Nonetheless Dave, with all of the basketall skills of you Rick Brizendine, and me guarding LeBron in a half court game, he could still accomplish whatever he wants whenever.
Michael Jordan isn’t one for cheap shots. I expected LeBron to leave Cleveland, as I knew Pitino would go to Boston, but never thought rp would go to the Vile.
One thing more… The money was neither so plentiful in the League for Barkley nor Michael, although both became rich enough in the game we all love. Money is the root of all evil. That is why this old guy (me) envies the riches of Dave and Rick.
The black fellows dedicate teir lives and just simply out play us whites. Are they to be envied? I am just so happy that Coach Cal is so aware of the best and relates well with them. And we Kentucky fans appreciate good basketball.

Customer service and yuppies- Sam
I am an ex-Quality Control director from industry. I realize that the customer expects price and delivery up front along with quality and service.
If the customer is shorted with bad quality or poor service, the company is better suited to lose that customer forever along with many people he tells.
Well, I am the fool that went shopping for a 32" I have been studying a little for and got some good advice from an expert. We bought a 1080 42" for our family room a while back. It was an LG 1080, 120 HZ. The 120 HZ means that you can see more definition in the crowd at ball games and I love watching Kentucky basketball and looking for friends.
Well I went to Best Buy Polaris and through Zach, one of Gin Pee's students, learned that the best deal for me was the Insignia 32 1080, 120HZ and it was marked $449. The Insignia is made by LG which is in Korea (South you can bet because the North makes only crap). In trying to be carfeul. I drove on down to Easton's HH Gregg. The salesman there tried to put me into a latest technology LED at $699 after I had already told him what I wanted. Otherwise, he had only 60HZ in 1080 32".
I, still being cautious, went to Target, Walmart, and to the Best Buy at Easton to finally pick up the one originally priced to me at Best Buy Polaris. Salesman at Best Buy are not on commission; however, HH Gregg's sales people are on commission.
Well, I wheeled the TV to the front of the store for the queing line. After 15-20 minutes I got to a young male cahier. He scanned the bar code and rang up $499. I said" "Oh no, the price is 449." He said Oh that's with tax. Sales tax would take it only to $480. I acquiesced. His final receipt camew to $$99 plus $33 tax. and he said I would have to take my receipt to Customer Service to straighten out the billing. The Best Buy store had created a maze to get through to the Customer Service counter. I got through the maze (10 Minutes) and waited an hour to get to a young fellow who told me that I needed to go to the return line. The store markings were ambiguous. I went back to that line which had been too long before and it was now longer. I just came on out of the store with the receipt from the first cahier. I intend to go back Tuesday morning after "First Cyber Monday" to attempt to straighten the deal out, becauser the lines Monday will be out of the question. If it cannot be corrected I will simply ask the store to take the TV back and credit my account.
Enough already!

Subject: SAD & TRUE A REAL EYE OPENER
We're "broke" and can't help our own Seniors, Veterans, Orphans, Homeless etc.?
In the last month, we have provided aid to Haiti , Chile , and Turkey .
Our retired seniors living on a 'fixed income' receive no aid or get any breaks while our government and religious organizations pour Hundreds of Millions of $$$$$'s and Tons of Food to Foreign Countries!
We have hundreds of adoptable children who are shoved aside to make room for the adoption of foreign orphans.
USA -- a country where we have homeless without shelter, children going to bed hungry, elderly going without 'needed' meds, and mentally ill without treatment etc, etc. YET...................They have a 'Benefit' for the people of Haiti on 12 TV stations, ships and planes lining up with food, water, tents clothes, bedding, doctors and medical supplies.
Imagine if the *GOVERNMENT* gave U.S. citizens the same support they give to other countries.
Sad isn't it? When is Congress going to wake up?
99% of people won't have the guts to forward this.

I have seen very few scientific studies of homosexuality. Diversity is ok for those who feel they must practice those types of sexual behavior and I am not to judge, but I found this bit of research interesting:

Lesbianism linked to upbringing
Charlie Butts - OneNewsNow - 11/22/2010 3:35:00 AMA recently released study shows a link between childhood family structure and the rate of female homosexuality -- undermining the claim that sexual orientation is genetic or biological.
Family Research Council (FRC) looked into the family lives and worship rates of 7,643 women between the ages of 14 and 44. Pat Fagan, senior fellow and director of the Marriage and Religion Research Institute at FRC, co-evaluated the data and tells OneNewsNow about the findings.
"Once the girl grows up in a home in which her father is not present, it's about three times" more likely she has had or will have homosexual partners, he says -- but when she is raised by parents who are married and "always intact, it's about a four-percent rate." Moreover, he explains that rate is "slightly higher in the always-intact-but-cohabitating parents -- that's parents who never married."
Statistics are also higher with step-families, the cohabiting step-family, and the single divorced parent, adds the FRC spokesman.
"The big take away from this study is that clearly, this [type of sexual behavior] is not genetic," Fagan points out. "The different rates of homosexuality among women are very reactive to the family structure within which they grow up. If it was genetic, you would find pretty much the same rates all across."
He further notes that, according to the results of the study, women who claim to worship weekly or monthly have a lower rate of lesbianism, while those who rarely or never worship are at a higher rate.

Russians deakl quickly with Somalian pirates... Thanks George K.

Subject: FW: Fw: One way to deal with a problem.............
Now, that’s the kind of “negotiations” that Teddy Roosevelt understood. What was it he said? Walk softly and carry a big BOOM! There certainly won’t be any repeat offenders among those pirates, will there?
This should be the U.S. policy for dealing with the pirate problem. The problem would cease to exist.
I guess it beats reading an indignant letter to the UN General Assembly...Think how quickly this was handled by the Russian's.
RUSSIAN NAVY CAPTURES SOMALIAN PIRATES
http://true-turtle.livejournal.com/85315.html
This videotape shows Russian Navy commandos on a Somalian pirate ship shortly after the pirates had captured a Russian oil tanker. The Euro Union navy that patrols these waters would not interfere because they feared there could be casualties.
All explanations are in Russian with a single exception of when a wounded pirate says something in English and the Russian soldier says "This is not a fishing boat.". All conversations between the commandos are in Russian. If you don't understand Russian, the pictures speak for themselves.
The soldiers freed their compatriots and the tanker. The Russian Navy Commandos moved the pirates back to their own (pirate) ship, searched the pirate ship for weapons and explosives, and then they left the ship and exploded it with all remaining pirates hand-cuffed to it.
The commandos sank the pirate ship along with the pirates and without any court proceedings, lawyers etc. That is, they used the anti-piracy laws of the 18th and 19th centuries where the captain of the rescuing ship has the right to decide what to do with the pirates. Usually, they were hung.
I would think from now on, Russian ships will not be targets for Somalian pirates.

Salaries of Charity CEO's... Thanks Clay!
Here is an eye opener!!
As the Christmas and charity giving season approaches, you might consider the following as you pass those bell-ringers standing by the kettles. Compare some other donation big names as well.
John Haddick`62
Keep these facts in mind when "donating". As you open your pockets for yet another natural disaster, keep these facts in mind:
Marsha J. Evans, President and CEO of the American Red Cross... Salary for year ending 06/30/03 was $651,957 plus expenses. (That's $74.42 an hour For EVERY hour of EVERY day.)
Brian Gallagher, President of the United Way receives a $375,000base salary, plus numerous expense benefits. (That's $42.80 an hour for EVERY Hour of EVERY day.)
UNICEF CEO receives $1,200,000 per year plus all expenses and a ROLLS ROYCE car where ever he goes and only cents of your dollar goes to the cause. (That's $1369.86 an hour for EVERY hour of EVERY day.)
The Salvation Army's Commissioner Todd Bassett receives a salary of only $13,000 per year (plus housing) for managing this $2 billion dollar organization.

Here is TO the flat tax! Sam
Only a flat tax as a new tax and repeal all others!
This was introduced back in 1994, eight years ago. I had a New York metallurgist friend tell me about the flat tax forty years ago. I liked it then and I like it more now!
Politicians won't let it happen unless the new Congress has some guts to foster such a tax. I am just plain fed up with taxes. It seems that each elected official in the twentieth and twenty-first century schemed a new tax upon his/her constituents rather than performing their duties as representatives of the people.
Sam
There's a Flat Tax in Our Future
by Congressman Dick Armey (R-TX) 1994
Permit me to paraphrase a favorite Ethel Merman song, but the truth is that “Everything’s coming up flat tax.” Today’s mindlessly complicated, growth-stifling tax code is tumbling toward the wastebasket of history, and that’s why my good friend Senator Richard Shelby of Alabama and I are proud to be sponsors of the “Freedom and Fairness Restoration Act.”
Our proposal features a tax system so simple you could do your taxes on a postcard, and so fair that it just might restore people’s trust in government. Rather than tinkering with a tax code nobody likes, Senator Shelby and I would scrap the entire code, both corporate and personal, and replace it with one flat tax rate for all Americans.
We would leave only one exception: a family allowance to assure that every family has first claim to its own income sufficient to support itself. Under our proposal a typical family of four would have to earn $33,300 before it would owe a penny of federal income tax. Beyond this, everyone would pay a flat 17 percent on all income. No deductions, no loopholes no special tax breaks, no tables, no schedules just a straight, uncomplicated tax.
Each year you would calculate your income, fill out a postcard-size form, make out a check and drop it in the mail, period. You’d be done with the IRS until the following year. If you had business income the process would be almost the same. Whether you are IBM or a mom-and-pop grocer, you’d still fill out a postcard-sized form. Just subtract expenses from gross revenues and pay 17 percent on the remainder - simplicity itself.
Imagine such a bright new world dawning. Gone will be today’s 480 different tax forms, as well as the 280 forms that explain how to fill out the first 480 forms. Whole regiments of tax attorneys and lobbyists will be looking for more productive employment. And as for all those IRS agents and auditors, instead of harassing you they’ll be sitting at their desks - probably like those Maytag repairmen in television ads - lonely, with nothing to do.
There is also one important change from our 1994 flat tax bill. We’ve added a provision requiring a three-fifths super majority in congress to raise the tax rate, to add additional rates, to create loopholes or to shrink the family allowance. The tax is going to stay flat.
The appeal of our flat tax proposal resides in four things citizens know about the bill: it’s simple, it’s honest, it’s pro-growth, and it’s fair.
First of all, it’s simple. No longer would Americans spend 5.4 billion work-hours figuring their taxes each year, which, by the way, is more work-hours than required to produce every car, van and truck built in the U.S. last year. One estimate indicates that our flat tax could save $232 billion a year in man-hours, a potential savings of $900 for every man, woman and child in America.
Secondly, by sweeping away all the special interest loopholes, the flat tax will show us how much money government is really costing us. By eliminating the present tax code’s incessant social engineering and economic tinkering, the tax is more honest, shifting power from politicians to their citizens when it comes to making financial judgments.
Third, the flat tax is pro-growth, planting the seeds for needed rises in output and wages. The chief cause of our long stagnant wages in the U.S. is our anemic saving rate, and the chief cause of our low saving rate is today’s policy of taxing savings twice, once when a dollar is earned, and then again when it produces a return. The flat tax wipes out this perverse bias against saving; savings will rise, the nation’s pool of capital will grow, workers will be better equipped and trained, and output will expand, leading to bigger paychecks.
But a higher saving rate isn’t enough. We also need greater rewards for work and risk taking. Instead of punishing entrepreneurship with steeply progressive tax rates, the flat tax slashes the top rate from 40 to 17 percent, enabling America to unfetter the future Thomas Edison and Bill Gates to create the inventions and industries offering the high-paying jobs of tomorrow. The flat tax would make risk taking worthwhile again, while making America a magnet for foreign investment capital.
The fourth and final reason people like the flat tax idea is also the most politically powerful. It’s fair. In America, we define fairness as treating everybody the same - rich or poor, black or white, everyone is equal under the law.
Liberals ought to love a flat tax! When you tax everyone at the same rate, the rich pay much more in taxes than the middle class and the poor. With three times the income, you pay three times the tax, and so on. And beyond this, our flat tax is in its own way “progressive.” If you make three times the income you pay three times the tax. And thanks to a generous family allowance even with a flat rate a family making $33,300 a year would pay no federal income tax, while a family making $200,000 a year would end up because the $33,300 exemption paying 14 percent of its income. Indeed, about 20 million Americans would be dropped from the tax roles altogether. What’s not for a liberal to love?
So there you have it; simplicity, honesty, growth and fairness - four reasons people love the flat tax. But allow me to address some of the concerns that have been raised.
The first comes from the class-warfare crowd. Our plan taxes investment income at exactly the same rate it taxes wages; but what it doesn’t do is tax it twice. Today a dollar of corporate earnings is taxed at the business level, and taxed again when it’s paid out as a dividend. Our bill, by way of contrast, would tax every dollar of business generated income at the business level, once and only once. To suggest as some have that our plan does not tax investment income is a misrepresentation of the plan.
A second area of concern is the elimination of the home mortgage interest deduction which some critics assume will hurt the real estate industry. But eliminating the mortgage interest deduction won’t hurt the industry nearly so much as much lower interest rates will help it.
Interestingly, a recent poll showed that by a three-to-one margin homeowners said they’d be willing to forego the mortgage interest deduction if the loss was offset by a reduction of their tax bills in similar amounts.
A third concern comes from our conservative friends who are worried that charities may suffer without a continued tax deduction for philanthropic giving. But in truth, almost half of charitable contributions today are not even claimed as tax deductions. When President Reagan cut the top marginal rate from 70 percent to 28 percent, charitable giving became much less valuable for tax purposes, and yet charitable giving didn’t drop, but actually doubled.
What, then, is the “Freedom and Fairness Restoration Act?” It’s an overdue plan so simple you could do your taxes on a postcard, but it’s more than that - it’s a vision of what America can be again - literally a formula for rejuvenating our economy, freeing our entrepreneural talent and reviving family incomes that for too long have remained stagnant.
And who knows? It might just restore people’s willingness to trust their government, which is why I believe there’s a flat tax is in America’s future.

Killed in Action vs. wrong place - wrong time
Whether you love him or hate him ...
~Limbaugh Nailed This One ~
By Rush Limbaugh:
I think the vast differences in compensation between victims of the September 11 casualty and those who die serving our country in Uniform are profound. No one is really talking about it either, because you just don't criticize anything having to do with September 11. Well, I can't let the numbers pass by because it says something really disturbing about the entitlement mentality of this country. If you lost a family member in the September 11 attack, you're going to get an average of $1,185,000. The range is a minimum guarantee of $250,000, all the way up to $4.7 million..
If you are a surviving family member of an American soldier killed in action,
the first check you get is a $6,000 direct death benefit, half of which is taxable.
Next, you get $1,750 for burial costs. If you are the surviving spouse, you get $833 a month until you remarry. And there's a payment of $211 per month for each child under 18. When the child hits 18, those payments come to a screeching halt.
Keep in mind that some of the people who are getting an average of $1.185 million up to $4.7 million are complaining that it's not enough. Their deaths were tragic, but for most, they were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. Soldiers put themselves in harms way FOR ALL OF US, and they and their families
know the dangers...
(Actually, soldiers are put in harms way by politicians and commanding officers.)
We also learned over the weekend that some of the victims from the Oklahoma City bombing have started an organization asking for the same deal that the September 11 families are getting. In addition to that, some of the families of those bombed in the embassies are now asking for compensation as well.
You see where this is going, don't you? Folks, this is part and parcel of over 50 years of entitlement politics in this country. It's just really sad. Every time a pay raise comes up for the military, they usually receive next to nothing of a raise. Now the green machine is in combat in the Middle East while their families have to survive on food stamps and live in low-rent housing. Make sense?
However, our own US Congress voted themselves a raise. Many of you don't know that they only have to be in Congress one time to receive a pension that is more than $15,000 per month. And most are now equal to being millionaires plus. They do not receive Social Security on retirement because they didn't have to pay into the system. If some of the military people stay in for 20 years and get out as an E-7, they may receive a pension of $1,000 per month, and the very people who
placed them in harm's way receives a pension of $15,000 per month.
I would like to see our elected officials pick up a weapon and join ranks before they start cutting out benefits and lowering pay for our sons and daughters who are now fighting.
"When do we finally do something about this?"
If this doesn't seem fair to you, it's time to forward this to as many people as you can...

Pinocchio, Snow White, and Superman are out for a stroll in town one day.
As they walk, they come across a sign:
"Beauty contest for the most beautiful woman in the world."
"I am entering!" said Snow White.
After half an hour she comes out and they ask her, "Well, how'd ya do?"
" First Place !," said Snow White.
They continue walking and they see a sign:
"Contest for the strongest man in the world."
"I'm entering," says Superman.
After half an hour, he returns and they ask him, "How did you make out?"
" First Place ," answers Superman. "Did you ever doubt?"
They continue walking when they see a sign:
"Contest! Who is the greatest liar in the world?" Pinocchio enters.
After half an hour he returns with tears in his eyes.
"What happened?" they asked..
"Who the h@#% is Obama?" asked Pinocchio.

True, John, and I know many of them and few are conceding the fact. They cannot admit their vote was wrong.
We have to hold the new Congresses feet to the fire to make them take conservative moves to undo little o.

Some people have a command of the vocabulary to phrase things so that you can understand them. This quote came from the Czech Republic. Someone over there has it figured out. We have a lot of work to do.
"The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president."

-----
CHANGES ARE COMING ----
Whether these changes are good or bad depends in part on how we adapt to
them. But, ready or not, here they come
1. The Post Office. Get ready to imagine a world without the post office.
They are so deeply in financial trouble that there is probably no way to
sustain it long term. Email, Fed Ex, and UPS have just about wiped out the
minimum revenue needed to keep the post office alive.
Most of your mail every day is junk mail and bills.
2. The Check. Britain is already laying the groundwork to do away with
checks by 2018. It costs the financial system billions of dollars a year to
process checks. Plastic cards and online transactions will lead to the
eventual demise of the check. This plays right into the death of the post
office. If you never paid your bills by mail and never received them by
mail, the post office would absolutely go out of business.
3. The Newspaper. The younger generation simply doesn't read the newspaper.
They certainly don't subscribe to a daily delivered print edition. That may
go the way of the milkman and the laundry man. As for reading the paper
online, get ready to pay for it. The rise in mobile Internet devices and
e-readers has caused all the newspaper and magazine publishers to form an
alliance. They have met with Apple, Amazon, and the major cell phone
companies to develop a model for paid subscription services.
4. The Book. You say you will never give up the physical book that you hold
in your hand and turn the literal pages. I said the same thing about
downloading music fromiTunes. I wanted my hard copy CD. But I quickly
changed my mind when I discovered that I could get albums for half the price
without ever leaving home to get the latest music. The same thing will
happen with books. You can browse a bookstore online and even read a preview
chapter before you buy. And the price is less than half that of a real book.
And think of the convenience! Once you start flicking your fingers on the
screen instead of the book, you find that you are lost in the story, can't
wait to see what happens next, and you forget that you're holding a gadget
instead of a book.
5. The Land Line Telephone. Unless you have a large family and make a lot of
local calls, you don't need it anymore. Most people keep it simply because
they've always had it. But you are paying double charges for that extra
service. All the cell phone companies will let you call customers using the
same cell provider for no charge against your minutes
6. Music. This is one of the saddest parts of the change story. The music
industry is dying a slow death. Not just because of illegal downloading.
It's the lack of innovative new music being given a chance to get to the
people who would like to hear it. Greed and corruption is the problem. The
record labels and the radio conglomerates are simply self-destructing. Over
40% of the music purchased today is "catalog items," meaning traditional
music that the public is familiar with. Older established artists. This is
also true on the live concert circuit. To explore this fascinating and
disturbing topic further, check out the book, "Appetite for
Self-Destruction" by Steve Knopper, and the video documentary, "Before the
Music Dies."
7. Television. Revenues to the networks are down dramatically. Not just
because of the economy. People are watching TV and movies streamed from
their computers. And they're playing games and doing lots of other things
that take up the time that used to be spent watching TV. Prime time shows
have degenerated down to lower than the lowest common denominator. Cable
rates are skyrocketing and commercials run about every 4 minutes and 30
seconds. I say good riddance to most of it. It's time for the cable
companies to be put out of our misery. Let the people choose what they want
to watch online and through Netflix.
8. The "Things" That You Own. Many of the very possessions that we used to
own are still in our lives, but we may not actually own them in the future.
They may simply reside in "the cloud." Today your computer has a hard drive
and you store your pictures, music, movies, and documents. Your software is
on a CD or DVD, and you can always re-install it if need be. But all of that
is changing. Apple, Microsoft, and Google are all finishing up their latest
"cloud services." That means that when you turn on a computer, the Internet
will be built into the operating system. So, Windows, Google, and the Mac OS
will be tied straight into the Internet. If you click an icon, it will open
something in the Internet cloud. If you save something, it will be saved to
the cloud. And you may pay a monthly subscription fee to the cloud provider.
In this virtual world, you can access your music or your books, or your
whatever from any laptop or handheld device. That's the good news. But, will
you actually own any of this "stuff" or will it all be able to disappear at
any moment in a big "Poof?" Will most of the things in our lives be
disposable and whimsical? It makes you want to run to the closet and pull
out that photo album, grab a book from the shelf, or open up a CD case and
pull out the insert.
9. Privacy. If there ever was a concept that we can look back on
nostalgically, it would be privacy. That's gone. It's been gone for a long
time anyway. There are cameras on the street, in most of the buildings, and
even built into your computer and cell phone. But you can be sure that 24/7,
"They" know who you are and where you are, right down to the GPS
coordinates, and the Google Street View. If you buy something, your habit is
put into a zillion profiles, and your ads will change to reflect those
habits. And "They" will try to get you to buy something else. Again and
again.
19 Facts About The Deindustrialization Of America That Will Blow Your Mind
The United States is rapidly becoming the very first "post-industrial"
nation on the globe. All great economic empires eventually become fat and
lazy and squander the great wealth that their forefathers have left them,
but the pace at which America is accomplishing this is absolutely amazing.
It was America that was at the forefront of the industrial revolution. It
was America that showed the world how to mass produce everything from
automobiles to televisions to airplanes.
It was the great American manufacturing base that crushed Germany and Japan
in World War II.
But now we are witnessing the deindustrialization of America. Tens of
thousands of factories have left the United States in the past decade
alone. Millions upon millions of manufacturing jobs have been lost in the
same time period. The United States has become a nation that consumes
everything in sight and yet produces increasingly little. Do you know what
our biggest export is today? Waste paper. Yes, trash is the number one
thing that we ship out to the rest of the world as we voraciously blow our
money on whatever the rest of the world wants to sell to us. The United
States has become bloated and spoiled and our economy is now just a shadow
of what it once was. Once upon a time America could literally out produce
the rest of the world combined. Today that is no longer true, but Americans
sure do consume more than anyone else in the world. If the
deindustrialization of America continues at this current pace, what possible
kind of a future are we going to be leaving to our children?
Any great nation throughout history has been great at making things.
So if the United States continues to allow its manufacturing base to erode
at a staggering pace how in the world can the U.S. continue to consider
itself to be a great nation? We have created the biggest debt bubble in the
history of the world in an effort to maintain a very high standard of
living, but the current state of affairs is not anywhere close to
sustainable. Every single month America goes into more debt and every
single month America gets poorer.
So what happens when the debt bubble pops?
The deindustrialization of the United States should be a top concern for
every man, woman and child in the country. But sadly, most Americans do not
have any idea what is going on around them.
For people like that, take this article and print it out and hand it to
them. Perhaps what they will read below will shock them badly enough to
awaken them from their slumber.
The following are 19 facts about the deindustrialization of America that
will blow your mind....
#1 The United States has lost approximately 42,400 factories since 2001.
About 75 percent of those factories employed over 500 people when they were
still in operation.
#2 Dell Inc., one of America ’s largest manufacturers of computers, has
announced plans to dramatically expand its operations in China with an
investment of over $100 billion over the next decade.
#3 Dell has announced that it will be closing its last large U.S.
manufacturing facility in Winston-Salem, North Carolina in November.
Approximately 900 jobs will be lost.
#4 In 2008, 1.2 billion cell phones were sold worldwide. So how many of
them were manufactured inside the United States? Zero.
#5 According to a new study conducted by the Economic Policy Institute, if
the U.S. trade deficit with China continues to increase at its current rate,
the U.S. economy will lose over half a million jobs this year alone.
#6 As of the end of July, the U.S. trade deficit with China had risen
18 percent compared to the same time period a year ago.
#7 The United States has lost a total of about 5.5 million manufacturing
jobs since October 2000.
#8 According to Tax Notes, between 1999 and 2008 employment at the foreign
affiliates of U.S. parent companies increased an astounding 30 percent to
10.1 million. During that exact same time period, U.S.
employment at American multinational corporations declined 8 percent to 21.1
million.
#9 In 1959, manufacturing represented 28 percent of U.S. economic output.
In 2008, it represented 11.5 percent.
#10 Ford Motor Company recently announced the closure of a factory that
produces the Ford Ranger in St. Paul, Minnesota. Approximately
750 good paying middle class jobs are going to be lost because making Ford
Rangers in Minnesota does not fit in with Ford's new "global"
manufacturing strategy.
#11 As of the end of 2009, less than 12 million Americans worked in
manufacturing. The last time less than 12 million Americans were employed
in manufacturing was in 1941.
#12 In the United States today, consumption accounts for 70 percent of GDP.
Of this 70 percent, over half is spent on services.
#13 The United States has lost a whopping 32 percent of its manufacturing
jobs since the year 2000.
#14 In 2001, the United States ranked fourth in the world in per capita
broadband Internet use. Today it ranks 15th.
#15 Manufacturing employment in the U.S. computer industry is actually lower
in 2010 than it was in 1975.
#16 Printed circuit boards are used in tens of thousands of different
products. Asia now produces 84 percent of them worldwide.
#17 The United States spends approximately $3.90 on Chinese goods for every
$1 that the Chinese spend on goods from the United States.
#18 One prominent economist is projecting that the Chinese economy will be
three times larger than the U.S. economy by the year 2040.
#19 The U.S. Census Bureau says that 43.6 million Americans are now living
in poverty and according to them that is the highest number of poor
Americans in the 51 years that records have been kept.
So how many tens of thousands more factories do we need to lose before we do
something about it?
How many millions more Americans are going to become unemployed before we
all admit that we have a very, very serious problem on our hands?
How many more trillions of dollars are going to leave the country before we
realize that we are losing wealth at a pace that is killing our economy?
How many once great manufacturing cities are going to become rotting war
zones like Detroit before we understand that we are committing national
economic suicide?
The deindustrialization of America is a national crisis. It needs to be
treated like one.
America is in deep, deep trouble folks. It is time to wake up
No kidding these are real changes for America and the world. And our current POUSA is no comfort in times like these.

Best of luck... Thanks Tom& Carolyn!
Best of Luck to you!
Irish Luck - Remember to send it back!
I want this back. It DOES work.
His name was Fleming, and he was a poor Scottish farmer. One day, while trying to make a living for his family, he heard a cry for help coming from a nearby bog. He dropped his tools
and ran to the bog.
There, mired to his waist in black muck, was a terrified boy, screaming and struggling to free himself. Farmer Fleming saved the lad from what could have been a slow and terrifying death.
The next day, a fancy carriage pulled up to the Scotsman's sparse surroundings. An elegantly dressed nobleman stepped out and introduced himself as the father of the boy Farmer Fleming had saved.
'I want to repay you,' said the nobleman. 'You saved my son's life.'
'No, I can't accept payment for what I did,' the Scottish farmer replied waving off the offer. At that moment, the farmer's own son came to the door of the family hovel.
'Is that your son?' the nobleman asked.
'Yes,' the farmer replied proudly.
'I'll make you a deal. Let me provide him with the level of education my own son will enjoy If the lad is anything like his father, he'll no doubt grow to be a man we both will be proud of.' And that he did.
Farmer Fleming's son attended the very best schools and in time, graduated from St. Mary 's Hospital Medical School in London, and went on to become known throughout the world as the noted Sir Alexander Fleming, the discoverer of Penicillin.
Years afterward, the same nobleman's son who was saved from the bog was stricken with pneumonia.
What saved his life this time? Penicillin.
The name of the nobleman? Lord Randolph Churchill .. His son's name?
Sir Winston Churchill.

This retired USMC Sgt. Major has his Stuff together.
Jimmy Carter, you are the father of the Islamic Nazi movement. You threw
the Shah under the bus, welcomed the Ayatollah home, and then lacked the
spine to confront the terrorists when they took our embassy and our people
hostage. You're the "runner-in-chief."
Bill Clinton, you played ring around the Lewinsky while the terrorists
were
at war with us. You got us into a fight with them in Somalia and then you
ran from it. Your weak-willed responses to the USS Cole and the First
Trade
Center Bombing and Our Embassy Bombings emboldened the killers. Each time
you failed to respond adequately, they grew bolder, until 9/11/2001.
John Kerry, dishonesty is your most prominent attribute. You lied about
American Soldiers in Vietnam. Your military service, like your life, is
more
fiction than fact. You've accused our military of terrorizing women and
children in Iraq. You called Iraq the wrong war, wrong place, wrong time,
and the same words you used to describe Vietnam. You're a fake! You want
to
run from Iraq and abandon the Iraqis to murderers just as you did to the
Vietnamese. Iraq, like Vietnam, is another war that you were for, before
you were against it.
John Murtha, you said our military was broken. You said we can't win
militarily in Iraq. You accused United States Marines of cold-blooded
murder without proof and said we should redeploy to Okinawa. Okinawa,
John?
And the Democrats call you their military expert! Are you sure you didn't
suffer a traumatic brain injury while you were off building your war hero
resume? You're a sad, pitiable, corrupt, and washed up old fool. You're
not
a Marine, sir. You wouldn't amount to a good pimple on a real Marine's
ass.
You're a phony and a disgrace. Run away, John.
Dick Durbin, you accused our Soldiers at Guantanamo of being Nazis,
tenders
of Soviet style gulags and as bad as the regime of Pol Pot, who murdered
two million of his own people after your party abandoned Southeast Asia to
the Communists. Now you want to abandon the Iraqis to the same fate.
History was not a good teacher for you, was it? Lord help us! See Dick
run.
Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Carl Levine, Barbara Boxer, Diane Feinstein,
Russ
Feingold, Pat Leahy, Barack Obama, Chuck Schumer, the Hollywood Leftist
morons, et al, ad nauseam: Every time you stand in front of television
cameras and broadcast to the Islamic Nazis that we went to war because our
President lied, that the war is wrong and our Soldiers are torturers, that
we should leave Iraq, you give the Islamic butchers - the same ones that
tortured and mutilated American Soldiers - cause to think that we'll run
away again, and all they have to do is hang on a little longer. It is
inevitable that we, the infidels, will have to defeat the Islamic
jihadists. Better to do it now on their turf, than later on ours after
they
have gained both strength and momentum.
American news media, the New York Times particularly: Each time you
publish
stories about national defense secrets and our intelligence gathering
methods, you become one united with the sub-human pieces of camel dung
that
torture and mutilate the bodies of American Soldiers. You can't strike up
the courage to publish cartoons, but you can help Al Qaeda destroy my
country. Actually, you are more dangerous to us than Al Qaeda is. Think
about that each time you face Mecca to admire your Pulitzer.
You are America's 'AXIS OF IDIOTS.' Your Collective Stupidity will destroy
us. Self-serving politics and terrorist-abetting news scoops are more
important to you than our national security or the lives of innocent
civilians and Soldiers. It bothers you that defending ourselves gets in
the
way of your elitist sport of politics and your ignorant editorializing.
There is as much blood on your hands as is on the hands of murdering
terrorists. Don't ever doubt that. Your frolics will only serve to extend
this war as they extended Vietnam. If you want our Soldiers home as you
claim, knock off the crap and try supporting your country ahead of
supporting your silly political aims and aiding our enemies.
Yes, I'm questioning your patriotism. Your loyalty ends with self. I'm
also
questioning why you're stealing air that decent Americans could be
breathing. You don't deserve the protection of our men and women in
uniform. You need to run away from this war, this country. Leave the war
to
the people who have the will to see it through and the country to people
who are willing to defend it.
Our country has two enemies: Those who want to destroy us from the outside
and those who attempt it from within.
Semper Fi,
J. D. Pendry - Sergeant Major, USMC, Retired
This is a savvy man. He has nailed it down pretty good. Too bad it won't

Too bad it won't
do
any good. There won't be 1 in 10 that receive it who will forward it.
